Stopped in for a quick lunch. Big, bright, open. And industrial type environment, but in a cool way. I had the skirt steak chimi, which came with grilled veggies, hand cut fries, and surprisingly a cup of pasta. While the past was a little overcooked (I'm really weird about al dente), it was cheesy. The grilled veggies could have used a little more seasoning, but very satisfying otherwise. The steak couldn't be cooked to temp because of size, but it was moist and had good flavor. The fries were tasty. A huge amount of food for just under 26 bucks. I also had The Pin Up cocktail (gin, luxardo cherry, pineapple juice, fresh lime, simple syrup) and it was surprisingly refreshing and tasty. My server, Ceasar, as well as the other staff, were attentive and very welcoming. Large menu with apps (fries with Korean chili sauce, drips, loaded potato croquettes, egg rolls), salads (chicken, beef/Mexican, caesar, Cobb), and burgers (beef, bison, and elk). They also have chicken sandwiches and a veggie burger. For entrees they have quesadillas, rigatoni, salmon, various bowls (beef, shrimp, fish). And a whole grill section (my chimi steak, surf and turf fajita tacos, chicken skewers, ribeye, pork chops. Their brunch looks really tasty too, with deviled eggs, salads, burritos, steak and eggs, French toast, and some wicked looking cocktails (I could drool over the aqua Fresca mimosa (flavors include strawberry basil, cherry limeade, lemon cucumber, and honey peach). Parking is a really big pain, but it's that way everywhere in downtown Clarksville. There is a cheap pay lot a few hundred feet down the road. Glad I tried this place as part of my self care day, and will definitely be back to try more. read more

Tried brunch this weekend and couldn't have asked for a more perfect morning. We were seated promptly at our reservation time of 11:15. Within 3 minutes our super sweet waitress Naysa had our waters to us and our drink orders in. Within five minutes we had our drinks and order in. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful. We loved hearing about its history. The patio is really nice and worth getting a seat at if the weather permits. Very comfortable, spacious and with covered seating. They also had heaters for chilly evenings which is a big plus. The Spicy Margarita was so good! Definitely a nice strong jalapeño flavor. The Strawberry Basil Agua Fresca was so refreshing. We shared the Chicken and Funnel cake. It was absolutely delicious. The chicken was flavorful and a little herby in the coating. The funnel cake was soft and pancake like on the inside and crispy on the outside without being oily. He had the deviled egg flight and said it was really good. His favorite was the Cajun with bacon. The flavors were excellent. He said he would definitely order it again. I also had a side Caesar. The salad was dressed a little too heavily and the dressing had a strong taste of mayonnaise. It wasn't like any Caesar dressing I had had before and wasn't quite my liking. However the greens were fresh and the croutons were forkable which I love. Naysa was so kind and personable. Built in 1935, during the Depression, as Clarksville's Post Office, and subsequently utilized as Federal offices, local investors have carefully renovated this glorious building and launched it as "The Mailroom" in 2022. We had a three generation get together family brunch there, starting with deviled egg flights and Bloody Mary's and Mimosas (special pricing during brunch!). I had never had a fried chicken funnel cake, but our server's description sold me on trying this delicious cake/sandwich. Our server's attentiveness was very welcome as the glasses with our special beverages seemed to have a hole in the bottom. There are several traditional breakfast dishes (omelettes, stuffed French toast) to choose from as well as salads, and interesting burgers. First time eating here! It was a Friday night around 6pm. We were greeted and seated right away. It was surprisingly not packed, like I had thought it would be. The place isn't overly fancy (it is a little more pricey though) but it's a good place for a date night or to take family when they're in town visiting or something. The building actually used to be the city's post office and was built during the Great Depression. They actually give you a post card at the end of your meal, it was sweet. Anyway, we were seated outside on the patio and our drink order was taken. My husband ordered something that was similar to an old fashioned and I got an espresso martini. I can't speak for him, but mine was really good! About 2 sips in, I noticed a bug floating in mine. It was obvious it had been there for a minute because its wing had broken off and was floating around in the glass. We waited patiently for our server to return, and, by the time she arrived, it had been a few minutes. The way she handled the situation surprised me. She basically told me that that's what I got for sitting outside and the restaurant wasn't responsible, that she wouldn't take it off our check (I hadn't asked her to), and she would make me a new one (but I was going to be charged for it.) I politely declined and went on with life. This is why I docked a star on my review though. *The table next to us recieved a monkey bread with a burnt bottom. I saw it, that shit was black. Our server also tried to argue that this was how all the monkey breads came out because they were cooked in a cast iron dish. My husband, a cast iron enthusiast, assured me that, if baked properly, the bottom would not be black. She, however, did take their dish back and exchange it for some kind of potato dish. I'm honestly not sure why she was ao defensive, it's not like she personally cooked the dish (or prepared my drink) but I was happy she ate least corrected it for them. I really hope they didn't pay for it though. The food was wonderful. I got the surf n turf tacos, swapped fries for the rice, and got the side salad with house dressing. I enjoyed everything on my plate and didn't leave a crumb! My husband also got steak and shrimp, and doubled down on fries, hold the garden. He loved his meal as well. We finished with the chocolate creme brulee for dessert. We were honestly torn between that and the red velvet bread pudding. After seeing other people's bread pudding, we realized we made a mistake and thought about ordering a second dessert. I will say, the creme brulee was alright, but it wasn't anything super special in my book. I honestly wish we would have taken the time to eat here sooner, as there are a lot of other things I would have liked to try. Unfortunately, we move this upcoming week and I won't get to. A cute restaurant inside of a serious looking building. Came here for a quick brunch with a friend and got seated very quickly at noon time. Server came with water and took our order pretty quickly. They did not check up on us though during our whole meal, which isn't an issue until we were sitting for a while waiting on the check. Food was quick to come out. The deviled egg flight was okay. it was about $10 for 8 eggs but they were so odd tasting. I personally would not buy the eggs again. They didn't taste fresh either, plate was also cold which made me think it was premade in a fridge. Burgers came out quick. The cowboy burger was juicy and had good toppings. The bread was good and not stale! The breakfast burger was good. The patty itself was a bit bland but overall a good combo. The burgers are massive too, personally couldn't finish mine. We had the option of fries or potatoes, and we went with the latter. The potatoes were very nicely made and the sweet potato added in was a nice touch. If I could give 0 star rating i definitely would. My sisters and I went there this past Saturday about 2pm right before brunch and we all ordered the chicken and funnel cake. We all ended up very sick the next day with diarrhea and vomiting. Every last one of us. We will NOT be returning and DO NOT recommend this restaurant. We have eaten here twice and both meals were great. We stopped today for lunch 1/17/25. We ask for a booth not a table and since there was 7 open and one with a reservation sign didn't seem to be a Problem. She was going to sit us at a table with full sun coming in with no shade. I ask for another table. Two workers acted as if that was a hard decision. One table needed to be cleaned 3 were open. I came here with a business partner for dinner, very cool place I must say. Since it was Easter night it was very empty. We got the Shrimp dip as an app which was very good and I got the fried chicken sandwich as my main course. The style of the sandwich was a bit different than all the other places I have it but still very tasteful. This was my 2nd here and we came their 2nd birthday. Our super sweet server was April and said we could request her when we come back. Went here for dinner this evening and had the BEST service thanks to Bri T. She was absolutely amazing! She was so nice and very quick with drinks and getting our orders in before my children turned into little gremlins. My mother was with us and she suffers from celiacs disease and Bri made sure that everything was prepared perfectly in the hopes to not have a contamination. We will come back just to have her as our server again. Amazing! The food and drinks were perfection as well. My dirty martini was delectable and went down a little too easy. we stop by here for some lunch in Clarksville. It was my first time in this neighborhood and we genuinely didn't know where to go but one of my friends who is a local here took us to the mail room. I ended up getting a fresh peach tea and a Caesar salad and it was pretty good. The Caesar was really creamy so if that's your style, you should definitely come here, but I wasn't able to eat a lot of it. the fresh peach tea was OK. It doesn't seem too loud, although the tables are a bit too close to each other. The service is on the slower side but it' hasn't been an issue so far. The cocktails are made with love as our server said. The customer service is top tier. The first time here I ordered the ribeye, cooked rare. It came out medium-well to well done. The manager offered to get me a new one, and I adamantly said I don't want more food or anything free, I just wanted them to be aware so they can improve. They still gave us a free dessert. Second time here, wanted to order the Korean beef bowl, but the waiter recommended against that because the cook doesn't make it good, so ordered same ribeye, rare. Went there for our family Christmas dinner. Have been to the restaurant before and had a good experience but last night 12/16/25 our food was bad. My husband's bone in pork chop was so over cooked he could not eat it I ordered chicken skewers which were so over cooked the chicken was mushy and the pineapple was burnt My son ordered the skirt steak which was cut with the grain which left the steak hard to chew. Our SIL ordered his steak med rare and it was very over cooked. The restaurant was busy with big parties last night so I'm sure the kitchen was taxed but unfortunately our food was not good. Just had our anniversary dinner here tonight and we are frequent diners, at least once a month. Tonight we had the Butter Steak and Cowboy Burger as well as their always excellent Cheesy Monkey Bread. We also had their Clarksville Bramble and Blueberry Mint Agua Fresca drinks which were both great. The real topper for the night was the service and their creativity though. They were out of a couple of types of alcohol to make some of their seasonal drinks and our server, Bri, worked with the manager, Allie, who came up with a yummy alternative, a boozy hand made hot chocolate which wasn't on the menu (but definitely should be)!
