The ambiance is nice, the drinks are good, and the location is convenient, but unfortunately, the food was disappointing. We ordered the brisket sandwich and the brisket entrée. The sandwich had very small pieces of brisket with a heavy amount of fat, and the pickled onions tasted like they had been sitting in the fridge a little too long. The brisket entrée was also a surprisingly small portion. The house salad came with a very runny, slightly spicy ranch dressing that wasn't really to my taste. This place is fascinating. Apparently an actual distillery with a large selection of in-house spirits. Service was excellent, atmosphere is warm and friendly and the food was fabulous! This is a really well run restaurant, but it's a destination to enjoy if you need a break from traveling. I don't think the distillery tour is probably kid friendly (includes tasting-yum-) but the rest of the place is very family oriented. This is a brunch only review-- they serve brunch on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 10 am. I'd love to stop by again in the future for dinner and drinks/flights, though. Plenty of parking, huge interior that is welcoming, modern, and comfortable. I really enjoyed the biscuit and gravy platter-- very good biscuits and gravy, the home fries are perfectly crispy and the eggs cooked to order. My wife enjoyed the breakfast burrito. A friend of ours raved about the chicken and waffles, stating that although the chicken doesn't look super crispy it is, and very flavorful. You can also do chicken and pancakes. We had an Elote dip, pulled pork sandwich double smash burger, brisket Shepherd pie witand a brisket burnt ends appetizer. We thoroughly enjoyed our cocktails. This place is really cool. This was our first visit to a distillery and Old Glory is impressive. The building itself is a giant brick building like an old factory from the 1920s. The inside appears to have been recently updated and renovated. On one side is the restaurant, the other is a tasting room, and the distilling in the in middle. We came in for lunch. Started out with old fashions which were spot in, ended up having two. For lunch it was the standard American fare. We had some lighter options like salads and shared plates. The food overall was good, but not extraordinary. Service could have been a little more attentive however. After lunch, we headed to the tasting room. The standard tasting was $16 which seemed to be quite reasonable. Some of the tastings are 90-100 proof, so be ready for that. Also picked up some T-shirts. We would have picked up a bottle, but because of TSA you would have to put it in a checked bag. We did end up picking up a bottle at the Nashville airport after security, but the cost is about 30% more. They indicated that you can order online and have it shipped. Looks like they do tours, but we did not have the time on this day. Definitely a stop if you are a whiskey drinker and in the Clarksville area. read more

This is a very cool spot. If you are a fan of bourbon or whiskey this is a must for you. The decor has historic touches with modern flare. They also do distillery tours and offer tastings. One half is a restaurant and the other half is the distillery. The menu is based off the booze so that is fun. The food was really good and the portions are huge. The servers I've had each time were friendly, accommodating and attentive even in the busier times. I have to always get the prime rib egg rolls every time I visit. The chicken and pancakes are perfect for brunch. The chicken is seasoned to perfection and the pancakes are so buttery and the homemade syrup adds to this pairing. Their Old Glory Old Fashion used their small batch bourbon and it was good..nothing unique tho about it. Pours I felt were small for the price. I want to share my bad experience with the restaurant I had last night! First of all I want to say we had a reservation and nowhere does it let you choose what kind of table you want! Second we got there and we can't get a different table (mind you I'm 7 months pregnant with a tailbone injury) we got the high table to sit on. At that point I already wanted to leave, unfortunately I decided to stay which was a bad choice because all I was looking forward to was the salmon just to find out they were all out!! They could have mentioned that before they gave us the menu!! It was really annoying to get home with an aching back. They also are a bourbon distillery so their flights are a must try. My service was excellent with recommendations of their featured items. Excited to come in after traveling all day. The atmosphere is neat, with the distillery surrounding the restaurant area. We ordered the salmon, kids chicken tenders, kids pork sandwich, and the southern chicken. The kids chicken tenders took a long time to prepare, but they were hot and fresh! They actually were the best part of the meal. For the other kids meal, the pork sandwich and fries were not warm. The restaurant ended up comping it, which we appreciated.
