I don't know who the workers think they are in this place. This is the second time My family and I have been here and both time the waitresses seem like they have other important things to do. The first time we were there the waitress was in a hurry to get us out she came and dropped of the check without asking if we needed anything else... like refills which were never asked or dessert after the meal... which we wouldn't have got anyway, but it's the principality of the situation. The second time the waitress took forever in attending to our table, and once she got our order it was a fire and forget mentality from there until we paid. The customer service was ok, could've been better if we didn't have to wait so long for some of our drinks and food. First our server brought us the wrong drinks, but 5 minutes or so she realized it was wrong and fixed it. We ordered Chicken Quesadillas with a side of Queso but we waited about 15 minutes on the Queso and she brought it out with the chips and salsa. smh Frustrating but when our food came it was good so that saved the day. We decided last minute to change restaurants and go to Cheddars. It has always been wonderful until tonight! Our server walked past our table several times before greeting us and getting our drink order. It was at least 10 minutes before he stopped at the table. He brings our drinks and didn't know which drink went where! Our appetizer comes and the "free" beef in the queso looked and tasted like leftover taco meat! I ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich with a side salad. My sandwich arrives and we have to ask about my salad. He said it comes out of a different window that he would go get it. He returns with drinks (2 unsweetened teas and we ordered a sweet tea and a dr pepper)! The table next to us had a salad on the same rectangle plate as my sandwich with their entree.....but my salad never arrived. He started getting an attitude when we asked again about the salad and he asked if we just wanted him to take it off the bill! My sandwich was horrible! The mushrooms were whole, it had sliced cheese melted and the hot dog bun was hard! My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and there was so much batter that you could barely find the meat! Our waiter never once asked how the food was and if we needed anything. He also told us that he would bring more chips for our appetizer and those chips never arrived. I have waited tables and currently work in the service industry and we always tip a minimum of 20%. Tonight we didn't leave a tip and we have NEVER done that. We came in on Sunday afternoon around 130pm. I love cheddars so I was pretty disappointed today. While we were waiting for our table an older couple had been waiting well over their estimated time so they expressed their concerns and the taller dark haired male manager told them "trust me i know we have parties that have been here for over an hour waiting". My wife and I went to Cheddars today and we had a very good meal. I had the buffalo shrimp as appetizer and my wife had the Santa Fe spinach dip. Both appetizers were very tasty and I would surely have them both again, though the salsa was a little unique. I had the 8oz Salmon filet blackened with the broccoli cheese and the corn off the cob, my wife had the beer battered shrimp with the fries and cole slaw. The salmon was slightly over cooked and the shrimp was slightly under cooked but everything else was very good. The wait staff was overworked but very polite and a pleasure to deal with. Seating: I do not understand why you would seat a party of six with a toddler and an infant in the bar area. Service: The service was slow. We waited for over 30 minutes and I only ordered a salad. Our waitress never came by to refill our drinks after giving us our entrees. It was hard to track down our waitress at times. Food: The food was good. I enjoyed my BBQ Chicken Salad and the croissants melted in your mouth. My husband ordered the Jalapeño burger and I took a bite. It was definitely tasty. They have improved Our waitress was amazing tonight. She always made sure our drinks were full in a timely manner and stayed in a excellent mood. When we asked questions about the menu she was able to answer them without stumbling over the question or go check. The food was excellent as well. Their salads come with a croissant with honey butter on them. Which was amazing! And the onion rings mmmmm. I really liked cheddar club they had and the mac n cheese was very delicious. I've never been to a place this crowded on Saturday night. The greeters were very polite and our waitress Jaqueline was a sweetheart. For it to be as crowded as it was, she did a good job. The strawberry lemonade is amazing. Although I did try to eat one of the strawberries from the glass and all I tasted we sugar. The food was great as well. We had a pleasant lunch here. We started out with the chips and queso appetizer. The chips were crisp and fresh. The salsa had a "watered down" consistency and flavor to it. The queso was pretty delicious though and had a nice serving of taco beef. We both enjoyed our sandwiches. My mother had the burger which she said was great. I had the philly cheesesteak which absolutely tasty. The portions were very generous. The major complaint here was that both our fry sides were overcooked (had a slight bitter flavor) and cold which meant that they sat out for a while. Haven't been here for awhile, n had better service before. My friend and I came for lunch at 1200 noon and it wasn't even that crowded yet, but our service was very slow. Our server came frequently before we ordered or food but later on she just disappeared!!!! Anyways, it took forever to get our food out and our order wasn't even complicated. My ribeye was okay, a little dry and my food was barely warm, I guess it was sitting on the counter for a few minutes. Caesar salad wasn't fresh, the lettuce was kinda wilted, so I really didn't eat it except for the croissant role. Broccoli cheese casserole was okay. My friend ordered her half a rack of ribs with the fried shrimps and a side of corn. It tasted alright she stated. But what trip is out is that we only started eating for 5 minutes and our server came back and asked as if we wanted a to go box!!!! LOL, really? You took forever to serve our food and now you want us to leave???? LOL. That was funny!!! We took our time eating, and our server was gone again for awhile and didn't check on us.... Well the absolute best thing was the food! The timing of salads after the meal the lack of silverware are the table until after the food is sitting in front of us and waiting for drinks was a disappointment. The servers look to mainly be in their late teens to early 20s and lack the experience needed to keep up with the tables needs. I would attribute this to a management problem. Not particularly impressed with the food here. Service was nice considering we had 12 people. Of course the server was compensated properly with her tip. But the food was just very ordinary. I had the Cheddar Club with corn as the side. The sandwich itself was big and filling but the taste of the meat was very salty. When I saw turkey, I wasn't expecting sliced turkey that I'd get from the deli. Corn wasn't bad, wasn't good, it just was. I do not believe I'll be coming back. Visited on 9/12/20 at 5:00pm. Was seated very quickly and the service was decent. Food was great. The issue was cleanliness especially during a time of COVID. There were broken tortilla chips, food scraps, and straw wrappers littered beneath our table as we were seated. The hostess saw no issue with seating us at a table like this. Also crumbs on top of the table and 2 wet wipes that hadn't been used yet to wipe the table down. My family picked them up and used them to wipe down our own table. Completely disgusting but I tried to ignore it as I wanted to enjoy time with my family. I don't see how a manger could find this acceptable and allow this type of treatment in their restaurant. I hate to be typing this negative review but I've given this location chance after chance and it's always something...from bugs in my salad& drink to leaving a whole entree off my Togo order! I've even had food poisoning once from this location (ordering Togo). I ordered spinach dip with chips that day and cannot look at spinach dip without my stomach turning since then. TODAY, we dined in and my husband now has food poisoning from his burger...I don't know if their cooks/food handlers are cross contaminating or what, but I'm over it. The longest wait time has been 20 minutes but we had a party of 12. One side of the restaurant has a bar but I can not comment about it as I have never ordered a drink or sat in that area. Defer to other reviewers' comments. The dining area has multiple sections for small and large parties. In the center room is a large revolving fan to give a sensation of a comfortable dinner on a porch. For food, the restaurant offers extremely healthy options: fish, chicken, veggies, etc. After ordering, we receive the food immediately with no issues. We will return! read more

There's nothing on the menu that's not good, when I come here I usually get that coconut shrimp with a side of mashed potatoes and red beans & rice and it's the best way to go. I've tried the homemade pot pie, which was buttery and flakey as you could as for with all that good stuff inside. Another underrated item is the ribs they aren't fall of the bone but they will leave you satisfied. I went the other day and got great service from someone named Desire so thank ya. The only down part sometimes is the service from some of the staff. When my son first suggested this restaurant, because I was coming to visit him from Chicago I was not that excited. I wanted to go to Lobsterfest, but I was in his area and he was insistant so we headed too Cheddar's. I am so glad we did because the food was amazing. We each had different dishes, but I will start with mine the new bourbon glazed pork chop...Yummy! It was cooked to perfection and I did a happy dance in my chair with every bite. My order also came with fresh light and tasty onion rings as well as some delectable garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. I have to say this must be an area thing because the green beans were the only thing I didn't care for because they were flat and slightly overcooked for my liking. My grandaon had the chicken tenders which he insisted on calling big chicken nuggets(so cute) along with fries(so good). Even the ketchup is made from scratch. My daughter had the bacon burger and she said it was flavorful and delicious. My son had the ribs and steak let's just say he was the only one that didn't have a to go container. My daughter-in-law had the pasta...I can't remember the name of it but I did add it to my pictures...she loved her meal as well. Since, I'm from Chicago I use to drinks being upward to $14 dollars sometimes so imagine my pleasant surprise when my drink was only $4.49 and it was tasty. It wasn't as strong but a good doesn't necessarily have to be strong to sneak up on you so compliments to the bartender as well. We were all to stuffed for desert but I swear I hope I get to taste the mini slice of key lime pie before we head back home. I like the family friendly atmosphere. The cheddar bacon cheese fries are yummy! I had the Cajun style pasta with peppers, sausages, chicken and shrimp. It was a bit spicy but very tasty. Ordered a steak & chicken tenders dinner and a steak and shrimp dinner. Both steaks were to be cooked medium well. One steak was cooked well done and the other was medium rare and cold in the center. Sent the mid rare one back. After waiting 25 minutes for the recook, it was still bleeding all over the plate. Waitstaff was rude at best, manager did take care of the ticket but I left hungry because I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes and hope the steak was cooked properly. On the way out, manager was standing up front with several waitresses and telling them all about the issue right in front of all the customers waiting. The Front of House Manager was very kind and spent a bit welcoming us our first time as well as giving us tips for things to do in the area. Love this place and definitely worth the stop!
