Not terribly on you unusual. The Tom Kha soup was sweet enough to overshadow the primary ingredient, the coconut milk. This is one of my staples, and this was the first time mostly I got was sweet. Instead, this seemed to have some sort of glucose sauce. No bueno. There also seem to be far less ingredients in this execution, resulting in a plate of noodles, fresh shrimp, ground peanuts, and a couple lime wedges. No sprouts for crunch. Nor anything else to round out a very basic preparation. Despite the award, this did not seem like a very happy interpretation of some really wonderful Thai dishes.
