I paid almost $23 for my pernil plate with white rice and mofongo. I don't speak Spanish and did not want to argue so I just accepted it and walked out. What they might not know is that I have been here many times before and have never received a random upcharge like this before. I went on DoorDash and mock ordered what I would have ordered and it turned out to be less than what I actually paid at the restaurant. Prices are practically never cheaper on DoorDash! I absolutely feel like I was swindled today. I won't be coming back.

It's a large restaurant and the inside is well decorated. The staff all seemed to be native Spanish speakers and at times they seemed to not understand what we asked. Although they were very nice, service was somewhat slow especially towards the end when we waited to pay our bill. The food was all pretty good though we especially liked the ropa vieja and roasted pork which came in fairly large portions. There were also lots of flavor options for the mojito though they would only honor happy hour at the bar. We didn't love the desserts. Many people seemed to be there celebrating birthdays. There was lots of visual stimulation with strobe lights and a big TV playing music videos. There also was occasionally a man playing piano in the middle of the room.

MAYOR WARNING FOR DOOR DASHERS, on the one across from old town!!;…read more The three star for passed visits i had a great time n was lucky with the food. But why three? Im pretty sure this is the same truck over across old town where all the food trucks are parked. About 2 years ago they had nothing available. But they went above n beyond to offer us whatever they had left. Gave us a big plate of fried meat n what was left of their tostones n yuca. My family was happy and the food was just like back home. Yeah but why 3? You see im on vacation up here n I decided to try ordering their food trough Door dash, the location across old town shows up on door dash! I was like no freaking way!! And decided to do business with them. I was ecstatic! I remember how good their food was and better yet! The whole menu was available! I was like whuuut!? Carrucho encebollado? Bam!, alcapurias de jueyes? Bam!, camarrones con mofongo!!? BAAAAM! I made nice 6 item combo! Hell they had MACI!!? Oh yeah babbabbaaBAAM!!! Cue sponge bob meme: "1 hour later" So what happened? Door dasher driver goes through the horrible traffic jam in 192 to get to the place n guess what!? Anybody? The owner n the manager told my driver that they DO NOT DO DOOR DASH! But they are on the app!! Then the manager said he didn't even have his ipad on him. Sooo you do the dash? Or not?! Definitely deserves a 1 star for that, but i refuse to accept this! Im here for a week and i will challenge these company TO DO BETTER. Come on! Prove to me that u can do better! Again this rating is for the one across old town! (Fun stop) They not even on the map! I will gladly put them on the map later this week n obviously ask if these two businesses are the same truck n give them both a proper rating.

I ordered a cup of octopus, an alcapurria and a tripleta. The only thing I would rate 5/10 is the tripleta, I didn't find anything outstanding with it, too basic/plain, didn't have any special sauces of anything. The alcapurria was nice and crispy. They do not sell drinks though, if you want to buy a drink you need to visit the main complex which is a few steps away. The main complex has plenty of space to walk around and enjoy some family time after you eat, a HUGE gift shop, a lake, a mini petting zoo with ponies. They also have monster truck school buses you can ride!!

She made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the evening. The food and the ambiance were outstanding. We had a chef's pork special where the meat was served off the bone, and the remaining ribs were turned into sticky ribs. MAN! That dish alone was worth coming for. The New York strip was probably the best steak I've ever had, and the potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside and unbelievably soft inside. We also enjoyed the bacon-wrapped dates and fried octopus. Every dish delivered. Our cocktails were magnificent, and the service matched the quality of the food. What stood out was how well everything came together, from the meal to the hospitality. We felt genuinely cared for and never had a single complaint. Thank you, Kayla and the Capa team, for such a memorable evening. We can't wait to return!

Dan made sure our water never ran low and continued to refill our glasses throughout the night. Christian cleared the crumbs from our table between each course and reset our dining set. Every time we stepped out onto the terrace, we came back to find our napkins refolded. There were so many little gestures from the Capa team that made the evening feel special. The food was delicious. We ordered the shrimp cocktail and received an additional shrimp with our order. They were decently large in size. My friend and I shared the ribeye and lamb, which the kitchen was kind enough to precut for us. Both were absolutely phenomenal and I would recommend either one. We ended the evening with the chocolate lava cake, which was very good. The banana ice cream was a standout because you could tell it was made with actual bananas. There was nothing artificial about the flavor. Capa is a great dinner experience for anyone looking for something a little more special. Also, if you are not a guest at the hotel, you can receive complimentary valet parking when you have it validated at the restaurant.

Plancha feels like a hidden gem on Disney property - a really nice and affordable brunch experience…read morewith less hustle and bustle of being at Disney. The dining space is really nice and open, and it was fun to walk around the resort for a bit after! I enjoyed the breakfast empanadas as a starter, and they were flavorful and great! I'm not sure I got a whole lot of egg and breakfast vibes, but a good empanada is a good empanada. I also enjoyed the traditional breakfast plate, and everything was solid! They have a good breakfast potato, which is a clear sign of quality. My boyfriend enjoyed the Florida salad (one of his go-tos) and the avocado toast, raving for both! The salad really is light and full of great flavor. I enjoyed the guava fizz drink (yum!) but appreciate the option for bottomless mimosas or Bloody Mary's. Service was a bit slow at the end, but it was nice to not be rushed out and we didn't have an itinerary, so it all worked out. I'd visit again for sure!
