We didn't know that was an option, until we heard another customer ask for a sample after we had already ordered. Who knew? Apparently they have Bingo nights, and a nice little play area for kids. There was also jewelry and clothing for sale in a little area in the corner. The staff member was friendly but just helpful enough. He didn't go out of his way to explain anything but seemed more interested in relaxing on his phone. Typical of that age group these days.

Parking was easy, which was a plus. The restaurant itself felt a little worn down and somewhat dirty, though the bathroom was extremely clean. Once seated, the service was friendly but very slow. We ordered a basic breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, grits, coffee, and home fries. The coffee was delicious, and I loved the stainless steel mugs. The grits were not good, the bacon looked and tasted old, and the home fries were huge and just okay. Overall, it was a very basic breakfast and not really a place we would return to.

Elevated Southern breakfast with fresh ingredients, excellent food and great service. A good start to every morning. Day one was the Flat Top Omelette with ham, cheddar, onion and green bell peppers, plus sausage patties and crispy hashbrowns. Day two was Nonie Sue's Table with scrambled eggs and cheese, bacon and hashbrowns. I swapped the grits for extra hashbrowns and the biscuit for sourdough toast. Day three I kept it simple with over easy eggs, bacon and hashbrowns, but had to try their country ham too. Those hashbrowns are smashed super thin and cooked to crispy perfection. Seriously addicting. The bacon is thick cut, salty goodness, and everything tasted fresh. Sweet Milk will be a go to whenever I'm in Nashville. Other than my weakness for hashbrowns and a little sourdough, I kept things pretty low carb. Next time, I might have to give some of their sweet carbier options a try lol.
