Fat Shack has fully committed to the stoner aesthetic. The menu reads like someone raided a dispensary, got the munchies, and started yelling food ideas into a notebook. Loaded fries? Yep. Monster burgers? Absolutely. Fried everything? You bet. The menu is honestly fantastic. Unfortunately, the execution felt like everyone sampled the product before clocking in. Walked in on a Sunday at lunchtime and the place was emptier than my fridge after a teenage sleepover. Ordered immediately and wandered over to the soda machine. No ice. That's a bold strategy for a restaurant whose entire vibe is "we know you're thirsty." Then the wait began. They said 10 to 15 minutes. They delivered on that promise with the dedication of NASA launching a rover to Mars. Fifteen minutes in an empty restaurant is impressive. Even the DoorDash drivers had that look of, "Bro... I could've grown the potatoes by now." Food finally landed. The burger was actually pretty decent. Fried pickles were solid. The breaded fries wanted to be great, but some were cold and the fryer oil tasted like it had seen every presidential administration this decade. The staff wasn't rude. They also weren't awake enough to be considered enthusiastic. The whole restaurant had the energy of a group project where everyone assumed someone else was doing the work. That's really the story here. Death by a thousand little details. No ice. Slow food. Cold fries. Worn-out fryer oil. Dark dining room. Zero hospitality. I rarely ever leave a negative review. I don't know if I have ever left a negative one before. I had to on this one because of the absolute disgusting bathroom in this restaurant. My wife came out after I had already ordered and told me that there was no soap or paper towels and the bathroom was gross. Since we already paid at the counter we went ahead and got seated, and I was praying that the employees had a different bathroom and the kitchen was clean. I went to the men's room and it was no better. The urinal was taped up with plastic and the toilet was soiled. There was a plunger lying on the floor covered in dried up paper towels that were previously wet. A similar substance was around it on the dirty floor. The food was ok, a cheesesteak with a bunch of stuff in it, but I was just thinking maybe we should've just left or asked for a refund. After a few hours had passed I thanked God that I wasn't suffering from any symptoms. I do not recommend this establishment. read more

Was exited to try Fat Shack ! When you walk in your notice that the staff member for the day was wearing no bra, and sweatpants, and the tables were covered in something making it extremely sticky. After we ordered food, my fiancé went into the bathroom and immediately walked out stating that the toilets had a rim full of feces in the bathroom, and that the bathroom was extremely dirty. Very helpful and friendly staff. The food is what you would expect for a greasy food joint, but they do it right. We've tried their fat sandwiches and while they are overwhelming and tasty, we went simple this trip and stuck with a burger and a Philly with an order of mozzarella sticks. The burger was good sized and juicy with all the fixings. The Philly was good, but I did think it needed a little more cheese. However I will just order extra cheese next time. The cheese sticks were good but a little pricey for the size of the cheese sticks. Best burger in Clarksville, periodT. I am not even mad I waited in line for an hour and half for it either!! Their team is handling opening weekend like seasoned pros and the socially distanced second day of full service was impressive! Friendly, clean, nicely decorated, and great interaction with customers waiting in line. Kudos!!! Now, back to this burger :) It was FRESH, perfectly grilled, flavorful, and lovely presentation (there is nothing worse than a burger or sandwich that is just slapped together and falling apart before you can even touch it). They didn't have Oreo shakes because of vendor snafus, but the plain vanilla shake hit the spot! I may just get vanilla the next time just because it was so good - almost like perfectly melted soft serve ice cream :) Fries were good too - perfectly crisp, seasoned, and no obnoxious grease. I couldn't decide on just one thing, so I also got the Philly Cheesesteak, but honestly couldn't take one full bite after I devoured the burger and fries, haha. Finally got out here after all of the hype for some lunch. The gentleman behind the counter taking our order was pretty knowledgeable on the menu and very friendly. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with a side of fires and we added some fried pickles to start off. Pickles came out pretty quickly and were pretty good. The outside was crunchy and the pickle inside was still pretty crisp...overall, it was a tasty fried pickles spear. My Philly came out shortly afterwards...piping hot from the kitchen! It was a good sammich, not near an authentic Philly, but not many are. I felt the meat could have been seasoned a bit better though, I get it though, it's a franchise and they gotta stick with what they order. I liked the fries...they were super crispy and seemed to be as fresh as they could be without being fresh cut fries. The atmosphere of the place is pretty simple, nothing spectacular. The wall of fame is pretty cool though, but I wonder why they left THE Ashley Glotta (2017 OVC Volleyball Player of the Year) off of the wall...makes no sense to me. I ordered over $50 worth of food because .. well imma foodie! lol The Burger: delicious! Cooked with fresh meat and had a lot of flavor. The patties were perfect in size and the buns are brioche.. can't really complain about that it was amazing. All the produce was very fresh I wish I had of gotten the double or triple. The burger also comes with a special sauce The Doobie: a little salty but it was still really good, all of the fried foods they put together to make this combo works. It really is fattening but well worth the visit and wait in line. The food comes out relatively fast though. The tommy: another combination that went really well together bursting with flavors. Also they have more sauces on the menu so you can add an replace whatever is on the sandwich you do not want. The fried Oreos and fried twinkies were my favorite! I have always wanted to try these at a local fair but never got the opportunity to, they are really good and worth the calories you are going to get lol. Pretty decent burger I got the classic double patty. I think it is with fries 20 bucks and bacon added but it was tasty patties were thin a little dry for sure not worth 20 bucks. Drove past it a few times wanting to try it and finally did. The service was superb. There was even a shift change and we got greeted by the new rotation. We got one of their signature sandwiches and a burger, didn't wait that long and it hit the spot honestly. Can't eat like that every day but it does what it's supposed to. We've been meaning to try this place for a while so we stopped in for lunch today. I went back and forth between 3 and 4 stars but I chose 3 because of the pricing of everything, how long it took to get our food, and the quality of it. What I liked is that the girl working the front is super sweet, and the place is clean and quiet. I'll start with the pricing... IMO it's way over priced, just for example we got an order of cheese sticks (8) and they were like $7 and some change.. for $5 and some change I can get the same amount from sonic. It took us overall about 30 minutes to get our main food, when there was only one other couple in there besides us when we ordered. And what we ordered wasn't complicated.. we had a fat slob with fries, 6 traditional wings with fries and 2 drinks that you make yourself. We went back and placed another order halfway through eating for the cheese sticks and some deep fried Oreos and they had a few orders by then but it still took another 20 min to get those. The quality of the food is... ‍ the wings we ordered were supposed to be their lemon pepper dry rub. The wings were cooked plain first and then the lemon pepper was dumped on top like you would salt or pepper. Idk if you've ever had lemon pepper but it is STRONG so they were barely edible honestly. Idk if that was a mistake in the kitchen and they tried to halfway fix it or what. My husbands fat slob, he said was good but it looked horrible. The meat on it look like it came out of a can or something, and the sauce was all over the sandwich and the paper it was wrapped in, it didn't look appealing at all.
