I just had the buffalo chicken cheesesteak on garlic-seeded bread and I'm not even exaggerating -- this might be one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The bread alone deserves a shoutout. That garlic-seeded roll was perfectly toasted, soft on the inside with just the right crisp on the outside. Every bite had that buttery garlic flavor that makes you not want to put it down. The chicken was loaded and cooked perfectly -- juicy, tender, and tossed in buffalo sauce that had the perfect balance of heat and flavor. Not too spicy, not bland -- just straight up addictive. The cheese melted into everything perfectly and tied it all together. And it was HUGE. They did not skim on portions at all. Definitely got my money's worth and then some. I stopped by the Kenilworth location because I was craving a cheesesteak. I'd never been to this one before, but I've been to the Belmar location a few times and it's never let me down. Unfortunately, this location taught me one thing: with this place, location really does matter. The experience started off on the wrong foot. I walked in, and the cashier didn't greet me or acknowledge me in any way. She just looked at me like I was supposed to already know the routine. I actually did know what I wanted, but it would have been nice to be treated like a customer instead of someone interrupting her day. While I was looking over the menu to see if I wanted to add anything else to the order, she simply said she'd be back and walked away. Okay then. I ended up ordering two cheessteaks (intentionally spelled this way to match the menu item), one for me and another for a friend. I had spent the whole drive talking this place up because of how much I enjoyed the Belmar location. The service was much faster than at the Belmar location. My order was ready in about 10 minutes. Then we took our first bites... and immediately I wished I had lower expectations. The cheesesteak just wasn't good. The steak didn't taste fresh or even like steak, the cheese couldn't save it, and the whole thing was surprisingly bland. I've had better cheesesteaks from a random deli in Philly (if you know, you know). I actually apologized to my friend because I hyped this place up so much and it's safe to say that we didn't get much out of this meal besides a good story. I won't be coming back to this location. Even though it's located in a strip mall, the parking can be a turn-off. And because they're in such demand, the wait for your food can be another turn-off. BUT other than that, I really liked this place. It's nothing fancy but it's clean and roomy. The food was fantastic! I wish they had a better variety of cheeses for the cheesesteaks but it was yummy anyway. We even got the blueberry bbq wings which sounds weird but what a delicious surprise! Like most people, I saw this on a viral reel on Instagram. They just opened this past Saturday (12/13/25). I figured waiting a few days would help, & apparently it did. I waited 1hr 10mins 55secs from walking in to walking out. That is NOT a complaint! I just was curious how long it would take. Small setup with some tables & chairs, not much more to it. Parking was troublesome as it sits inside of a small strip mall. Staff were doing an excellent job with keeping up with the insane demand that comes from going viral. The line was out the door when I arrived & the lot was a disaster, but again, the staff did an excellent job of managing everything & keeping their cool. Have been waiting to give this place a try . Small location not a lot of tables so will be a hit or miss if you will get a table but don't let it stop you from grabbing some take out . Service was pretty quick so we didn't wait too long for our food . We ordered an original cheesesteak which I will say was pretty hearty with meat and the cheese was blended well so it was a consistent bite and the sesame Italian bread was a good touch . We also decided to give the peach cobbler sweet but you definitely get a bite of heat and strawberry wings tasted more sweet with the imitation strawberry drizzle ( did not really care for the taste). I didn't have to wait long for my order like the other reviews, but it was not good. You can tell they get their meat frozen from US Foods. You can tell they literally put sugar on the onions to caramelize it because they don't know how to do it properly and there's way too much pepper on it. I expected a small wait but not over 2 hours for one cheese steak and wings . the cashier kept telling me he doesn't know how long it will take to make the food , didn't even try to ask the cooks. they were very unorganized and seemed overwhelmed. a lot of people wound up leaving without food because of the wait . kudos to the male chef who came to the front to try and help get people's names and orders out while the cashier did nothing . anyways I received my food and was disappointed in the presentation, pictures will be attached. sub par strawberry hot honey cheesesteak but I will say the blueberry wings were good and if I didn't have a fear of waiting so long I would go back for the wings . Okayyyyyyy,,,,,,,after much anticipation, and after the initial crowd dwindled down, I finally got a chance to order and see what this place was all about. I ordered the chicken cheesesteak sandwich. My wife got a regular steak sandwich. My chicken cheesesteak sandwich was a nightmare. The chicken was cubed and not chopped or shredded. The amount of chicken was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy toooooo much. It overwhelmed the roll as most of it was just jammed on top of the roll and stuck to the wrapping paper which held it. When I unwrapped it, the chicken and cheese mixture just fell all over the place as it created a big f****ng mess. The cheese appeared to be the liquid artificial cheese they use to sell in cans back in the 80s called Cheese Whiz. It was horrible as it left a terrible aftertaste and required something strong to drink to eliminate. The green peppers and mushrooms were very few and appeared overcooked as they were slimy and rubbery, respectively. The ratio of ingredients were totally off as the cheese dominated the sandwich making the roll a soggy mess which caused it to separate at the bottom as the contents spilled out when I picked up the sandwich to eat it. The only good thing worth noting is the roll, which was fresh and toasted. My wife's steak sandwich was the same as my sandwich, minus the cheese. She said the meat was like eating cooked leather. We both ended up throwing the sandwiches away after forcing ourselves to take several bites. What a horrible experience. After eating some of it, I felt some kind of guilt.........like I had committed some kind of sin. My stomach was saying to me, "what in the hell are you doing to me"? I think I might need a drink at this point to dull the pain and erase the memory of such horror. Don't get me wrong, I really wanted to like this place. You see, I am a sandwich connoisseur and know a good chicken cheesesteak. I've had Jersey Mike's, Sabarro's and many Italian chicken cheesesteaks from Italian pizza joints from here to Philadelphia, and this by far is the worst. This was not money well spent as I threw away $40. The building's environment was not good. The floor is a botched-up concrete slab that really is a subfloor, but they are using it as a functional floor surface. There was no tile or carpet overly. The bathroom had an electrical socket, right above the sink, that was not protected with ground fault interruption circuitry (GFI) and did not have a protective cover-plate. The tables in the dining area were wobbly. This place has been open for maybe 2 weeks and it already looks worned down. I could go on and on but I'll stop here. I could be wrong, but see for yourself. I believe that this place will be out-of-business by the end of this year. read more

My order consisted of a regular cheesesteak with Cooper, sharp cheese and a regular panzerotti. The panzerotti was not cooked all the way through. It felt like chewing on raw dough. The price of the panzerotti is $9 which seems extreme. The cheesesteak was great the meat was seasoned and the cooper sharp was melted throughout.
