9 of us had dinner at Cheddar's on Nov. 17,2018. We had a horrible experience. My chicken was not cooked thoroughly (hence returned). An incorrect meal didn't get corrected prior to our needing to leave the restaurant. Our waiter was sent home before he could finish his shift. (He was excellent!) Throughout all of this the manager never came to our table to explain things or to check on us. In the restaraunt business the manager needs to demonstrate how important the customers are. Review overall grade is low. It was quite obvious this is a new establishment filled with college kids trying to pay off student loans. Was a very long 40 minute wait to be seated and not very much room to wait in. Walking up to our table the floor was kinda slimy. Not sure what had spilled but it wasn't cleaned up very well. We had a party of 5 so we got a long booth. Waitress came and took our drink and appetizer orders right away. Apparently there's only 1 bar area so it took an extra 5 minutes to get my drink which was a blue tiki something. Not even sure what it was called but totally not worth the money I paid for it. Ok I understand everything is made from scratch and takes time to make but the timing on our appetizers Vs. when our actual meal was served was horrible. Usually there's a nice pause in between those with time to talk and let the food settle a little before dinner. Our food came about 5 minutes after. I'm a big eater and ordered the philly cheese steak and should have killed this thing but since my appetizers were still sitting in my chest I couldn't finish the sandwich. The food here is really good and I hate to taint the review because of it but overall I just can't give more then 3 stars. I spent quite a bit of money and expected a little better service and experience. I'm really hoping to go back and be able to give a better review next time. read more

I only give this one star because the food was good but the service was absolutely horrible! If i could give it zero stars I would. The wait for the table was not that long but once we were seated we waited 10 minutes to even get water. We even had to stop a random waitress because we didn't know who our own waitress was. My mom ordered the maple bacon chicken sandwich and had asked the waitress what cheese they had she looked at her and just said I have no idea. The waitress never came and refilled waters, never checked on us at all. Really disappointed in the service and I will never be returning. read more

Loved it! We will definitely be back! Don't be nervous about how fancy it looks, the prices are very inexpensive. And they had healthy food!!! It's so hard to find a good place with good healthy food. But don't worry it's not all healthy. I had they whitefish with ginger rice and a salad and it was only $7.79! Every single thing I have ordered from here has been great!!! The croissants are the best I've ever had in my life by far!!! Fish tacos came with two huge portions of fish had enough for the two tacos and it was like I ordered two more sides of fish. Chicken strips are stupid good and love the homemade honey mustard. For real check this place out. I'm usually not the most thrilled when I done out ether from portion size or taste this place I eat at once a week. Seriously check it out!!! We've been to this Cheddars 4 times in the past 6 months. First time was great. Last 3 times, not so much. Ordered onion ring appetizer and 2 of the 3 times we didn't get them because they brought them after we got our meal, which was a long wait. Last time we were there we ordered onion rings again and they came back to tell us they were out of onions. We left!! Probably one of their most popular items and they were OUT. Too bad because we really liked the food there but service is poor. Great ambiance and very clean. A bit of a drive of a drive for me but it is well worth it!!! My go-to is the country fried chicken w/mashed potatoes and green beans. The food is decent. The prices are reasonable and the in-house service is okay. But don't try to order takeout. First of all, you will be transferred over to the bar where you will be put on hold or nobody will answer for a long time. If you ask me, that is too much to ask a busy bartender to do. DISSATISFIED - with their service on 9 30 2018. I went for a birthday dinner with my son and the service was AWFUL. For starters, the greeter tried to give us a boot/table to sit at that had not been cleaned - the floor was very dirty. The greeter took us somewhere else to sit and it was cold in that area - it felt like we were outside. We placed our order with the waiter and IT TOOK A VERY LONG TIME TO GET OUR FOOD!. When the food came - IT WAS NOT RIGHT! Someone else brought our food to us instead of the waiter who took our order. I had ordered a steak, MASH POTATOES, and BROCCOLI. They gave me a steak and GREEN BEANS! The person that brought us our food said, "it was going to be 20mins for the mashed potatoes to be ready." He asked if I wanted something else and I said, what about a baked potatoes and he said, "ok," I said, how long would that take and he said, "not long at all," so I waited for a LONG TIME to get the baked potatoes, croissant rolls, which was never brought out with the food that we had ordered, a glass of water and silverware (we had used the ones that were already on table). The waiter who took our order finally made it back to our table and we told him about the things that we had not got. He offered to make it right by going to get what we were waiting on. I told him that's alright about the food that I did not ever get with my order. When he finally brought the croissant rolls, water, and silverware, the food that was previously brought out to us had got cold. I was fed up, I asked to speak to a manager. I told him about the problem and he said, "I apologize - I will correct the problem," but I told him, no thank you. He said, "I will take care of that for you," I said, ok. First time going to Cheddars, the service from the wait staff was fine but the service from the host and manager were horrible. We were told it would be a few minutes because tables were being cleaned, even though there were open tables. The table we were seated looked like the dishes were just removed and nothing was wiped down. Talked to the manager and he acted like he didn't care. As for the food, I had the Cheddars' club sandwich. It was just okay. I had better clubs else where. Won't be going back. read more

One of the most remarkable places I've been to. The fact that the portions are HUGE, prices are so LOW, and the atmosphere is FINE DINNING, is amazing! From the moment you walk in, the fish tank draws you in. I hear so many people complain about waiting, but guess what, it's not a fast food drive threw. It's food that takes time to cook. My wife and I spend an hour each day talking and enjoying the atmosphere. The servers take great care of us, because we don't demand free food. I have been to Cheddar's twice. At first I hesitated figuring it was just another chain restaurant. Finally got around to going and was pleasantly surprised. The decor is outstanding with a southwest flavor, I understand they are headquartered in Dallas. The chicken and burger entrees were outstanding, as were the shot glass desserts. read more

Originally from Indiana, I had to make an impromptu trip to the Wisconsin border with my family. Initially disappointed with a 15-20 minute wait, we perked up a little when we were finally seated. The hungry, cranky kids needed a little more incentive though. Decent prices, and our waiter, a man who claimed he usually bartends, was amazing. Drink refills were brought to the table without even being required to ask, and his menu suggestions (spinach dip and an apple crisp dessert) were spot on. Everyone loved their meals (cheeseburger, key west chicken and shrimp, chicken fried chicken, and Alfredo), and the long drive home was much more tolerable. We made sure to note "great service" on the receipt with a nice tip! read more

BEWARE of waitresses taking it upon themselves to give themselves a little something extra at this restaurant! A waitress named "Briana" was my parents server on their Anniversary. They had their meal, signed the check and left the tip on the receipt. Apparently she didn't see the tip they left as sufficient enough and took it upon herself to reprint the receipt 11 minutes later, leaving herself over DOUBLE the tip she was originally given and then had the balls to FORGE my mothers signature!!! My mom noticed the difference because most people DO pay attention to their checkbooks. She has copies of both the falsified receipt with the phony signature and the receipt that she signed. Hey "Briana", here's an even bigger tip. Forging a person's signature is a criminal offense! This person needs to be held accountable and be fired immediately. Completely unacceptable! read more

GREAT and unexpected. Just left after celebrating my buddy's birthday. Totally impressed by everything about this restaurant! Great parking, great hosts, great clean restaurant, great food and the cherry on top, GREAT QUALITY FOOD FOR YOUR MONEY. We a very good meal here earlier tonight. We Waited awhile to get in but not bad for a Friday evening. The only negative is that this restaurant blocks wifi and phone service and doesn't offer customers an optional wifi connection. That is a big negative! My family was unable to reach me for over an hour. I don't mind not being able to text but not having phone service is ridiculous! Get on board in this century and give customers access to the outside world while dining at this location. Otherwise I would have given this a 5 star rating. read more

We have been here before and enjoyed our meals in the past. Tonight, the waitress was super nice and we ordered our dinners and dinner because we knew what we wanted. My husband order a seven and seven along with a glass of water. I order a beverage and combo chicken tenders and fried shrimp. About the time we should have gotten drinks, our waitress asked me if I had ordered chicken tenders and fried shrimp. My husband drink came but it looked flat, he tasted it and it was not what he ordered. He went up to the bar and asked for a seven and seven and told them what he was served wasn't what he ordered. Our meal came out and we tried the French fries and they were Luke warm, we told the person who brought our food that we would like fries that were hot and she said she would bring us fresh made fries. She came back with the fries and they were a little warmer but not hot. Our whole meal was lukewarm including the sides. Very disappointing that it wasn't up to par anymore. read more

I will not eat at this location again. When we got to our table, there were still water rings from the cups of the previous diners. Our silverware was dirty with dried food on it, and the bacon on the cheeseburger was so raw it was cold. For both incidents the waitress did not apologize, and when we politely asked to have the bacon removed from our tab she hesitated and said "uhhhh yeah I think." She never checked on us after food brought out, didnt have anyplace to put our rib bones other than the table??? Okay, this place is pretty fantastic. I've never had a rude or unfriendly server here. My most recent server, Taylor was her name if I remember correctly, was unbelievably friendly and just had the perfect routine down. Wasn't constantly annoying us but checked up on us the perfect amount, and WOW could actually hold a conversation! Very sweet girl. My husband and I were impressed because she seems to be very young. Food here is great, always fresh and plated beautifully. The restaurant inside is gorgeous, I don't know what it is but food must taste better when you're eating in a darker atmosphere. Cheese curds tasted like they were fried in salt and then salted !!! Bartenders were more interested in cleaning the fish tank then taking care of the customers They have 4 TVs in bar area and 2 of them have been on the direct tv logo for our entire stay.
