For 2 days in a row I have come through the drive-thru to pick up orders for customers and I have found that everyone is staining there on their phone not paying any attention to the window. I have not and honked several times with one girl standing there laughing not even attending to me meeting an order. The second time same thing has happened they have been standing there playing with their phones ignoring me through the drive-thru and when they finally did bring me the order they stayed on their phone the entire time that they were walking to the window to take care of me . On November 14, 2025 my friend and I went to this location and our overall experience was horrible. While ordering it was extremely hard to hear the employee. Once at the window the experience just got worse because every time my friend or I said something it felt as if we were being ignored because the employee would constantly ask us to repeat ourselves. The food was horrible. The strawberry fried cheesecake bites weren't hot nor were they crispy. They were drenched in powered sugar that the bottom of the container they came in had what looked to be about 3 spoonfuls of powered sugar in it. They didn't seem like they were actually cooked properly and were completely disgusting. The fries were warm and slightly stale as if they had been sitting for a while. The burgers had more ketchup on them than anything else. I definitely won't be returning to this location ever again. read more

Service here is not good at all. The females there are very unprofessional, impolite and more interested in their personal conversations than providing customer service. Food order items we're missing, and they made it seem like I was problem for addressing and requesting the items. Through that time they would continue their loud and unprofessional conversations with no regard for customers. I will not be coming here anymore. This page says this checkers location is permanently closed, it's not, but it should be. I usually give fast food workers the benefit of the doubt because I know they already lack basic human skills, but the girl (not sure if it was a girl or not?) who took my order was rude and gross. We said we couldn't hear her because the speaker was muffled and asked if we could order at the window. She said "nah my manager said no" which lacks customer service skills for the both of them. Not surprised about the manager either. Then when we pulled up to the window the chick was rubbing her face and eyes before she proceeded to touch our bag of food. I should have read the Yelp reviews before we got in the drivethru line. We wanted burgers last night and saw this Checkers on the way home from errands. My Fiance had been to a Checkers in the past and said it was good. So there were 2 cars in front of us, not moving. It literally took about 8-9 minutes for EACH car to place their order. When we got there, the young man asked us to hold and he'd be right with us. 3 minutes later he started to take our order, but cut us off mid-sentence and said can you please hold again. Took us about 7 mins to place our order. I chalked it up to the unfortunately circumstance of "help is hard to find" that's all over the country. Ok, I get it. That is until we got to the window to pick up our order. There were actually 5 people back in that area alone. I couldn't see who was working up front but hmmm... so many people but lack of service? One of the girls was working so slowly and literally picking up one chicken nugget/finger at a time with tongs and putting them into the paper basket. The young man at the window was laughing and joking with his coworkers (some not so nice words). That's fine - have fun at work - but remember you have paying customers in front of you. Be courteous. The staff here is over worked, under supported and not paid (or trained) well and it shows in the lack of service they provide. I go here often, my husband loves it, which is the ONLY reason I keep going back. I hate paying for crappy service and feel bad for the staff, they're obviously miserable and will probably jump ship as soon as the next opportunity comes across their laps. I can't blame them. Example: I ordered in the app, went to the drive through and ended up taking a total of 23 minutes to get my food. When I get to the window, the person asked "Are you here to get the mobile order?" and I replied with "yes, trying to", her response was "Well we're short staffed and working on it, we're doing the best we can" as she slams the window shut and while presenting an attitude & snappy tone. My response "well alrighty then" (eye roll) Next, I'm asked to move up out of the drive thru so they can serve other people while I waited longer for my food that I ordered 10 minutes prior to getting to the restaurant. I don't participate in this drive thru- time reducing tactic fast food restaurants try to use to keep their drive-thru service times low. By doing so, it makes the team look like they're not understaffed, and the service times aren't bad. They are, and they are. (I'd advise all customers to sit in the window and wait for their food, I used to manage a Taco Bell, I know the trick, they do it to keep their ratings down, ultimately creating more bad service and longer wait times) Why? Why do I care if you're short staffed? Why do I, the customer, have to hear about it? I just spent over $30, waited 23 minutes for fast food, and I have to hear about your staffing issues? Umm, that's not how it works! I expect a smile, a greeting, and friendly experience. Mind you, this isn't the first time I've been told that. Ordering in the app and going to the walk-up window proves no better. They worry about the drive-thru service first since that's more than likely tracked. The regional leadership team needs training, the managers here need training, your staff needs training, you need to pay your people more, and give them the resources in case of call outs, or whatever is causing the "shortage of staff". I'm tired of hearing about how hard it is for fast food spots to fill positions, when the organizations are being run like slave houses. Pay them better, treat them better, and they'll want to work for you. Your industry did this to itself through greed and employee abuse. Meanwhile these locations make anywhere from $300k to over a million / year, depending on the location and operations (gross). None of us want to wait 20+ minutes for fast food, nor do we want to hear about your misery, calls outs, lack of product, lack of working machines (your ice machine was broken for months!). Boost morale, create a team environment, and help them feel supported or get OUT of the fast food/ QSR business so another co. can come to town and do it the right way. read more

i was very disheartened and dissatisfied with the food/service here at checkers.. i ordered two small items from the menu which were the american cheeseburger and loaded cheese fries and got told to pull forward to wait about 30 minutes for my food which was cold AND RAW!!!! it's sad to say that i heard other complaints about the store having roaches everywhere including the bathroom which is very disgusting to me, i would not order from this checkers anymore due to the lack of inconsistent food quality, lack of cleanliness, and poor customer service. read more

Jumped off the interstate to grab a fresh bite to eat at a place we don't have near us.. i absolutely love CHECKERS but after this visit probably won't return EVER!! There were workers inside standing around doing nothing but no acknowledgement at all. He then said he'd follow me to the atm so I can pay him 150 dollars for a 1,000 dollar iPad. If I could give zero I would. I was very excited to see this Checkers open close to me. And I've gone 5 times total now. The opening weekend was great. Food WAS fresh and I was happy. That quickly changed. The last 4 times I have been to this Checkers has been a huge let down. Cold food. Hard buns, chili dogs with cold chili and hard buns, Soggy fries have quickly turned me off to this location. And that is IF they can get the order right. I'm not sure what's going on. I speak perfect English and some how they get my order wrong almost every time I've gone. It's one thing to mess up an order and give a guy fresh food. But don't give the wrong stuff AND it's cold and stale. I have gotten the same thing every time and this last time was so bad I had to write this. How dumb do they think I am. I ask for a sandwich without something for a reason. So that means make me a fresh sandwich WITHOUT what I asked you to leave off. Not take some sandwich you've had sitting around and remove what I didn't want. I know that's what they did because they didn't remove all of it. WHOEVER OWNS THIS CHECKERS. Having only eaten here once, I can comment on a limited part of the menu. The fry-lover's burger was a perfect balance of sweet, salty, and savory. Being an actual fry-lover, I also ordered a side of fries. Their battered fries provide a mix of creamy and crunchy textures that would please the most discriminating fry-lover. They were not over-seasoned, as is a common problem with many of their competitor's fries. The ambiance was great (well lit and clean), as it was a sunny day and I had recently had my car detailed. Ordered $80 worth of food for pickup thru their website, My son in law grabbed it on his way home. They forgot 2 meals and ALL of our drinks. Food was cold and soggy. All of our sandwiches looked like they had been stepped on. Called to ask for a refund and was told to contact who we ordered thru and hung up on, so I called back again and requested to speak with a manager sounded like the same woman who answered the first time and told me she gave us two extra fries in the bag and there was nothing else they could do "since we didn't order thru them" and hung up on me AGAIN. again we ordered thru their online ordering. Didn't realize 2 extra fries made up for the 6 drinks 3 mozzarella sticks and 3 sandwiches wet didn't receive but paid for. Will not ever be going here again and made sure I sent an email up to corporate as well. I've had good customer service and bad here. More bad than good. Good was where one time a lady gave my kids refills as we waited for an oil change. Other than that they keep MESSING UP SIMPLE ORDERS! I guess this is universal with checkers but I'm done. I literally asked for a large and a burger. I should have checked the bag before leaving. I drive off and it's a medium fry and half of that is full (no the fries weren't in the bag either). I said NO not again I went back and showed him that sorry medium fry and all he said was "oh" that's not a large. It was funny but not at the same time. I finally got a large. Then the order was wrong. Ordered no cheese, cheese on the burger. They did remake the burger. Drinks weren't even given to us. Window service is very slow.
