YUMMY! The Cheeky Monkey Oil is what Cheeky Monkey is known for and what has made them famous. It is the right amount of spicy for any palate to handle and it goes with literally EVERYTHING. One year I made my Thanksgiving Dinner Turkey using this and their pixie dust. In addition to this I have tried dozens of different recipes using their oil and pixie dust, all very good. I normally see them at the Rochester Public Market on Saturdays where they always are sampling something new where I get to try before I buy :) They also have several other foods they sell there. My favorite is their pickle pizza as weird as that may sound. Definitely give them a try if you are at the market or buy online knowing you'll be satisfied. read more

Amazing customer service and an even better product! Their spicy tomato garlic oil is unreal.

Product is great, but the people running this business are really incompetent. I ordered product in May of this year. It's now October and I haven't gotten anything. I contacted them several times (approx once a month) and was told it would ship "immediately." Needless to say, it never came. They didn't respond to my latest contact. They had no problem taking my money so now my only option is to dispute with my credit card company. Terrible. read more

DO NOT ORDER. Their hot sauce is fantastic, but ordering it is some sort of scam. A complete theft, really. I ordered $30 worth of products over a month ago and have received no shipment, no notifications, and no response to repeated calls, emails and Facebook messages. They were able to take my money, though. Unbelievable. I've never received worse service in my life. The repeated reviews you'll find here and on other review sites all seem to tell the same story, which I should have checked prior to ordering. A major regret. I'm guessing the business might be shut down? They will be soon, anyway. I'm filling out an Federal Trade Commission report as we speak. Someone needs to. A complete waste of money. Don't order here-- it's essentially throwing your money away. You can spend it elsewhere on something you'll actually receive. Tremendously disappointed. Fabulous!!! Great product...You could drink it. It's so good!! Bread meet Cheeky Monkey!!! I'm not sure why others are having issues. I have ordered this for 3 years online, in two different states. At least a dozen times...Never had a issue. I have had several friends order as well, never a issue. My mom orders. Never a problem. Comes with igloo ice packs. I even had a order that was short a few packs. I went to the website hit contact them...The next day I had a tracking number and my package soon after. With samples. Which was a bonus. Great company. Visited the Regional Market in Syracuse recently and purchased a product appropriately called "Better" from Cheeky Monkey Foods. I would describe it as butter only "Better", made with (special ingredient) Cheeky Monkey Pixie Dust. Used "Better" to top a beautiful piece of Cod, also purchased at the Market from Nancy's Seafood, and our family had one of the best seafood dinners ever! The combo with fish was amazing but I can imagine "better" would also work well with poultry or even could be used to make a warm garlic bread. It's a great product. The sauce to end all sauces. Such a great product and even better customer service. I had an issue with the half gallon leaking out maybe an eighth in transit due to rough postal handling and Stephen from cheeky monkey emailed me back within 30 mins and stated he would make it right. Well he did ten fold, within 3 business days I had a brand new half gallon of the best sauce in the world. Not only was this 8 times more than the amount of sauce I lost with the leakage but Stephen was kind enough to email many ways to use cheeky monkey on all types of foods. Love the product! Love the customer service! I tried the cheeky monkey sauce once at a winery at the finger lakes and fell in love! I bought a pack to take home with me but haven't been back to the area to buy more. Last week I ordered some more off their website and after doing a little research why I haven't received it in over a week...turns out the concierge at my apartment complex didn't log it into the system or refrigerate it (completely ignoring the bright neon sign on the package that says REFRIGERATE UPON ARRIVAL). I called to explain the situation and spoke to Steve who was so extremely friendly and didn't hesitate on offering to replace my order, even though it wasn't their fault. Don't order online, buy in store if you can find it. Product is delicious! The phone number is not working. They don't respond to emails. Did finally reach through Facebook Messenger, gave a son story how they are growing & can't keep up. They will never grow with that kind of customer service. Same experience as every other review here- placed order December 2017. No updates until March 2018 (after repeatedly contacting via phone, email, facebook, etc) when I was told my order would be shipped with a complimentary oil for the wait. This was not mailed until DECEMBER 2018 (365 days after initial purchase) at which point I had totally forgotten about my order. Stick to buying in person (I recommend CTB in Ithaca). read more

Their order confirmation does not come with tracking number so I don't know what's the status and they already took my payment. Very disappointed here. read more

I ordered $60 worth of hot sauce on January 11th. I waited for two weeks without any updates to my order so I started emailing them every now and then (I couldn't find their phone #). Then it became a month since I first ordered, so I called my bank and filed for a chargeback. But on the 1st of March, there was finally an update to my order and CheekyMonkey emailed me with a tracking number. I then checked the tracking status every couple of days, but the status was stuck at "pre-shipment" (it's Mar. 19th right now and it's still the same). Anyways, I got a mail today from my bank saying that the chargeback that I filed will be retracted because CheekyMonkey confirmed the order on their end and that I will be charged the $60. Luckily I was able to dispute the charge again, and they said they'll reopen the claim. But I'll have to wait longer and see how this claim will go. Anyways, save yourself from stress and don't order from here. PS: With the mail from my bank, I got the number of the company. I called it and as the other reviewer said it goes to a security company. TL;DR: 1) It's a scam. 2) Phony telephone number. 3) They don't respond to emails. 4) They'll try to make the purchase with the banks. 5) Your order won't come. read more

Although the sauce is delicious, I will say the ordering and shipping of this product has been a nightmare. We have been waiting over 3 weeks now to receive our order from Nov 11th. I placed an order back on 2/23 and never received a response, yet they immediately charged my card. After a month of waiting, I searched the internet and finally found a valid company email address monkey@cheekymonkeyfoods.com Apparently their excuse is that they experienced a severe bag defect during the Holiday season and they are backed up, yet I was reassured all back-orders would be shipped by Friday, March 16. Fast forward to April - still no delivery. Follow up email sent with no reply. End of April - another email sent and no reply. Sad to say I need to agree with the reviews written here. Same story. Order placed, and charged for, on January 1, 2018. Never received the order. I received one response from the company stating my order would be sent and compensated for. They stated there was an issue with packaging. NEVER RECEIVED THE ORDER. I have sent multiple messages, contacted on social media, etc. without any response. I, like the above individuals, will end up disputing the charge with my bank. DO NOT order from them. I first tried Cheeky Monkey Tomato Garlic Oil as part of a wine pairing, and it was so delicious that I had to take some home with me. Later, I placed an order from home and it took a solid six months to receive my order. I was understandably annoyed, until the company issued a statement of apology which essentially amounted to "We've had a terrible time with our usual package supplier and have had to switch suppliers." My oils have finally arrived, as delicious as ever, and I firmly believe the supply issue has been resolved. Even though I had a negative experience with this order, I would order again. I would upgrade this review to a 5-star if customer service improves, which is my only complaint. read more

I made a purchase on 4/30 for 3 oils. My friend had purchased prior to this and that is how I heard about and tasted the product. They were really good, that I wanted to purchase myself and try all 3 flavors they offer. I received an order confirmation and the money was taken from my paypal account within a day. 2 weeks later, I never received the product so I had emailed them, and no response. I then tried to call them but every number I had found was either disconnected or a different company. I then emailed them again and got nothing. I filed a dispute with both my bank and paypal. I had a credit on my account for paypal which was used in addition to my credit card. I was unable to get my credit back from paypal so this company got away with some of the funds for a product that was NEVER delivered to me. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!! read more
