Hmmm...so it's Saturday December 30th and everyone is outside. I like to take my kids on dates so today I let my daughter pick the restaurant. She picked Cheddars so we went. When we arrived there was a 10 minute wait, ok no problem. We sat down, ordered the spinach dip appetizer. It was ok. The dip wasn't hot more like lukewarm. No real flavor just spinach. I initially wanted the New Orleans pasta that has shrimp, chicken and shrimp. It has sausage and I don't eat pork so I asked if the sausage not come on the pasta? My waiter was unsure but he stated he would ask for me. The manager was a few feet away and answered the question. She stated that the sausage couldn't be removed but the shrimp could. I didn't understand that but ok whatever. I was told that the sausage was big enough to remove. Now why would I do that?? Make it make sense. So I ordered the Key west chicken and shrimp. I think I was waiting 5 minutes for my food in the to go spots out front. And the server was very friendly. We ordered the chicken fried steak and it was delicious! Our first night in town after traveling 8 hours. We were moving to the area. It was late & after getting into our hotel we searched for open restaurants. My daughter & I ventured out to Cheddar's. Becky was our server & she was fantastic!! She gave us a quick pointing tour of the area. Told us where the shopping was, places to go etc. when our food arrived it was fresh, hot and amazing. She quickly returned to check on us. I ordered a to-go meal for my husband back at hotel, Becky notified me about half way through my meal she had just fired it so it would be hot when we left. I was so happy with our experience & talking with Becky that I left my debit card behind. I realized this about 15 minutes after getting back to room. I called restaurant & Becky had already gone. This place was good when they opened but it went downhill and the last time we went it was terrible microwaves meals using the worst quality meats. i had a very bad experience here. I had a reservation for a table at 7:30, and it is now 9:00 the only thing me and my friends have received is our drinks. The waiter looked lost and confused at everything we said. continuously repeated our orders to us and was just a very bad experience all around. will not be coming back anytime soon.... it is now 9:30 and we just got our food. plates are dirty, and tea is not sweet. it took another 10 minutes just to get a thing of ranch. i am not pleased with the service here. read more

On July 19, 2024, this was the first time that I had visited this establishment in Brunswick, Ga., and the food, the waiter and the manager were awesome! My waiter was very personable and attentive to my parties' needs. She went the extra mile to ensure that everyone was taken care of and felt comfortable as if we were all were sitting around the dinner table. Although, she had gotten sick in the midst of serving us, the manager stepped right in and ensured that our food and the great hospitality of this organization exceeded everyone's expectation. Her thoughtfulness, attentive attitude and the ambiance of the environment made what could have been an awful experience into one that we all will never forget. We sat at the bar and our bartender Olivia was beyond amazing!!!! We ordered a Bloody Mary and a Painkiller to start, they were made perfectly. Lunch was not low cal , but hey it's Saturday. We started with the Wisconsin cheese bites, yummy, and for lunch we had the Monte Cristo, excellent, and the Buffalo Wrap, very good as well. Expect generous portions! This was our first time visiting the restaurant and it was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was amazingly delicious, and the service was excellent. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a very nice gentleman and were seated quite promptly. After ordering, we received our food in a timely manner. For those wondering what to eat, I HIGHLY suggest the Monte Cristo sandwich. The price is incredibly reasonable for the amount of food they give you and the sandwich itself is amazing. Cheddar's is my absolute favorite restaurant!!! I usually dined inside but after COVID struck, I tried the curbside pickup and that has been perfect! My favorite menu item is the New Orleans Pasta. Absolutely ! I have even pulled into a pickup slot and placed my order when I was craving the Cornmeal Whitefish Platter! I have absolutely no problem sitting in my car waiting. She's in training so she cannot make drinks but she consistently checked in on me and brought my raspberry lemonade how I prefer (ice in a separate cup). The lemonades ($3.99) are free refill so great choice if you have teenagers or a DD. I chose the blackened salmon salad. Salami was moist, not charred, cooked perfectly. It was not prepared with a heavy sting hand so I was thankful. Nothing robust about the salad. No mixed greens just wedge lettuce (which were slightly translucent), julienned carrots, grated Parmesan cheese. Ask for the dressing on the side; i did and it really helped with not making a soupy salad (unless you like that). ASK FOR THR ACCOMPANYING SWEET ROLL !! This alone made the salad worth the $11.50. It's in fine print and it comes with the salad but they only serve it if you ask for it. It's was warm, a nice sticky drizzle and on the side. Atmosphere for a Friday night is pretty lively. Ensure you call in a reservation. Be mindful of Fort Campbell's 4-Days training holidays and pay days because this place was full of soldiers and heir families. My friend is has gluten allergies, fortunately Cheddars has a full Gluten Free menu (just ask them) there was probably 10-14 dishes on the GF menu which was really surprising.
