I came here with a group of 3 and we ordered 2 Passionfruit Sugarcane and 1 Dragonfruit Strawberry Sugarcane to drink, alongside that we got food. We got the Bun Dau Mam Tom, Banh Xeo, and Banh Beo. I must say I was not disappointed at all with any of the food choices. The Bun Dau Mam Tom was rich and flavorful with the shrimp paste, which complimented the meat and vegetables that came with it. The Banh Beo was nice and savory, which offered a bit of oily kick! The Banh Xeo was nice and crispy. These oily options paired nicely with the cool and refreshing sugarcane. If you get hungry when needing a cool drink Mia and More is the place to stop by!

Parking is easy with a huge lot out front and they sell some Viet street food along their drink menu. They have a small seating area next to the prep area with low stools to really nail the street food vibe, but the AC wasn't super strong in the building. We pulled up during the heat wave a while back on a Saturday afternoon and honestly had a pretty decent line the whole time we were there, we ended up waiting 20+ minutes. If you've never had sugarcane juice before, it's actually not overly sweet in spite of it's name and somehow manages to be extremely refreshing. I'd be prepared to drop 10 bucks per drink, but they are absolutely delicious. Highly recommend all the fruity sugarcane juices, but my personal go-to is the kumquat version which adds just the right amount of sour kick to balance out the flavor.

Let me say I went through my emo phase years back and I liked certain songs but even back then I would think this was weird: I dont think Hollywood Undead singing about unaliving themselves and the different ways they'd do it is an appropriate song to play in an icecream shop... It felt so weird. All the songs were the grunge emo type, which I get is someone's personal taste, but you'd think the owners would monitor what is being played. The atmosphere is so different. The price is insane for what the product is. I got the mango sticky rice and before they would put a cute thai tea bear or something on top, with a lot of rice. Now its this tiny little sample size cup of rice, nothing cute about the food, so overpriced. I get why they almost never have people there anymore. I don't know what happened but the brand took a major hit.

There was a small line greeting us, but the drink makers are efficient, and we had our juice within a couple of minutes. Traditional Sugarcane Juice ($6.55) - Fresh squeezed and strained right in front of us, this juice tastes just like how it does in Southeast Asia. It's vegetal, it's grassy, it's really sweet, just how I like it on a hot and humid summer day (which technically wasn't the case here, but no matter). I've tried a couple of other sugarcane juice shops in the US in the last couple of years and this one tastes by far the most similar to my trips to Malaysia and Singapore. It's completely unadulterated; it can't get more fresh than this. One thing I especially love about this place - they don't dilute the drink with tons of ice. There's just enough to cool the drink and a bit more to keep it cool for another 15 minutes or so. It's a far cry from most other places that pack the cup with ice to the brim. Even after all the ice had melted, it was still sweet and refreshing! Natalie's is a great place to pick up a cold drink. If I'm craving sugarcane, this is where I'll head to in the future.

The spicy version's a little too hot for my taste, but if that's your thing you won't be disappointed. The one negative point (besides the long waits) is that the braised pork rice bowl was 80% rice with a much smaller proportion of pork than I would've liked. I got here with friends at around 8pm, and people were already lining up at the two kiosks to put their orders in. Server told us they were out of bubble waffles for the day, but what we really wanted was something sweet to drink. I got their strawberry matcha milk latte with less ice. This came down to a price of $6.50 before tax, definitely less expensive than most other places that serve matcha as of late. Having a sip of it, I could see why; they don't use ceremonial-grade matcha and the drink left a thick coating inside my mouth (I was overhydrated that day fyi). The strawberry puree wasn't watered down by the milk but the strawberry tones tasted heavily artificial even with the chopped strawberries. The cup thankfully wasn't too small, and I could still finish my drink though I wasn't satisfied with the quality. It looks like they're more well-known - and well-reviewed - for their mango-based offerings and bingsu in general, so I'm taking this as a one-off visit and would still try to come back for their other stuff.

First of all, I didn't realize they have TWO locations! one in Tukwila, which I go to pretty often, and this one right by Alki. But y'all, WHAT IN THE TARNATIONS?! The Alki location is such a VIBE! It was a beautiful sunny day, and sitting there with the warm weather, Vietnamese music playing, and the food coming out... I swear I felt like I was back in Southeast Asia for a minute. I do wish they decorated the outdoor seating area a little more to really lean into that tropical Southeast Asian vibe because the location has SO much potential, but honestly, the atmosphere was already giving. And here's what surprised me: I didn't realize Natalie's at Alki serves REAL FOOD! We got: Crab & Shrimp Fried Rice SO GOOD. Flavorful, packed with seafood, and definitely hit the spot. Mango Salad , Y'ALL!! THIS ONE?! The combination of fresh mango and avocado on a sunny day was PERFECT. Sweet, fresh, creamy, refreshing. I could've eaten the whole bowl myself! Literally almost did had to share LOL! we got Fries because honestly, you can never go wrong with fries. And of course, you already know we had to get the drinks! Their kumquat sugarcane drink is always a good choice. They also have gelato at this location, which I didn't even know! So now I already have another excuse to come back and try more of their menu. Tukwila location does have food but menus are a little different, so now I definitely need to go back and compare! Overall, Natalie's Alki is definitely worth checking out, especially if you're spending the day at Alki Beach. What makes this shine is that despite the generous amount of mango the jasmine tea also shined through and perfectly pairs with the rest of the drink. It's creamy and delicious and the sago is a good addition as well. I highly recommend this popular concoction! You order at the front through a kiosk and they call your number.
