Where the food fell flat was the boneless chicken tenders lunch special. They came out the color greige. Sauce was good, but chicken was a weird undercooked color as were the curly fries. SOOOO DISAPPOINTED!!! We placed an order for pick up and made it very simple. 10pc Boneless chicken with Hot for the sauce. Received no sauce on the chicken. Order 2 10pc wings. One all flats and other all drums with mild for the sauce. Received nothing on them. Side order of fries that came SUPER salty and had crazy amount of black pepper on it. Overall we had to trash it cause we couldn't eat it. I say all of this to say. That the service sucks here. You walk in to the building just for the workers to look at you crazy and keep talking to each other. Then when they decide to come to you. They all seem like they have a problem with hearing. Hint why people food comes out wrong or order ALWAYS missing something. You have 3 times to get are order wrong and this was the final straw. From dining in and picking up. Not sure why the star rating is so low... we are from San Diego visiting our son on the Base and decided to try the Hooters here on our last night. It was smaller than we are use to but the establishment is clean, sports were on everywhere, we were greeted with professionalism quickly and lead to our tables promptly. We came in Oct 24, around 8:15 ish at night and had a great experience, delicious nachos, fries and wings. Lately the wings I tasted at other Pizza and wing joints were always so salty but these wings were Perfect!! Thanks for the great dinner, service and experience Clarksville Hooters! Service is very unorganized, orders were wrong and took a good amount of time. Had two different servers and had to explain to both what the table needed. One person was told they could not order anymore drinks after 3 drinks but if they sat at the bar they could have ordered more. All the food was cold and our party had to ask the sever to clear the table of cups and plates since we had appetizer plates empty for a hot minute. I have have been coming here for years on my way to our family Cabin and now I've moved to Clarksville and have been coming here more often. This location is always clean and friendly with good service. The girls all have "great personalities" - it's not like the original in that sense (I'm from clearwater Florida) - but they don't miss a beat on quality of food. The original buffalo chicken sandwich is the best thing on the menu. Hands down. But you can't go wrong with most all Options- the fried pickles are a great starter. Their ranch is great! Sadly - Cocktails are measured and not free poured - and you can most certainly tell when drinking them. Beer is fresh and ice cold with a fresh glass. You can watch most all PPV events here without paying ! And it's a great location for all major sporting events. Greeted and attended very well. Hostess was very nice and friendly very pretty as will. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly too. To be honest all the girls were beautiful. Moreover I ordered the Traditional Buffalo Wings I got them HOT . I thought they were going to be spicy and they weren't at all. I had to get extra sauce that they had called Triple Dog Dare Sauce which supposedly the hottest of them all. And it wasn't either but it was tasty . Also the wings were delicious too. So disappointing. My husband and I came here after working in the rain all evening. We were so excited to eat here bc it's been forever. We walk in and the place is almost completely empty minus 3 people at the bar. We stand around for a minute and make eye contact with several servers; no one tries to acknowledge us or seat us. So we decide to sit in the bar assuming the host stand must be closed because it's 10pm. Every server in this place walks by us and looks at us at least 3 times. We sit and sit and sit and still no one acknowledges us. Finally my husband ask a man walking by if we could order with a server to be told in an extremely condescending way that he was going to "explain how they work". And proceeds to tell us that, "so this is how this works. You stand up front and we seat you. You don't seat yourself and expect service." Which we both understand as we have both worked in the service industry. But come on! We stood around waiting at 10pm and no one even tries to greet us or seat us but everyone sees us. You can hear them all making snide remarks about us at the kiosk. Then when we finally get some service we have to wait 40 minutes for wings. That's literally it. No sides, no cocktails, no apps. Just wings. Horrible service, massive attitudes, and mediocre food. We literally changed our order for sitting in to to-go bc our experience was just ruined. The girl who waited on us was sweet. But her tip was completely ruined because of how rude everyone else was. We came in prepared to tip large and left $5 instead(which was still too much in our opinion. So the first time I came here it was for dinner and it was packed. Food wasn't the best but I expected it because of how packed it was. However I came for lunch yesterday and it was a little slow, the food was AMAZING, the manager highly involved with the customers that were there and ensuring orders were correct (I could view him from the bar) and my order (which was complicated) was spot on. As a former Hooters girl of 6+ years, I was very upset and disappointed here. I read reviews online before coming in but I love Hooters and I thought I would ignore the reviews and give it a chance! If you knew the training process and positive atmosphere it takes to "be a hooters girl", this place lacked that entirely from the second we walked in to the second we walked out. We didn't get greeted when we walked in till the hostess was finished having her conversation with her friend. We then sat ourselves. After a few minutes we were greeted by a friendly hooters girl, I asked her a few questions and she seemed like she could of been new or maybe didn't have enough training... All of our food took a while to get and was very dry and old tasting. Our wings took 57 mins(yes we timed it) to get out and when it came out it was very disappointing. We didn't have the right amount of wings in our orders and everything looked and tasted like it was sitting under a heat lamp for awhile. When we said something to the waitress she said she'd fix it and we got one wing on a plate 15 minutes later and it wasn't even one that went with our order. By this point we were just over it. I'm surprised a manager didn't touch our table at all throughout this visit. We left with no thank you, no goodbyes, nothing. I'm so upset because I love Hooters and it will always have a place in my heart. This place has so much potential! I received a virtual MasterCard gift card for Christmas and tried to use it in your store, according to what it looks like the manager he said no they don't accept it. So I paid with my debit card and walked out with my food. Only for them to come chasing me to my car saying that they did not receive payments even though I had a receipt and told them the receipt was on the table. I have never been so mad. This may be th worst establishment I have been to. We came on a friday at 7 pm. It took 25 mins to bring our drinks . We ordered fried pickles as appetizers, and when we got them 45 mins later, they were cold. I ordered bone in wings, and when they came out an hour after the appetizers that were cold, they were burnt and not edible. We ended up sending all the food back and not eating anything. We did have a few beers, and they were ok. It just took about 25 mins per drink to get. Save your money and go somewhere with better service and food. read more

Every time we go at least one of us has to send our food back. The cook doesn't know the menu and constantly uses the wrong ingredients for items on menu. Then the cook will yell and cuss loud enough for customers to hear about having to remake the food the right way. The waitresses are friendly and we know it isn't their fault the food is wrong. Now I call Hooters, who tells me to call DOOR DASH? Um, YOU are the one who forgot my food! You should send what I paid for here in my opinion. So to make a long story short, I got an incomplete order, manager didn't want to work with me and I got a credit to use DOOR DASH next time for missing food item. I looked (for fun) to see what it would cost me to re-order and it was an extra $5 (plus DOOR DASH credit) to get the item I already ordered. Just unsatisfactory and they wouldn't work with me. My daughter ate at this location about 2 weeks ago and got Salmonella poisoning from the garlic chicken. After leaving the restaurant she became violently ill. Vomiting , diarrhea, and dizzy. The next day we took her to the doctor when it wouldn't stop and she was diagnosed with Salmonella. After I called and told the manager at Hooters, they didn't really seem interested. They took our name and number and never called us back. Be very careful eating here. Bad food and management doesn't care. read more

Very disappointed with our visit here. No friendly welcome when walking in. Our waitress seemed new or just disinterested. She carded us after she served us our beers, which is both comical and ridiculous. It took an hour for our food to come out, and I once it did, it was dry and either overcooked or had been sitting under a heating lamp for too long. It didn't look appetizing. We asked the waitress for some extra sauce because our wings and shrimp were barely covered, which we ended up getting charged for. We were short a number of wings in one order, and had additional wings in another order. And when we mentioned it to the server, it was fixed.....20 minutes later....with the wrong order. No managers came to our area to check on tables. In fact, we saw them sitting down watching sports. It's a shame this location isn't better being next to a military post and college campus. read more

Absolutely horrendous. We visited Hooters on a Monday night...which just happens to be an All You Can Eat Wings Night. I was ready for some wings! Our drink order of sweet teas and waters came pretty quickly, but it took approximately 45 minutes for two appetizers to make it to our table and an additional 20 minutes for our meals to get there. I don't understand the lack of preparation by the management staff on a night like that. We were visited by someone (not sure if it was a manager) to explain that they were short staffed and that she was also doing her part to help out in the kitchen and move things along (but it wasn't working very well). I initially attributed the slowness to the night, but after reviewing a couple of reviews here on Yelp, I see that it's a regular occurrence. Which is pretty sad because it used to be a pretty good place for a group of people to get some wings. We were informed that we would receive a discount for our meal, which was a pretty significant discount. We felt badly for our waitress, who had no control over those in the kitchen but was probably taking the brunt of the frustration from customers...so we gave her the discount that we received as a gratuity. Going on 15 minutes and no drink or food order taken. Hostess stopped by and brought me an order for someone else. I found that strange since I never ordered anything.. Finally received a visit from a server. She seemed nervous. To head off any other problems, I ordered my beverage and food all at once. Back 2 minutes later and out of my beer choice. They were out last time. If you aren't going to have the Dos Equis Lager, then take it off the menu. They are updating menu choices and only have an electronic version available currently, so it would be a good time to update that beer list. I ordered the Big Daddy and received a pint ‍. Going to shut up and drink it at this point. Also asked for a lime and did not get that either. Took 8 minutes for the beer to come. 17 minutes after ordering, server checks in and says it won't be much longer. . Food came but was missing half the order. Had boneless chicken, cheese sticks, and fries with cheese sauce. I was half done before the cheese sauce and sticks came. I asked to cancel the cheese sticks, but they were brought out anyways. The fries were hot, and the chicken was warm, I would have expected it to be super hot as long as I waited. Overall, the food was fine, just frustrated with the wait and inattention to listening to customers carefully when the order is placed. Probably won't be back to this location. read more

Worst experience ever. The whole thing was a nightmare. First, we go in the entrance only to be greeted by a gun in the face to check our temperatures like some kind of I Am Legend acceptance. Then we are told to go back out the entrance and wait by the exit in order to re-enter the establishment via the exit. Makes sense, right? Once we waited for a while to be seated, the drinks were ordered only to be disgustingly flat. We came in for Wingsday but were told that was no longer on the menu. Then what we did order, took forever only to find out that it was placed with the to-go orders. Once we finally got our food, it was cold, wrong, and nasty. I went ahead and tried to eat what was in front of me but couldn't stomach it. Our waitress Kennedy was really nice and we felt bad for her. It took them ten minutes to seat us, there were plenty of available seats. Then when we got sat Kennedy took our order. They seemed to be very short handed because she was running around like crazy. My husband ordered his burger medium and it came out no kidding an hour later black, well done. He asked for it with extra pickles, mayo and mustard and there wasn't any of it. They took his burger off the tab and we had to wait another half hour for a new burger. They are sooooo slow.
