The food was really good and the bread was really soft. They server gave us free chips and ranch which were both incredible.

Had a great experience here. There is a drive through window and tables inside. They take the order in front, then stick it to a line and send it to the back. Very nostalgic to see. Friendly staff that seem to care about the customers. Get a rewards card if you are a frequent visitor. Lots of great choices besides cheesesteak. Clearly, I came for the cheesesteak and wasn't disappointed. Chopped and seasoned beautifully. Would definitely come back when I'm in Surfside or Myrtle Beach. read more

Cheesesteak Factory - Order at the counter - Cheesesteaks Near Me - Surfside Beach, South Carolina

Best. Fish fry. Ever. Every Friday and Saturday. The full size is more than one person can eat. Absolutely delicious!

I have frequented Cheesesteak Factory over the past several years and always had a positive experience. However, today's dinner was completely different. We waited an exorbitant amount of time for our 3 meals to arrive in a very slow Monday evening. The cashier had her arms folded and seemed annoyed to be there, the restaurant was filthy with sticky tables and a crumb laden floor. The face of the drink machine was laden with dried sticky soda and the condiments were empty. All while the cashier/ floor person struggled to stay awake and a young fry cook stood in the back with little to do. My advice to the new owners, close for a few days and DEEP CLEAN the entire restaurant! To include the windows (inside and out) along with the garbage cans and walls. No one working in a restaurant should be standing around idle. I truly hope that you can pull it together because the food we we eventually served was still exceptional... best wishes https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g54459-d571603-r1068299009-Cheesesteak_Factory-Surfside_Beach_South_Carolina.html# read more

Love the options. They even have our back home garbage plate from WNYS. The neat sauce is a little too spicy, and the dogs are better grilled, but they can do that if you ask I think. Good food read more

I'd been craving a Beef on Weck & this Cheesesteak Factory was recommended by a friend from New York. It did not meet my expectations. Instead of thinly sliced medium, rare roast beef, I got chopped up bits of steak on I'll have to admit, a good.Weck roll served with ajus & horseradish. The house made chips were god. I ordered the chili cheese fries and when I got home, I was disappointed to find that they had given me bacon cheese fries. The woman who took my order was very friendly. The dining area was small but clean just a step above a fast food dining room . read more

Great service, great Philly sandwiches and hoagies, and great fries and onion rings! Cannot recommend enough!

Fish plate always amazing. Cheese steak really good too. Only thing negative is I always have a tough time trying to call ahead. That's the reason for the 4. read more

We have been coming to the Cheesesteak factory for over 10 years now and they currently are making some of the best sandwiches they've ever made! It is by no means fine dining, but if you want a casual environment with good food, it is a great lunch spot while in Surfside! The owner/employees are always great and we will continue to visit everytime we are in town. read more

Cheesesteak Factory - The M.O.P. & pierogies - Cheesesteaks Near Me - Surfside Beach, South Carolina

The place is filthy. I cleaned tables to sit without leftovers from the previous customers. We thought with two hours to get to our actual destination would be sufficient, but it was not. Over an hour wait for two sandwiches and they got one completely wrong. It took another 18 minutes to bring the right sandwich, which was still wrong. I hate half and left to be on time for where we needed to be. This was our second try because the first wasn't a good experience. We decided to give another try because we all have bad days. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Supper good! Made to your liking! Super nice service. They have a following as well. About the same ...maybe better than DB's in Charleston SC. Close contender anyway. Makes ur mouth water. read more

Went to this establishment today, and was the only one in the place at 5:33 in the afternoon, and received my order at 6:15... Everyone who came and went with their orders as I sat there... The gentleman cooking started a almost physical fight with gentleman who was slicing the cheese... The two new girls up front who just started were treated like they were children, and when I told him I would never return to an establishment like this because of the argument that occurred while I was in there and because I was there over an hour waiting for food, he told me he wasn't the owner and he was trying his best to help me give me a $10 coupon to come back... I then asked for the owner number, I was provided someone number with the name of Dustin after he took 2 minutes to look in his phone for it... When leaving going around the building the two were almost in a physical altercation outside, they were screaming one pointing fingers and the other.. The girls inside just looked at me leaving saying they were sorry...If I could give this place a 0 i would read more

For a cheesesteak in South Carolina, it most certainly exceeds the expectation. The bread is legit and as close to Philly as you'll get. Good whiz to steak ratio. Good service and people too. It's our go-to lunch spot when we visit Surfside every year and will continue to be. Hits the spot after a morning on the beach! read more

This place was excellent way better than most of the places you eat in Myrtle beach. Philly and fries were excellent, customer service was excellent. The meat on wreck sandwich was also great maybe a little too much salt on the bun. 50 bucks for 3 people was great considering how good this plane was. Highly recommend. read more

BEST FISH SPECIAL AROUND! Awesome food and the owner is such a genuinely nice guy. Small, family owned and we love it!

Their Cheesesteak Philly and wings are fantastic. The best I have had since I've moved down here from NJ. The staff is very friendly. Small dining area, but clean. I highly recommend you try this place. read more

Food is really good. I've been to this spot a few times over the past couple of years and it's very reliable for a good lunch or dinner. My only "problem" is the price is a little high, I usually spend about 16-17 dollars for a full Philly and fries. The Phillies are always very loaded so it's usually a meal and a half for me. Come check it out! read more

Genuinely one of the best things we ate in all of Surfside. The pierogi appetizer was excellent and each of our cheesesteaks was spectacular. The house made chips are slightly salty but still excellent. The service was very good and the staff was extremely friendly. read more

Best fish & chips in town. Fri/Sat only. Unless you're really hungry, the 'junior' portion is plenty. Pleasant staff.

Great Rueben sandwich. The hot dog was awful. It was over cooked and the bun was dry. I'm willing to try them again.

Have all good things to say. Ordered cheese steaks to go. Didn't take long and sandwich were wrapped for take out and still hot when we got home. Have been to Cheesesteak Factory many times and several owners throughout the years. This night food was outstanding. Friday night they have a FISH FRY Special. Customer waiting showed us her meal. Serving of fish was hearty. Lots of FF. Friendly staff, good food. All good stuff. read more

I'll be back. Quick and fresh food, the owners are awesome people. Nothing but great things to say. I got the "Wolf" (I think) and it was huge. Fresh meat and the bread was noticeably high quality. They also use local sweet potato fries, perfect pair for a sandwich. read more

The staff was the best part, they were very pleasant. I wasn't impressed with the cheesesteak or the fries. The place needs a full cleaning; ceiling tiles are filthy and need replaced, and all surfaces need deep cleaned. I love a hole in the wall with great food, but unfortunately this place pushes the limit with just 'ok' food. The staff though...excellent! read more

I absolutely LOVE this place. No it's not Philadelphia, it's BETTER. I really hope they open up one in North Myrtle Beach. I miss the pepper bar but COVID-19 and dirty people ruined that. Honestly amazing staff and wonderful food. Will be back again. read more

These Cheesesteaks are legit and packed with meat too. I spent less than $30 on two large sandwiches, an order of fries, two drinks, and an order of fried pickles. In no means considered pricey in my book. I had mine with mushrooms, onions, and American cheese. I like them with the cheese wiz but, felt like American at the time - don't judge. I'd like to try their buffalo chicken one too but that's for another day. The place is pretty small. They have a walk up counter to order and a handful of booths and tables to sit at. There's a pepper bar where you can help yourself to adding all sorts of hots to your sub and if you're looking for something other than a cheesesteak (not sure why you'd do that) they have plenty of options as well. read more

The name cheesesteak caught our eye, but we ended up with gyros! They were big and tasty. Plus they give you sauce on the side, so you aren't hurting for any. The sauce was pretty frozen, which would have been a bummer if I wasn't eating the cheesesteak in a hotel room with a microwave. read more

Cheesesteak Factory - CSB. Chicken, steak, and bacon with yellow American cheese. With the famous ghost pepper sauce on the side. - Cheesesteaks Near Me - Surfside Beach, South Carolina

We stumbled across this place on vacation last year and really enjoyed our cheesesteaks - so much so that we made a special trip to have it again. It's a good little drive from North Myrtle Beach (~45 mins). It was not busy when we came this time so our orders were out super quick! My husband is a big fan of the "Meat & Cheese" with both American and cheese whiz. The housemade chips with ranch are awesome. This is a place we will definitely visit every time we are down on vacation! read more
