This Wendy's is at exit when coming home so I tried using it for the convenience! I'll probably never go back after 3 tries. Order is not prepared correctly or they are out of something. Last trip tried to get the Oreo Brownie Frosty fusion. They now use an AI system in the drive thru that is horrible. Asked for crew member and told out of brownie mix even though I had complete order in AI. Tried to order their frosty tag and told out even with a sign right by the ordering system. As a reviewer myself I should definitely pay more attention to other reviews. And I usually don't read reviews about fast food restaurants but I will start after my last few experiences. So about this Wendy's, this is my second trip here and I was highly disappointed especially the way I was treated this last time. My first visit a few months ago my wife and nephew wanted Wendy's before we hit the road for a roadtrip. My nephew and I wanted the 5 for 5 and we both were missing our nuggets. I called back to report it and I was told that I'll be compensated on my next visit. Well the other day my wife again wanted Wendy's so I returned to this location. I ordered the 5 for 5 for me and my wife wanted the Krabby patty meal. Her meal was $10+ and you only received a burger, fries and a frosted drink. I actually got more food for my $5 dollar meal than she got on an $10+ meal. I then told the cashier that I was owed nuggets for two meals from a couple of months ago. She asked me why it took me so long to return, which I thought was rude. But I did give her a reason, I told her I was hospitalized to have a partial amputation of my right foot. She then decided to take care of it. So once I got to the pickup counter the gentleman there was very rude. He asked me what did I need and o said I'm waiting for my order. He said there's your order on the counter. So I looked at my bag to confirm that my order was right this time. It was determined that I was missing my cup for my drink and my wife's frozen drink as well as condiments. I told him that and he threw my condiments into my bag and slammed my cup down on the counter. I then was waiting for my nuggets which was rang up separately and he said "what do you need now". I said I'm waiting on another order which he replied, there are no more ordered for you. That's when the cashier came over to him and told him that I was waiting on two additional orders of nuggets. When I was handed my order I was missing my condiments and I mentioned that to him and he again threw my condiments into my bag like he was shooting basketball. I don't know about you all but I'm tired of the fast food industry hiring people that act like they don't want to be there. I noticed that some fast food restaurants are starting people off at $15-17 an hour. I made $3.50 an hour when I worked fast food and we were all pleasant. I ordered two sandwiches. A baconator, and a single hamburger with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and mustard. The baconator was filled correctly, except the meat was very old and there was a paltry amount of bacon. The single had just wrong ingredients. It was also dry. Now, I understand them not having lettuce because of some sort of lettuce shortage. But they don't tell you that when you're in the drive-through. Also I ordered mustard, and they gave me mayo. I would not be surprised if the patties were cooked for lunch, and I went through the drive-through about 5 PM. Check out the pictures, do you remember how good Wendy's used to be? Well , no more. Went to this location 7/24/2025. I had spent the entire day in the Emergency Room with my spouse and I just wanted to grab a late lunch snack. I have Celiac Disease and usually trust I can go to Wendy's and grab a bacon & cheese baked potato and be safe and get a good meal. That was NOT what happened today. I saw a woman bring baked potatoes from the back and put on the counter so the girl could make mine next. She had just placed two buns on the roller and went to touch the potato. I asked her if she could please change her gloves. She touched the potato anyway and rolled her eyes and huffed at me. I asked to speak with a manager and she went three steps away and said - she wants to talk to you. She thinks I'm going to change my gloves after every order. The manager didn't come. I asked again to speak with a manager and finally this woman walkes up to the counter ALREADY with an attitude. I started to explain that someone with Celiac cannot have cross contamination with wheat (hamburger bun) and I just asked if she could change her gloves. I wasn't mean or demanding. The manager rolled her eyes at me and I said obviously you don't care either. Just give me my money back. She refunded my food and as I was about to leave some customers behind me started yelling at me too. Why? Because for my own specific health issue (that is a disability mind you) I asked one girl to change her gloves to make my baked potato. I will NEVER step foot in another Wendy's and I will be taking this up the chain of command. Food allergies and Celiac disease are very real and had I eaten that potato, it could have caused irreparable damage to my body. Do better. read more

I know I eat a lot of Wendy's when I'm driving and i'm sorry for that. As an elite Yelper, I should be doing more to eat local. I'll try harder. But Wendy's sure is convenient and you can order/customize on their app, which you generally can't do at the local shop. And that's what I did today, pulling in to a curbside pickup spot after placing my order on the app. Doublestack with no ketchup, six piece nuggets with no sauce, no drink. Super easy. A few minutes later, the lady delivered my sealed paper bag to the window and I was on my way. Quick and accurate. My only complaint is that the nuggets - as usual, lately - were not very hot. I used to think of Wendy's as one of the better fast food choices, but now it seems everything has gone downhill. Dirty interior, slow service, food not made as requested. At this location you had to use the kiosk and pay with a card. Not a problem for me, but the older man in front of me struggled terribly and finally left without ordering. I ordered our food and customized each sandwich. There were only 2 people in front of me, but I saw her making our sandwiches and they just sat there in the tray while the worker was doing I don't know what. The fries did come fresh and were hot. We opened our sandwiches and they were both loaded with everything. There were condiments that neither of us like or care about, but they were all on the sandwiches. Didn't have time to wait for new sandwiches, so that was annoying and wasteful too. You just wanna shove stuff at you and then I guess they're saving so much money with the computer than the price is all went up so high. All I wanted was two hamburgers, single patties, no cheese. This was the FILTHIEST Wendy's I've ever been in. We were in need of a rest stop and lunch and pulled in here. Filthy, wet, sticky bathrooms. Dried splashes on rest room walls were old and gross. Filthy, greasy fingerprinted windows everywhere from ceiling to floor. Floor so sticky, everyone's shoes made sticky noises. Soda machine hadn't been cleaned in weeks with dried cola splashes and ants everywhere. No napkins. No ketchup or cups. All tabletops not cleared or wiped. We took our sandwiches and ate in the car. Went to Wendy's to order 2 fish sandwiches and while the young man helping us was very courteous, the fish sandwich was awful. The fish breading was very very dark in color, hard, flat and dried out, I'm thinking it was leftover or reheated. The sandwich did not in anyway resemble the picture posted on their order screen. Update 3/5/22 Steer clear and far far away! Unless you're looking for frustration and a long long wait this Wendy's is for you. This will most likely be the last visit to this location. They offer curbside pickup but they leave you hanging for over 30 minutes just to come inside to grab your order. Good luck if it's there. The drive through is just as long if not longer. I can't wait inside because of small children but just from experience it's a hot mess in there. The current state of things may be a major contributing factor but it's no call to treat your paying customers as if they're lucky to even get something from you. If you can't even sustain operating at 50% efficiency why operate at all? You're just tarnishing your name and product at that point. read more

Worst fast food experience and the layout is worse than anything I've ever seen before

Very long slow moving line in the drive thru, maybe because they're near the interstate. They have a family size chili that's supposed to feed 4-6 people for $10 or 50 chicken nuggets for $10. The $1.29 spicy chicken sandwich was not good. The lettuce was warm, the chicken was not spicy, and the bun was way bigger than it needed to be. Spend more money and get something with better taste from their menu. The staff was friendly and nice, although they did try to overcharge me about $2 at first. The 4 spicy chicken for $4 advertised on their road sign is actually for 1 chicken sandwich, nuggets, fries and a drink. Not for 4 chicken sandwiches. What a joke this place is. First off there is no one to take your order. Having to touch a germ infested kiosk is the only way to order. Then we stand in line waiting for our order for over 15 minutes while those behind us were served. We tried to get the attention of a worker, but finding one that could speak English was tough. Finally the manager came to inform us they were out of the baked potatoes that we'd ordered. It took over 15 minutes to figure that out? Long wait for poor food. It took the staff forever to make the food, the manager was trying to redirect everyone to do what clearly needed done. Like filling the empty lemonade - that clearly a customer could see. But the biggest fail? Sending me out the door with a kids meal without the meal! We waited 30+ minutes in line, and all of a sudden with 2 cars in front of us the line just stopped for a good 15 minutes. We attempted to go inside but all of the doors were locked. Ended up calling and they told us "We are not taking orders because we are doing shift change". Are you serious? Who closes during shift change. Then they told us, "You haven't been waiting 45 minutes" and were rude and condescending and arguing when we asked them. This Wendy's has the worst service. Slow and they almost never get my order correct. Bad management.

I give this location two stars because our burgers were ok and the fries were good. The overall service was marginal. One of the freestyle dispenser was out of service and was leaking water all over the floor. The employees kept mopping the area with a dirty smelly mop that was applying a thin layer of grease and I felt as if I would slip and fall. They did have "slippery area" signage around the area. I watched several older folks actually slide on the area. They needed a dry fresh mop to soak up the water, not a smelly dirty mop. The ketchup dispenser was empty and I had to ask for ketchup packets for our fries. Several of the table tops were dirty and e had to wipe down our own table before we could eat. Note: it was a Sunday at lunch time but the store was not busy!! Note: The burgers were ok but they were dry and for a bacon burger called "the baconator" you would expect BACON! Each of our double bacon burgers they had 2 peace of bacon and what liked some bacon bits. I personally will not pay that much money for that sandwich again! Stopped for quick lunch today. Food not that good, service very poor. What struck me is the number of employees there but not one of them seems to have the job of cleaning tables in the dining room or wiping up the floor, which gets hit with spattering ice cubes every time a customer fills a drink. I just ordered for delivery 3 Apple Pecan salads with 3 packs of nut with each salad, and a chicken sandwich with barbecue sauce on the side. I got 2 of the 9 packs of nuts, NO barbecue sauce, plus as a bonus they didn't put cheese on any of the 3 salads. When I called they told me they only had 2 packs of nut left when the order was made (seriously), and that I orders them w/o cheese. I'm looking at my copy of the receipt, and funny but it says nothing about deleting the cheese from the salad, but Jason the manager says his copy does. Every single time I go to this Wendy's there is a problem. They don't want to take your order, since there kiosks, so they just let you stand there for 10 minutes and ignore you. Today the delivery was for $44.50 and not one thing I wanted to eat. SAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Next time you run out of something how about pick up the phone and ask if you still want $45 worth the food that's all wrong. These people don't make $3.35 anymore. Unfortunately this location was terrible. I've worked in the restaurant industry for years so i understand the stress and anxiety it can put on you as an employee. We arrived at the drive thru a few minutes before close not knowing they were closing so early and the lady over the intercom was terribly rude when we asked her what time they were closing. It was a few minutes before. She could have notified us that they already shut everything down but instead all she said was "we're closed, BYE!" . Whoever trained her upon hiring seemed to have done a poor job or none at all. Very rude. I ordered the new Big Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger togo from the Wendy's at 3725 Sun City Center Blvd, Ruskin, FL 33573. I got it home, opened the wrapper and what i saw was a DISGUSTING representation of what the burger (based on the advertisements) is supposed to look like. After the refrigerator being empty for a very long time they eventually just removed it. This location has never improved and is always in disrepair. I wouldn't be surprised if they appeared on Dirty Dining as the staff are always going from the register and handling money to making sandwiches without washing their hands. They also dump unpurchased Frosties back into the top of the machine so it can be reused for another customer. read more
