HARD MASKED POTATOES and COLD SALTY CHICKEN AND GRAVY ON A STEAMING HOT PLATE THAT HAD BEEN MICROWAVED!
    Steven B.

Food was absolutely disgusting; I actually threw up when we arrived back at our Hotel. Ordered the "Trio Sampler" to share with my wife. Fries were cold with some sort of hot cheese poured on top of them. "Cheese Bites" were greasy like they had been sitting around and reheated, the spinach dip was the only thing that tasted great but the bowl full of chips and pieces of Tortias you could not even use to scoop like they came out of the bottom of a bag! The "Double Fried Chicken" we shared, In pics below! YUCK! That is what I think literally made me vomit when we got back to our Hotel. One bite, gravy was cold, Mashed potatoes were hard in a lump, gravy on chicken was cold and salty, like ridiculously salty and the chicken was the exact same way! Oh it was hot, so was the plate it was on from being MICROWAVED and one bite was absolutely disgusting! Our server did ok, not very personable, Xaviah S., but very attentive. She ask us if we wanted a box for our leftovers, we said just for the trio, you can take the chicken and mashed potatoes back to the kitchen, so she did. When she came back, I told her the chicken was disgusting, that I was sorry, didn't want to complain, she simply said that's ok, here is a box for the leftover trio stuff, sorry you didn't like the chicken. Nothing else like do you want to see a Manager or do you want me to take it off your bill, absolutely nothing like it is the norm there! First time at CHEDDARS and absolutely the last!! The ambiance was nice, about the same as any chain!

Came for Sunday lunch and the wait time was roughly 5-10 minutes. Service was excellent and the food was tasty especially the spinach dip and croissants. Prices are also affordable as well.

Always friendly staff!! The environment is always professional. The food has always being delicious and the portions are very filling! I highly recommend the country fried steak with country gravy! They have the best butter croissants you will ever try. I would highly recommend visiting because you will undoubtedly want to visit again.

We went here last night for my husband's birthday dinner. The food was amazing, our server was delightful. The restaurant itself was beautiful and very clean. Definitely recommend!!

Inside of salt shaker. Damp salt. Unable to remove cap from second clogged shaker.

Service was excellent. Casey was our server. The entrees were very tasty, however the honey drizzled croissants were under baked, and the salt shakers (2), on the table, were not only caked up with damp salt, the caps were rusty upon opening the shaker to inspect contents. The salt inside was also brown, dirty, damp. I sent back the croissants, informing our server of the quality. I took photos of the gross salt dispenser. Manager was not available. I will not be returning, questioning the food at this point, however, this day, the salad and Buffalo wrap was very good. Restaurant was not very busy, unlike my past visits. Cleanliness was concerning.

The croissants are the BEST thing ever!

The croissants are the best thing they have on the menu. The cheese curds are my second favorite. The only reason for the 4 stars is because the breading on the country fried steak did not stick, it fell right off. Service was great!

Never again. It was a Monday night, about two hours prior to closing. The bar had 5-7 people enjoying drinks and watching the football game. The hostess sat us in the bar area, next to a family dining in pajamas with fuzzy slippers and two toddlers and an infant. I knew it was going to go downhill from there. We were absolutely FREEZING. My teeth were chattering and my nine and 16-year-old were literally shaking. We asked the waitress if we could move, she consulted with the hostess and they said the entire restaurant would be freezing, no matter where we sat, because the AC had recently been fixed and "they fixed it too good." We should have just left, but it was late and I had a long day at work. Completely out of the restaurants control, but the family with all of the kids were SO loud. I'm all about enjoying a night out with the family, but the cackling and the hollering and then the toddlers and infant screaming randomly and crying the entire time off and on was just too much. The teenagers they had with them were running around the bar area in pajamas. Wonderful. Cheddar's provides you with three complimentary croissants. We ordered three more and our six croissants came to the table ice cold with barely any of the glaze everyone loves so much. We ordered the spinach dip appetizer. It took about twenty minutes to come to the table, also ICE COLD. So gross. The chips were unusually thick and STALE. At this point I was kicking myself for not leaving the minute we were told we had to endure ice cold AC blowing on us for our entire visit. Our food came just a couple of minutes after our appetizer, surprise... not really. My chicken tenders were okay, kind of rubbery. My fries were, as almost everything was, COLD. They were also stale tasting, as if they either sat out way too long, not under a heat lamp, or they had been made WAY earlier and not even reheated. The mayonnaise in the coleslaw tasted funny, either rancid or it was Miracle Whip. I hated my meal. Period. My sixteen-year-old ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and fries. All of it was ice cold. She will eat just about anything and she couldn't eat it. We asked for a box for hers. She said she would heat it up at home and add hot sauce and it seemed they didn't even coat the chicken tenders in Buffalo sauce judging for the two bites she took. My 9-year-old ordered a grilled cheese and corn on the cob. She ate it and had no complaints. The ONLY good part of our experience on this night was that our waitress was super friendly and kept the refills coming on our drinks. We will not be back, there are too many options in the area to ever endure ice cold, unseasoned food and to have to shiver while trying to eat the edible parts.

Walking in as soon as they open to a dirty bar (the chairs as well) is never a good sign

I really want to give them more stars but I can't fabricate the Luke warm experience. I walked in 10 minutes after they opened and was greeted by a dirty bar (the seats, bar top and floor), and not just a little messy but crumbs and food debris all over the place. I had to wipe my chair and the countertop down. Clearly they didn't close the way the were supposed to and that's sad. The bartender was running behind setting up but I understand that things happen in real life. I ordered the Texas Margarita with the strawberry swirl frozen, The Maui Margarita (which was my favorite for the flavor alone), the buffalo shrimp appetizer (sauce on the side) and the kids chicken tenders meal. The drinks were the highlight of my experience and the shrimp was good as well, but the chicken tenders (which is sadly supposed to be the star of their menu) were so salty that I couldn't even eat them and if I would've tasted them there I would've sent them back and talked to the manager. I will say that I love their prices (way cheaper than I thought it would be). I would definitely come back for the drinks alone but I probably wouldn't order food.

Cheddars is Cheddars no matter where you go. Our favorite Cheddars in Tucson is the same as our Lexington KY & Bloomington, IN ones and just like here. All of them are great! My favorite Cornmeal White Fish Platter was excellent as always. The Red Beans & Rice side was perfect as always. She got her usual Bourbon Glazed Grilled Salmon with a Loaded Baked Potato and the Red Beans & Rice. It was so good she ate too much. The girls ordered the Chicken Tenders and Fries. They both finished half an adult sized portion and were well satisfied. The restrooms were very clean and pleasant smelling as usual. We love going to any Cheddars because we know what we will be getting food quality wise with good customer service a a clean restaurant.

How can a restaurant with the best onion rings just do away with them. The rest of the menu is not the same either.

Every dish we tried was delicious, and it's easily some of the best Ethiopian food I've had. That said, be prepared to take your time. The ordering and food preparation process is very slow, and during our visit the "servers" were literal children. We ended up spending close to two hours there, with most of that time waiting for the food to come out. If you're in a rush, this probably isn't the spot. But if you're willing to slow down and enjoy a relaxed, unhurried meal, the quality of the food makes the wait worthwhile. I'd absolutely come back, just with patience and no tight schedule.

I also added the cheesecake sambusa. Everything was outstanding. The watermelon fries were such a refreshing start. The beef tibs were deeply flavorful and tender. Each of the sides had such great flavor profiles! I first tried Ethiopian food about 12 years ago at a place in Portland, Oregon, and I've been wanting it again ever since. When I saw this restaurant open here in Valdosta, I was genuinely excited to finally have it again -- and now I wish I had gone sooner because I've clearly been missing out. Even as a pickup order, the service stood out the staff was personable and inviting. Everything was carefully packed, warm, and clearly made with care. And the cheesecake sambusa? Unreal, the perfect way to finish the meal. I can't wait to go back and make this a regular spot for my family and me.

Let me start with the good: this place looks like it knows what it's doing. The ambiance is simple,…read moretasteful, and well-designed--perfect for a cute dinner out. We were greeted with a smile the second we walked in, and our server was friendly and attentive the whole time. A+ for vibes and service. Now, the food... oof. We started with the appetizer special of the night, which, shockingly, was the best thing we had--and it was aggressively mid. Everything that followed? Two thumbs down. The peas I ordered as a side; I swear were marinated in red onion slivers for several decades. Even after picking out all the visible onion, (as shown in pictures) it still tasted like Shrek's bathwater. If I had ordered this on a first date, I would've just gone home to save us both the trauma of onion breath. There's no way a single person has ever eaten this dish and said, "Wow, that was delightful." I'd actually pay money to see the facial expressions of anyone taking a bite. My partner's mashed potatoes? So dry and dense I could've thrown them at a wall and they'd stick. Come back the next morning and they'd be holding up drywall. Not a single drop of moisture in sight. I asked for crushed red pepper for my flatbread (thinking maybe it could be saved). No - No pepper flakes. Apparently none of their flatbreads are allowed joy or spice. Even if they did have red pepper, I don't think it would've saved it. Best thing we had all night? My partner's chicken. And even that was dry. So, that says a lot. Final verdict: come here for a drink and a snack before going somewhere else for the actual meal. It's a great pregame spot, but if you're hungry-hungry, keep walking.
