Very disappointing. The server was as cordial as a prison guard, the food was extremely greasy and tasted like someone dumped a salt shaker on it, and the bathrooms couldn't meet the cleanliness standards of a nasty truck stop. Every single bite of food that was brought out to me and my boyfriend was fresh and delicious. Better yet the service was extremely fast and friendly. The drinks tasted amazing my strawberry lemonade had fresh strawberries and it was by far one of the best meals we've had in a long time. read more

Great service and the food was delicious. We had burgers and an order of onion rings. The onion rings were the best I have had in a really long time. We got there about 4:30 so no wait time. I visted Cheddar's for lunch and the food was amazing. It was priced according to the value and I thought they had a good selection of choices. It was pretty busy during the weekend lunch time and I was glad to see they were staffed accordingly. We was there yesterday to celebrate Father's Day we wait almost 2 hours to be seat it, it was ok because it was father's and we knew it will busy,?we went to the bar and had some drinks the bartender was really nice. On our way to the table I was sliding all the way to my table I don't know if it's was the tiles on the floor or it was wet (no sign that say wet floor as so ever) we did have a party of 16 or so so they had two servers on the party, my problem was that the table with 6 or 7 kids were the last one to get their food that was a mayor issue because we already have to wait 2 hours and the kids were very hungry, the other booth also got the food later and the other one booth didn't have any problems with their food(we had 3 booth total) the food wasn't that good my mother in law had the Bourbon pork chops and the meat was very tuff and have No Bourbon sauce at all she didn't complain, when we was ready to pay my friend and his daughters were ready to leave and like I said on my way to the table I had to hold on to my sister in law because the floor was very slippery, I was a little nervous because my daughter in law is pregnant and I was scare she will fall. Well one of girl slip and fell on on the floor hurting her arm and head but more her arm pretty bad ambulance had to be call and everything, I don't know what was wrong with the floor but where she fell it was more slippery than the front of the restaurant, I been at Cheddar's more than 6 times and I had never have a problem with food or servers I love this place very much as well I'm an employee of Darden Inc. for more than 20 years and I was the person who planned Father's Day dinner at Cheddars and I suggest it because my family and I Love this place and never had an issue but last night it was pretty bad. We went there again last night and once again it was packed but the service and food was excellent and we are now used to just knowing you are going to have to wait. We started with the Spinach dip and it was tasty. I tried the New Orleans Pasta and the serving was filling, really good and the portions are huge. Someone else had the Sirloin steak and the ribs and they said they were meaty and really good, their only complaint was having to pay for a house salad instead of having it automatically be a choice with the entrée. Went to Cheddar's last night and the service was excellent. We were greeted promptly for our drink order and then our server took our dinner order once we received our drinks. Food was fantastic and I will definitely go back again. Only complaint was how loud the restaurant is not sure why but maybe the way it is constructed the sound travels throughout no matter where you sit. read more

My husband and I were out and about shopping and needed a few things from Costco. So we decided to stop in at Cheddars and give them a try for a nice Birthday Dinner for myself. I had heard good things about them from some of my facebook friends. So we thought "why not?" Boy am I glad we did! The food was excellent, our server was friendly, and the price was right. I had the country fried chicken, the lunch size portion, one piece of chicken breast instead of two. mashed potatoes and gravy and green bean. All of it was seasoned to perfection. I'm glad I went with the smaller portion otherwise I would have had a lot more to bring home with me. I just couldn't eat it all. My husband had the Cornmeal crusted cat fish, w/ fries and coleslaw. I had a bite of his and I can tell you I'm not much of a fish eater, I mean I hate fish, but that was something I would order for myself, it was that good, and no fishy taste at all. The half and half iced tea was the freshest I have had at any restaurant in forever. Not to sweet and not to unsweet. I think this will be one of our go to restaurants in the future for a good meal with lots of variety on the menu, decent prices and good food. read more

Came around 4:30 and had food by 5! We mentioned seeing a gluten free menu and we were given the chef. Over all it was great but we were told the company doesn't give out coupons or discounts for military members. In this area that was hard to believe! read more

Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Cheddars! Super nice servers, management is friendly, and the overall feel of the restaurant is great! It's nice to go somewhere where the atmosphere is nice and the food is excellent! Considering the restaurant is new to the area and many of the employees are new to serving I'd say they are doing pretty well. Don't let the negative people from the area get under your skin. I wish everyone had to serve the public or work retail to understand just how rude some customers can be. People that want to have 30 minute turn around should visit the golden arches. I personally enjoy being able to go to a restaurant and relax while enjoying the company I am with. Keep up the good work Cheddars! read more

I was so impressed with my first experience at Cheddars!!! The call-ahead option allowed my family to be seated shortly after we arrived. The waitress was very friendly, informative and efficient, complementing the already homey and pleasant environment. What surprised me the most was the variety of the menu and the incredible prices--I was even more surprised when I got my food and saw the generous portions! What's more, the flavor of each food on my plate was absolutely amazing and the combinations were exquisite. My family and I couldn't stop raving about everything! I no longer live in the USA, but each time I come back to visit, I will for sure make a visit to Cheddars--if not 2! I think I have a new favorite restaurant :) read more

Second visit to Cheddars might just be the last visit. Took 45 minutes to receive our food. When the food did get there, there was a hair on one of the plates. They were much quicker to bring out a replacement dinner. Our waiter seemed to be completely overwhelmed. We had to flag him down for drink refills. To top it off, when we get the bill, we find out that for a hair being in your food you only get the meal at an employee discount. That amounts to $5.30 off. I have never heard of any establishment charging for food (even at a discount) that had a hair in it. Food wasn't bad, but needed to be served before it reached room temperature. read more

I loved my entree it was amazing, but the service is still a bit disorganized, maybe because they are still new? They accidentally gave our table away so the offered us appetizers only our appetizer order got lost. It took a really long time to sit down, get our drinks, receive our food and after everything reorder our appetizers a second time which came much later after our dinner. I'll probably give it one more chance and see if we just came on a bad night just because my food was so great, but if it's that crazy next time we won't come back. read more

We had such a Great dining experience tonight (Thursday evening). We got there and the place was busy as always were told it would be 15 to 20 minutes so we walked into the bar area. Our server Mary asked us if we would like to eat in there and said she would clean the table off for us and we were seated within 3 minutes. She was very friendly and helpful explaining the menu to us loved the fact that she took time to talk with us and laugh. We will be back to see her for sure.. I usually try to avoid chain restaurants but I was pleasantly surprised by Cheddars. We got there a little after 2pm and there was a small crowd of people waiting to dine. I figured it would be a long wait but they told me it would be about 10 minutes. It actually took only 6 minutes! The service was friendly and quite good. There were corporate servers there, so maybe that helped with the efficiency of or server. The food was delicious. The spinach dip and chips were very tasty. My gf and I both got the grilled catfish, yumm! The fish was served on a bed of the best tasting rice I have ever eaten. My gf went a second time a few days later and had the rice as one of her sides to her meal. If you go, try to avoid the tables against the back wall if you can. There is so much traffic on that back row, it would bother me. I am glad we were seated in the middle, underneath the cool ceiling fan. It's like a big paddle wheel.
