    Honey butter croissant
    Andrea G.

Average. The food is decent but nothing to write home about. My favorite thing here are the honey butter croissants, honey mustard dipping sauce and the chicken tenders, when they aren't overly breaded. My kids love the spinach dip, the kids chicken tenders with fries and red beans and rice. I've had the ribs and they were just okay. My son enjoys the shrimp alfredo pasta, is enough for two meals. The carrot cake was again, just okay. Small slice but we all shared. Great ambiance and the staff is always friendly.

Have to say since going here NEVER had an issue, waitstaff was always great and the food was too, the reason for the 4 star is cuz this is the 1 time I have an issue, I think the chef had some jokes (see pic) the atmosphere in the restaurant always great will be back

BE AWARE CLARKSVILLE! So here's the story-as everyone here knows, it's pouring rain right now here, Saturday (4/5). Me and the wife decided to order take out since we didn't want to go in AND because we didn't feel like going somewhere where tipping would be part of the gig. We called our order in via phone and paid via the link they text you with. I paid using the link and there was never a mention of a tip, so I assumed they were doing the right thing and not charging a tip because, well tipping is for waiters and no one waited on us since it was take out...right? NOPE! Cheddars put in an automatic tip without my verbal, written, or otherwise consent. That, folks is called theft. Great food, zero ethical compass. Used to be one of my favorites, now,...not sure I'm ever going back.

I will say I did enjoy my experience here. Visitor from California. The service was top notch. The server was friendly and helpful, and the manager stopped by our table to check on us. My wife and I both ordered a pineapple coconut beverage that was really boozy and sweet. We had the Wisconsin cheese bite appetizer. I liked that. Served with ranch dressing. My wife ordered the chicken pot pie with a side of green beans. She enjoyed it but way too salty for her taste. The green beans just tasted odd. I tried one and we both agreed. She wished she had ordered a different side. I ordered the bone in ribeye with caesar salad and loaded baked potato. The steak was cooked medium well, some pink in the middle, I had ordered it medium rare. It was not far enough off that I said anything or asked for it to be redone. It tasted pretty good, but it was not as tender as I had hoped. The baked potato was just okay. It seemed like it was cooked a while ago and reheated. It lacked the moisture I would expect from a baked potato right out of the oven. The ceasar salad was a big hit. I waffled between giving 3 or 4 stars. The decor in the place is festive, and our experience with the staff was very good.

We eat at this location quite often for family diners due to location and good service. It was very obvious that our server was new, and while very polite, he was not trained very well. It also seemed that management did not have much experience, as the service for the entire restaurant was running very slow. We saw two tables leave before they had been acknowledged by a server. It was not very busy when we arrived, with many open tables, yet it took over an hour to get our food. One of our parties order was forgotten, another's entree salad was delivered without dressing. It took her about 10 minutes to get her dressing. Most of the food was overcooked or dry. We had to wait 30 minutes for drink refills after asking several times, and we never got more napkins after asking for them as well. Overall, a very disappointing visit.

Delivery was super convenient and the food was still hot! The food overall. was average, but maybe just not a cuisine for us. We ordered the 3-Piece Whiting Dinner (with Mac & Cheese and Potatoes), 2-Piece Catfish Dinner (with Mac & Cheese, Home Potatoes, and Hush Puppies), and 6-Piece Wings (with Mac & Cheese and Fries). We also received a complimentary container of the coleslaw. Luckily, I picked the catfish. It was the best part of the entire meal. Unanimous vote for 2 Thumbs Up on the catfish with its light and crispy outer breading. Even baby ate every bite offered him since the catfish seemed to melt in your mouth! So good. Best I've had that I can recall. I liked the hush puppies - 2nd place pick! For baby, he liked the Fries also. They were soft, so easy for him to eat! Sorry, no pics of anyone else's food since they all dig into theirs before I could even get to mine. I served baby his bowl of Mac & Cheese which he usually likes any and all pasta with any and all cheese. However, he took one bite of this one. Refused to eat anymore. Unanimous vote that it may have had an unidentifiable different flavor that we all were not crazy about. Was it a different kind of cheese? Was it mustard that made it so bright yellow-orange? We couldn't figure it out. Definitely a secret recipe. The wings were plain with sauces on the side. Hubby loves wings, but said these "were okay". I liked them dipped in the BBQ sauce. Hubby said they were basically a fried chicken wing that tasted average to him. I think he would have loved them doused in hot sauce, then dipped in the ranch. I'll have to order hot sauce next time. My dad had the whiting dinner and when I asked about it, all he could say was that it was "real fish". I took that as a win. He likes to eat fish on Fridays - every Friday! So, my hubby and I tried a piece for ourselves. We agree that it tasted very fishy! Lol. No wonder my dad liked it! Wish I got a photo of the liquidy and pinkish coleslaw before my hubby & Dad got to it. Hubs said it tasted like a salad which I thought was a good thing. Vinegar-based? I don't know really because I didn't taste it - since I dislike all coleslaw. My dad ate most of it since we told him it was part of his meal and he doesn't like to waste food. Plus, my dad eats all his veggies! Well, we gave it a try. Would we try it again? It was an adults' Yes ... 2 out of 3 votes. Prices are fair for the amount of food. Plus, it's free delivery on DoorDash (trial period). And, the catfish is worth going back for. Unanimous 4 votes for 2 Thumbs Up on the catfish! YUM! Wish I had ordered 2 of them (the 3-Piece Catfish Dinner) with more catfish on the side and fries! Ha. Next time, we can try to dine in or just order takeout/delivery, so I'll update this 3.5 stars review. (Rounded up. )

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by one of the sweetest hosts, who made us feel genuinely welcome. We had made a reservation, and our table was ready immediately, making for a smooth and stress-free start to our meal. I would highly recommend making a reservation at least a day in advance--two days if you're visiting on a weekend or during peak travel times. It was clear this place is popular, and for good reason. Our server, Cody, truly made the experience unforgettable. Hands down, he is the best server I've ever had anywhere. He took the time to thoroughly walk us through the menu, explain the daily specials, answer all of our questions, and offer recommendations based on what we were looking for. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality elevated our entire dining experience. We ordered the pancakes, omelets, and of course, the famous biscuits. The biscuits absolutely deserve the hype! They were warm, buttery, fluffy, and practically melted in your mouth. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and delicious, and the omelets were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. One thing I really appreciated is that while Loveless Cafe offers a supper menu in the evenings, breakfast is served all day. That's perfect for anyone like me who believes breakfast tastes good no matter what time it is! It's easy to see why Loveless Cafe has become such a Nashville staple. Between the warm Southern hospitality, outstanding service, and incredible food, this was an experience we'll be talking about long after breakfast. If you're visiting Nashville, or even if you're a local who hasn't been yet, put Loveless Cafe at the top of your list. The server couldn't have been nicer. He was even the one to suggest to us that he preferred the pork chops over the ham. That was such a good choice to me. Sadly, we didn't have coffee this morning because we had a long scenic drive and didn't want to make any more stops than necessary. But I bet he would've been right on the ball with those refills. The ambiance was great. It was such a nice layout and had interesting decor that made you feel you were a guest at their house. It also had that perfect occupancy where you could tell how popular they were but not so crowded you had to wait for a table. I'm definitely coming back here next time I'm in Tennessee because this place is a great find.

And at least 10 different types of burgers. I had the cowboy, made with Monterey Jack, bacon, sautéed onions, mushroom, lettuce, tomato, and pickle). Huge burger (I only ate half). The fries were hot and tasty. The burger arrived medium as I had ordered and the produce seemed fresh. The mushroom and onion flavors were lost somehow, and the burger could have used a little more seasoning, but overall solid for being local to Clarksville.
