Came here on April 14 at 7:30 pm. I was seated immediately for a party of 4. Got a booth and let me tell you I was excited to try this place. My excitement turned into disappointment quickly. The croissant bread that was served was okay. Nothing special about it. It was heavy on the glaze. Our table ordered 4 pain killers - the drink doesn't live up to the name. I hated the booths...they move every time the person behind moved. Just imagine eating and your back booth rest moves drastically because someone is getting up. The food was nothing special. Nothing I couldn't get elsewhere. The service was just horrible. The server scuffed when asked to remove croutons from my friend's salad. Apparently this restaurant doesn't teach what gluten free means. Not only was there an issue with explaining how gluten impacts individuals, I had to ask 2x for my salad dressing. I received my salad but not my dressing. My other friend received her mashed potatoes with no gravy...had to again. I got up and looked around and saw the tables were not filled up. So I was confused on why our server couldn't remember our orders or why her service was below average. Then the manager came over to explain to us when we were half way finished with our food to let us know the baked potato ordered is out. And the way he explained it, everything made sense. I honestly don't know why I (we) don't come here more often! When you're looking for some good comfort food, Cheddar's does not disappoint. I had the crispy chicken tenders and it was so delicious! Just Add the broccoli mac n cheese, some fries, a big appetite--yum! My hubby had the grilled chicken and something else. I honestly didn't look up much from my plate, but I didn't hear him complaining. This is probably why I didn't get pictures. In addition to that, we had a couple of adult beverages that didn't cost us a small fortune. So I was really pleased. Oh, and the service--exceptional. Long time Yelp... So my Father-in-law got me a $50 gift card to Cheddars and let me tell you, IT WAS THE BEST GIFT! And as you will see, I took zero good pics because once plates hit, they were destroyed It was understandably not that busy so my party of 5 was able to secure a large corner booth and I could not have been more happy or comfortable (see photo ). Our server Ruben was great! Big smile (behind his mask of course) and sweet with the kids. We were greeted with a free plate of Butter Croissants...OMG, these are a must! Everyone we'll be excited for whats next ayer these! Was served by a very nice waitress who brought us all our appetizers including the free sweet bread rolls that are absolutely delicious. After a long day out we were missing a long time favorite Cheddar's so my wife and I decided to make a stop to the one nearest our home and along the way! First time on a busy Saturday afternoon and it was only 4pm. We were seated pretty quick despite how busy it looked. Our hostess was very attentive assured our needs were met. Now for the food, my wife ordered the Buffalo chicken strips pretty good, crispy and little kick of heat paired well with ranch. Now for my entree, I ordered the 6oz Top Sirloin well done and coconut shrimp with baked potato loaded and corn as my side. Ate here with my elderly parents today. We usually do take out from here, but in this case my Mom wanted to dine in as she wanted her food warm, freshly served and on a plate. We walked in and asked for a booth. The host took us to a table which seemed small. In the same area we were seated, there were three open booths. I asked the host about the open booths and he said there were no servers for those booths available, so we sat at the awkward center small table. A few minutes later the three booths around us were seated with walk in people. This was a load of sh*t. The food was ok. Service was ok, our waiter was good. You know what they say, if there a lot of cars, it must be good right? IMO, this particular location is always a circus. It's always super packed. Long wait times. The parking lot is small. Cheddars cheeseburgers are the best bargain in America! Ranging in price from $8.59 to $10.49 it includes one side and a sweet roll. However, this is not your ordinary fast food cheeseburger. For one the ground beef is fresh, not frozen. You also get your choice of two cheeses, green leaf lettuce (not the ordinary iceberg variety), fresh tomatoes, onions, pickles, all on a hearty bun for $8.59. Cheddars recommends medium well or well done only, because the bun cannot handle rare, medium rare, or medium. The juices will just overpower the burger and you will end up with a soggy mess. I went out to lunch at this location on a Saturday and still got seated right away, which was nice. I was greeted with honey-butter croissants right away, soooo yummy! Perfectly light and crispy. I joined the Cheddars e-club (previous to this visit-takes about 24 hours to redeem) and redeemed my free queso and homemade salsa with chips. Super delicious! I shared the potato soup with my girlfriend, absolutely scrumptious. I ordered the steak and chicken tenders, both cooked perfectly, but not the best quality. Last night we had a party of about 15-18 people and the way we got treated by our first waitress was ridiculous being a mixed family . I got my food last and it was cold . The waitress had a nasty attitude and didn't refer tomorrow us as them and they . Then out of her mouth she had an attitude and said " are yall done ordering or needing anything else because I talk back and I don't have time for this ". If you can't handle a high traffic place you should not be working there . Her attitude was nasty . The second waitress I got my food last and it was cold . The waitress admitted that my food had been sitting there for a while so I asked her to get them remade . Still didn't come back hot enough so I said screw it because we already waited over 2 hours for a table and at that point I was upset . We reserved a table at 730 and didn't get seated until about 915 almost 10 . All the Mexicans at my table got served first . I will never go back to this restaurant again the customer service sucked and the attitudes on the staff there was horrible . read more

It was strange. We cleaned them ourselves. The service was good. Not great but not bad. We ordered some Cheddars favorites : cheddar bites, croissants, chicken strips and a Monte Cristo sandwich. The food was the same as the service: not great but not bad. One person in our party is vegetarian and ordered the veggie plate with potato soup. The server asked if we wanted bacon; we stated no bacon. That's noteworthy because upon bringing the soup to our table, the server informed us that the soup is made with bacon. So although no extra bacon was put on top, there is bacon in the soup. This really should have been mentioned upon ordered especially since we specifically stated that we did not want bacon in the soup. We were not offered a refund or any other menu options. The server did not return to refill our water nor did he ask us if we needed the check. This restaurant has one other electronic pseudo-mini-kiosk self service things so we used that to pay our bill. We walked in at the right time because it started filling right after we arrived. Must say that the most disappointing part of this trip so far is All The Road Construction. We ordered the appetizers of onion rings, honey croissants. The onion rings and the croissants are must to have and order. I ordered for my appetizer dessert. Why you ask? New vegetarian upate - they have a vegetable plate on the menu that includes a house salad with FOUR choices of sides. I recommend the house salad with the dry baked potato, black beans (with pico de gallo), green beans, and steamed broccoli. I dump my black beans on the tater and it is awesome. VERY filling. I'm pretty disappointed in my trip to Cheddar's tonight. I feel like their B or C team was in charge tonight. I was on a date. My date's house salad (ordered with blue cheese) came out with sour cream. It took the waiter about 8 minutes to check on us after the he brought out the salad. He apologized for the sour cream, and said they are right next to each other in the back. The blue cheese he brought out was so chunky, it was barely salad dressing. I ordered a Monty Cristo with fries. The plate was brought out without the raspberry preserves. I had to wait about five minutes to ask him to bring it out. The sandwich wasn't dusted with the powdered sugar, so it didn't have that sweet/tart balance that is characteristic of this sandwich. Insult to injury: it was 9:00PM and they were out of croissants. Never been to a Cheddar's before, but It was nice to be sat right away, and not have a wait. I would have to say the service was excellent. We had the buttered honey bread complementary, ordered the Wisconsin Cheese Bites, where were really good. Burbon glazed Salmon, with Rice. Which was excellent, and a side of Green Beans and Loaded Baked Potato. My only few take aways were, The loaded baked potato is just cheese, there was no sour cream or bacon bits, the restaurant was too cold, and the food runner was eating while dropping off our food, chewing on what i would think was a wisconsin cheese curd he took off the plate, but I dont know for sure, just assuming. We got their spinach dip as an appetizer which was tasty, but the red sauce was not tasty. I ordered their chicken strips, which were perfectly crispy. My grandparents had their chicken fried chicken dinner and their chicken Alfredo, which had me envious. The chicken fried chicken was the best tasting out of the four dishes. There was so much on the menu that looked delicious and amazing. My lady chose the 14 Oz Rib eye with 2 sides and I had the half rack of ribs and upgraded to a 8 Oz Steak with 2 sides. The ribs were "fall of the bone" But they were way over seasoned with black pepper rub. Totally ruined the flavor for me. I brought it to the waiters attention and asked if I could send it back and get another small steak in its place. His response was "well I'll have to charge you for the steak. We showed up during the busy dinner hours knowing it was going to be about 1-2 hour wait for a party of seven so when checked in with the hostess, Erin, she saw my concern and frustration and helped me by seating us quickly because there was a party cancellation. She easily could've separated those tables and sat other parties but she went above and beyond by just simply making a customers night.
