We got it mild and it was the perfect little kick of spice. The chicken was tender and the crust was really good. The fries were amazing and the Mac and cheese was a perfect touch to it. The sauce was so good and they gave us extra sauce on the side which I appreciate since I'm a huge sauce person. But they actually put the perfect amount on the food so I didn't even need it. Had the chicken tenders and fries and I must say you get what you pay for and more hands down only place I have been to in a while and you actually get giant chicken tenders and not dry and over cooked the fries were seasoned perfectly. I have to say this was my first time in Kentucky and the fact that we drove all the way over here from Nashville to get hot chicken and the real Kentucky fried chicken experience was so damn weird that I can't even explain it to you. this location will definitely have you waiting for your meal, but it is so worth it. My chicken sandwich was out of this roll. They couldn't stop eating it and I genuinely did not have more physical space in my body to fit more food. The fries were really good although they were a little bit over seasoned, but that definitely might be to another person's taste. The sauces were pretty good. You can find wipes for your hands at the trashcan because you're definitely going to eating this meal. I wanted to desperately enjoy the wings but it was almost as if they soaked them in OC (pepper) spray. If you have ever been sprayed before, you will understand what I am talking about. It's meant for pain and not flavor and this chicken flavor was no different than spraying OC in your mouth. The food is really good! We got the sandwich, kids meal and added on a catfish filet. Everything is seasoned really well and delicious. For sides, we got fries and beans. The beans are very peppery and definitely something special that you can't get anywhere else. The fries were average. We would have given 5 stars, but had to deduct 1 star for the bathroom. Stopped here just looking for something to eat along 24 and saw this ad for the chicken place. It took a little bit to get our food, but man wasn't worth it. Probably the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. I also had cream corn and fried pickles and they were delicious. I would recommend this. It's kind of a hole in the wall that the amount of people that was in line getting taken out the amount of people waiting for their food. Just happens to show you how popular they are. I have been eating here religiously for the past 3.5 years now, I usually go at least twice a week. I'm there so often I don't even have to tell them my order, I get the same thing every time so everyone that works there in the mornings has my order memorized and just asks me if I want the usual every time I come in. I was hoping for a good experience here but it wasn't. Granted it is near a base so the food doesnt have to be that good to stand out and it definitely didn't stand out. I placed the order and the associate wasn't neither friendly nor rude. The service was more robotic without any real customer service which was kind of meh. The chicken was spicy but not flavorful and they screwed up on the sauces. I asked for honey mustard and hot sauce and only saw them putting hot sauce in it. I asked the girl if they put the hot sauce since I did not see her put that in there and she said "yes I did". I left and of course there was no hot sauce. We are told a new Hot Chicken place opened outside Fort Campbell Army Base and had to go see for ourself. The location is very convenient for those living on post and for a quick off post lunch but be sure to order online. There is room for eating inside but if you didn't order online expect 20 minutes to receive your order. Still that isn't bad and sure beats driving all the way to Nashville for Hot Chicken for Clarksville and Kentucky people. Oh, they also serve Hot Catfish. I ordered the catfish strips and my wife ordered the chicken tenders. We both got the combo which includes two sides and a drink. You can choose a fountain drink or bottle from the fridge. She took the fountain I took the bottled Dr.Pepper. Sides include coleslaw, fries, jalapeños poppers, potato salad, fried okra, fried pickles, Mac and cheese and baked beans. They come in containers not unlike other fast food places. Portion is one would expect. Where I was disappointed is with the catfish. I crave catfish and it is so available in Tennessee and Kentucky but the portion was so small. Two filet strips was all. It tasted delicious and I got the Hot. I could probably gone up one more heat level and still had my taste buds and enjoyed everything. The wife got three chicken tenders and she was totally satisfied. She also got the Hot and felt she too could have gone up one level but she felt it was a good safe order for someone never having Hot Chicken. We were out for a meeting at Ft. Campbell and saw this place the on locations map. I read the great reviews BUT was a bit skeptical when we pulled up. I'm so glad that we went in because this place is amazing. I got the hot chicken tenders and they weren't your run of the mill "buffalo" dipped tenders. They were huge, tender and spiced like I've never tasted before. My staff got the catfish sandwich and chicken sandwich. The inside of the restaurant looks nothing like the outside as it super clean, great color scheme and the staff were all with smiles. Can't recommend it enough BUT I would say between the Joes across the street and all the construction workers in there, try to get there a little early. read more

Liked that the chicken was not battered. The mild had a nice kick and seasoning was good. The southern style was essentially your plain fried chicken. But with some seasoning. Preferred the mild, although I did try a piece of the hot chicken from my sister in law and wow. Yes, it was hot and it had a sweetness to it which I really liked. Our sides were the fried okra and sweet corn. The fried okra was basic and bleh, it had no seasoning. But that sweet corn was ahhmazing. Just wish the okra was better. The online ordering was super easy and appreciated that a text was sent when your order is ready. No more waisting time waiting. Flex for sure!
