Had lunch today here. Did not know it would be an all day event. Glad we decided to eat on the patio and not drive thru. The speed in which the food comes is unbelievably slow. I guess it's their standard not to include napkins with their orders since several people didn't get any, including us. Getting out of the parking lot was awful. There was a line of cars and since their drive thru / parking lot is so small, we had to wait to back out of our parking spot. I was told by a reliable source that they were closed down by the health inspector over a year ago and had just opened back up after some remodeling and apparent cleaning of the interior. I thought I would give them a chance since I liked the one in Austin, Tx. but I was disappointed. I ordered the fish sandwich and it was barely warm and also hard around the edges of the fish itself because it wasn't fresh but that isn't what bothered me so much. It was the big piece of thick plastic I bit into. Yes, there was a big piece of plastic about two inches across in an almost circular shape. Plastic off a plastic bag it appeared. How the hell does something like that get on your sandwich?! I feel I purposely got the gringo special so fine, I won't go back there ever again. read more

Writing an update for this place because they're apparently just that amazing... I tried the cheese fries and they were delicious but the fries were soggy, so I recommend ordering the cheese on the side if you get those. Still pretty good, and the service was great as always. We go here on a regular basis now. But I also ordered their spicy chicken sandwich, which I was nervous about because I rarely eat sandwiches and I'm very picky about my chicken. I was so happy with it, that was the most delicious chicken sandwich I've had in a long time! Definitely ordering from this location again! read more

Fast Foodies know the difference is quite a misleading commercial. First of all the wait time (1 customer ahead of us) was quite slow. He stated he had been there 2 minutes waiting and still not greeted. Finally got to place the order, the person at the counter was very nice, she even asked me to confirm all of the items and the way they were to be prepared. Waited around 10 minutes (fast food?) to finally get our order after the person behind us got theirs. Get home, the bacon cheeseburger had no bacon, and onion (which is specifically stated NO ONION) on the receipt. The 4 double cheeseburgers; only 1 was correct, the other 3 had mustard. (I guess 25% isn't bad, right). Definitely mark this place off my list! read more

Next time i will drive to Brandon to go to Checkers! Took about 20 minutes just to order in Drive Thru. Before i go forward the building itself looks good with fresh paint but thats all. The parking lot is a mess! Only one drive thru window..? (first time i ever seen that) The parking lot looked gross they could of power washed it before opening i mean take a little pride people. The drive thew window was dirty not that hard to clean a small window. My order was right but half of the food wasn't fresh more cold then anything(the cheese wasn't even melted on my wives burger) and the rest was super greasy(fires halfway filled,Slushy not filled, no sauces. I even seen the manager take the fries out of the frier and dump them over without shaking the grease off. My years working in fast food I would be embarrassed to work here. If i was a secret shopper i would fail this place in a heart beat. My friend and I was really craving checkers, we were VERY EXCITED to get there and eat your wonderful food, sadly our experience wasn't so wonderful... Which was very disappointing.. I wanted to get the 4 for 3$ deal and I had asked a simple question if there was any way I can do an up size in the fries and I can pay the difference, I'm not trying to be cheap or anything I explained to the lady I will pay the difference! She immediately got extremely rude and yelled at me saying I CAN NOT DO THAT! she made feel so embarrassed there was other customers standing around and she made me feel like I just asked her a question that was really absurd and that I was stupid! After she stopped yelling at me, I then said wow! That was not necessary! She rolled her eyes and shut the window. So I'm standing there waiting for my food, I then get a small cup like kids meal size cup, when I know what size cup I should be getting, this is what I normally order is the 4 for 3$ meal with the chicken sandwich.. I didn't say anything about the size of cup, I let that go, but then I asked for the hot sauce dip and ranch and I was denied both of them!!! When I saw other customers getting their condiment sauces! I knew that lady working there was doing this on purpose!! This is not right! This is not how you treat customers! Maybe she was having a bad day or something, but all I did was ask a simple question and then called her out on her attitude towards me! Then when I wanted a refill on my "small" drink, I waited what seamed like forever. The same rude Manager from earlier made eye contact with me multiple times, making herself look busy. Visited on 10/23/17 at 12:30pm lunch. Cashier and general manager were both rude. Made a big deal about selling me cheese sauce said this location doesn't sell cheese on the side. Was told by her she doesn't eat cheese sauce and isn't going to order condiment cups for her store because it's not a full service restaurant. She finally did and it rang up chess sauce on the side on the receipt so it is something they sell! Unacceptable customer service! No one ever apologized and the apple pie was too hard to eat had to throw it away. Obliviously they don't use timers or just hold on too expired product. Tried to contact the owner or district manger/director of operations was called back by a shift manger who is under the general manger and she can't fix the issue because she is under the general manger. Very disappointed will not be returning to this location. I do not recommend this restaurant. I've been a checkers/rally's customer for over 20 years. I go for cheese fries. Very shocked to be treated this way and told I can't purchase a product I love to eat. read more
