    Egg drop soup cabbage based

So on travel with work again I came across this restaurant in the very small town of Lake Odessa. This has a small cozy town feeling with a mixed oriental menu, I ended up with T9 (Thai)Spicy Szechuan House style(Chicken,Beef, Shrimp) which is mixed vegetables and a spicy coconut milk sauce. The service was good even through the lunch rush, that menu came with a egg drop soup which was a bit salty for me. It wasnt what I was expecting but was good for being a cabbage based soup. The tea was warming and comforting for a cold day around the lake. Would I come back again? Sure :) always good to support the local businesses.

We stopped for a snack of Crab Langoons (yes this is spelled correctly!) and an eggroll. These fried items were light and tasty and the Crab Langoon had green onions that seems to add a nice taste. My wife had the eggroll that she enjoyed. The server seemed a little rushed but was efficient. We will likely come back for a full meal when we are back this way again.

Our new go-to Chinese spot!!…read more This spot is off the beaten path but worth the extra to stop in and try!! Our pupper's groomer is in this plaza complex and so we recently took notice and are so glad we did! On our first visit I didn't think to get pictures but it was a fun visit with a great introduction to the amazingly unique foods they offer at Z&W! This restaurant offers many of the what they call "old fashioned meals" on their menu - orange chicken, sesame chicken, sweet and sour, etc... but they also offer an "Authentic Sichuan menu"! During the first visit we had no idea what to get so we asked our waiter for suggestions and guidance! We wanted to try something off of the authentic menu but had no idea what to choose! He was terrific in helping us understand what was popular and what things we might like! There is also a book on each table with pictures of the each of the menu items! AMAZING IDEA!!! We ended up ordering the Dry Chili Beef and the Kingpao Sichuan chicken. Both were delicious but VERY spicy! For me personally, next time I go with a spicy dish (it was indicated as spicy on the menu, the waiter did explain) I need to ask them to tone down the spice level for my palate! Each of the authentic menu items comes with white rice, fried rice is available for an additional cost. These items do not include a side. The star of the visit was the appetizer of crab meat rangoons! WHOA!!! They are huge and fresh and SO stinking tasty! Ours came out so hot that the fresh, crispy shell burned my lip a little bit - but in a good way! I can't remember the last time I had Chinese food that was SO fresh!! Definitely consider ordering the rangoons!! Our second visit we decided to try the old fashioned menu - we ordered the orange chicken and the General Tao's chicken. These dishes come with rice AND a side! If you choose rangoons for the side you get TWO!!! Totally my choice as I already knew from my first visit that they were next level!! My husband ordered the egg roll which was actually crazy delicious!! It's a difficult decision! You can also choose soup in place of either of those options! We added a side of hot and sour soup to share which tasted very authentic and delicious! This spot is so cute and the staff is SO very friendly with warm, welcoming service! This is definitely a great place to grab lunch or dinner and we can't wait to get back to try out more of their highly delectable menu items!
