The sign caught my eye of course and I just had to stop in with my son since he loves sandwiches and starving. The location is quite small with only a few barstools if you wanted to sit. It is more of a to go place. We were greeted instantly and it smelled heavenly inside. Baked bread is a favorite smell of mine. The menu has some great options. I opted for the Cactus Jack and my son a roast beef sandwich. There were quite a few orders before us so we sat and waited. They have shirts, snacks and other items available for purchase. Prices were good for the size of the sandwiches. When our food was ready we took it outside and enjoyed some of it in the car before heading home. They also included a few pickle spears. Both sandwiches were delicious. My son said his was in the top three of best he's had. He's picky about that roast beef so that's a compliment. I'll definitely be back.

I cannot lie. I'm disappointed. I've driven by this place so many times and was glad to hear they were renovated and reopened so I could finally try it. The good things are the aesthetic and old school vibe. Also the employee who took our order was very nice. The downsides? It took quite some time for us to wait for our sandwiches, and ultimately they're just ok. The sub bread is sub par, the veggies were a bit sad (comparable to Subway levels), and my bacon is kinda meek and flabby on my Turkey club. I will always support local over chain, and even gladly pay more to do so. I'm hoping this is just new, growing pains that need to be worked out with practice, but for right now, there are so many other sandwich spots in the area I would rather go to. Also, where's the cheese? It's sorta in the sammies, but I expected more cheese items given the name?

The neon sign is back on!

My first time back since the new ownership. Place has been cleaned up and feels fresh but still has the retro vibe. Definitely feels more like a business now compared to before. I think the prices went up a bit but understandably. Then menu is still the same and they worked with the former owners to stay true to the original sandwiches. They added one to the menu. I had a meatball sandwich. I liked it. Overall place is upgraded. Seems nice. Oh yeah the retro neon sign is back on and they have an outside back patio and some tables outside the front of the store.

Cheese N Stuff is a small, indie deli on Central Avenue in .., you guessed it ... Central Phoenix. Parking is limited and seating is more limited, so if you intend to stop by, plan on a "to go" order. The moment I walked in, the staff was on the ready to take my order. I appreciate small business and patron them when I can. I opted for the Italian Special. For meats, it should have included ham, salami and mortadella, but mine was missing the mortadella. Nonetheless, it was good and I'd order it again. I also requested the Pasta Salad. The portion wasn't especially large, but fine for a side. Sadly, the lid was not secured and the dressing spilled through the paper bag and all over my passenger seat. The Brownie was fine, though slightly dry. I'd like to return to try the Dough Boy. Next time, I'll double check to ensure everything is included and properly sealed.

We'd driven by this place a bunch and finally decided to stop by. We knew very little about it and found out quickly that this is a carryout restaurant. There is one folding table that maybe could sit six in a pinch but when we stopped, it was half full of toys. Luckily for us, there were two spots available. We ordered two combos, the Italian and the Sicilian. Combos come with chips and a can of soda. Both sandwiches were good but realistically, Jimmy John's has more meat. But they cost a couple bucks more too. The people were nice and there were lots of carryouts while we were there. While good, I doubt we'll return. Oh, there's 30 minute parking so don't dawdle.

Heat up with some butter and brown sugar. It's heaven!!

This place was SOOO GOOD! Where else can you pickup Lefse and an amazing sandwich?! This is a small family owned spot with delicious homemade salads, sandwiches and desserts. The ladies running it were so friendly and helpful. There is so many options to choose from. We went with 2 turkey sandwiches, potato salad, pasta salad and a lefse to go. Everything on the sandwich was fresh and top quality. The potato salad and pasta salad were super flavorful as well. We will definitely be stopping in again soon to get our sandwich fix. Thank you!!

I have visited twice (so far!) and been thoroughly impressed. With my first visit, my bestie and I shared a two-person sized board with no meat, so maximum cheese. We were able to sample the cheeses before committing them to a spot on our board. The team at Shea Cheese paired our selections with other charcuterie items to make a perfect grazing board. We also spilt the turkey and brie sandwich. The sandwich was paired with the most delicious kettle chips as well. For my second visit, I went with the pizza grilled cheese (sans olives) and got a pimento cheese sandwich to go for my mother. We were both beyond pleased with our grub. Of note, right next door to Shea Cheese is Shea Lounge, which is a little bookstore and lounge to enjoy your cheesy items. I am beyond impressed by this spot and am already looking forward to my next visit.

The event was a visit to Proof Bakery to see how the dough is *literally* made before heading back to Shea Cheese for the tasting. It was also BYOB. Overall, we had a great time. The space was cute and intimate, and the tasting was plentiful. They did open up the shop after the event too, so we were able to buy some deli meats and a bottle of natty wine. Their food menu looked soooo yummy, I look forward to coming back for lunch and for another event. Shea Cheese is a small business, owned by a couple who ensured that the experience was awesome. I definitely recommend stopping by and checking out their cookbook collection too. My only critique for the tasting was that they included a pimento cheese, which they make, that has mayo in it. I personally would've preferred they added one of their more unique options instead as neither my mom or I ate that part of the board (mostly due to the mayo).

All freshly made in this little café, which is small but charming there is an outdoor patio with like four tables , but it's far too hot this summer to eat out there. For sure I'll be back in the fall out there with Luna enjoying this wonderful café. I was there with my daughter and what caught her eye was the muffaletta sandwich. A classic I couldn't get past the menu, grilled cheese sandwich, options, and asked the owner what was her favorite and recommendation. She immediately said the grilled cheese with birria and I think a Gouda cheese. We grabbed one of the booths and the sandwiches were out shortly. OMG, they both were unbelievable, but I had trouble keeping my daughter's hand off my plate. Honestly, this is one of the best grilled cheese I've ever had. And I consider myself a grilled cheese aficionado. Mingle & Graze is in a central downtown Chandler location, lots of parking out front.
