The 3 stars is just because the service was great. The food has a lot to be desired. (At least the dish I had does.) The menu described it as marinated in a tangy sauce, not a neon like pink sauce topped on it. The sauce was super sweet, unsure if it's a sweet and sour or a French type salad dressing. This is my second visit in the last 7 years and most likely my last. No hate to them or those who like this place. I just don't see why they need to use such cheap ingredients and execute it so poorly. I am really disappointed in the food. read more

Horrible service! I sent my wife and kids to get breakfast at this diner on Valentine's Day which is shared with our anniversary since I can't join them while I'm on deployment. The hostess didn't even give my wife and kids a chance to sit down and eat as she waited 30 minutes to eat as she welcomed couples that came in after my wife and gave them tables of 4. While my wife asked about what was going on, the hostess returned the answer " I don't really see a mom and her kids come out on Valentine's Day " I am highly disappointed and hurt because how my wife was treated ! read more

I ate my breakfast before I got any pictures, oops! Stopped here with a friend on a Sunday morning. It was 9:30am and the place was pretty filled already. It's seat yourself, so I snagged an open booth. We only had 2 in our party, but 4 could fit comfortably. The table was clean, and I was given a menu promptly, along with coffee and water. The waitresses will, no shit, come to your table CONSTANTLY to ask if you need a coffee refill. Not even just your waitress, whoever has a coffee pot! It was really nice because my cup was always hot and filled, but I also had to refuse several times because it was too hot for me to drink. After some time checking out their fairly extensive menu, I settled on the City Slicker breakfast-- French toast, eggs, and choice of meat (I chose bacon.) My friend got the country ham platter with eggs and pancakes. Our food came out quickly, considering the number of people being served. Everything was hot and cooked to order. There was syrup on the table and lots of butter for our pancakes and French toast. I asked for hot sauce for my eggs, and they had Cholula, my fav. I did use the bathroom while we were there. It was a single stall with a changing table. There was enough room for someone with a handicap to move around, and moms with active toddlers. Everything was clean and stocked. Great experience! Don't be scared of what appears to be a long line or wait. We got added to the list and were surprised how fast we got seated (party of 3, Saturday morning @1000). Everyone liked what they ordered. Waitress was attentive and friendly. 3 other staff members checked on us and asked if we wanted drink refills. Price was very reasonable, I was pleased fly surprised how cheap everything was and again the food was really good. I'll be back and highly recommend this place for at least breakfast! read more

My husband and I eat here every time we come to visit. Never been disappointed in the portions size nor the quality of the food. Wait staff is very friendly and attentive. They were good about refills. It is not a fancy dinner. It is what we would call mom and pop dinner. We love it and will continue to come back we were are here. read more

We came at 6AM Sunday March 30th. The server was absolutely amazing. The food usually is amazing as well. Today it wasn't. My husband steak was barely cooked, he ordered it medium well. His hash browns was to crispy he picked through them to eat what he could. My biscuits and gravy was so hard you couldn't even cut into the biscuits. The cook for some reason is cooking in the dark. my nephew and I were there on Saturday for breakfast. We had a very rude waitress named RandI. we had went there two weeks bfore and our order was only $28.?? with toast of our choice. Randy charged us for the toast and we had exactly the same breakfast we had two weeks before, only this time our order was $42.21. Well we can't understand why two different visits and two different charges. And this time the food was terrible. But I always thought that toast came with your breakfast. I had nothing but and omelet with toast. my nephew had omelet, pancakes, toast, and biscuits and gravy. I probably should have looked at the order ticket better that she wrote. I was basically shocked about being charged for toast that I thought can't with your breakfast. The reason for the 4* is that my bacon had more fat than my personal preferences. Also, the contents of my omelette wasn't spread out completely, so it was just all egg about an inch on each end and no other contents. The server was very nice BUT the coffee was bland. The food was so so. They forgot what we ordered more than once. We had to even ask for silverware. The place was not busy, so I felt a little depressed. My husband liked his Blueberry waffle. The baked potato - so so. My steak was blah, and I can cook a great steak. $25 (plus a $7 tip) for our meals. I gave it two stars because the servers were polite, and the blueberry waffle was good. The one thing everyone can agree on about this place is it has OUTSTANDING service. The ladies were very friendly and attentive. The lady that seated us even came outside to let us know our booths were ready. The food was on par with the service. It was between this one and the one in Clarksville. I called Clarksville before heading that way there was a 50 minute wait. I walked right into the one in KY and sat wherever I wanted to.
