The bar has a lot of potential, but the service needs to match the quality of the drinks.

They don't serve food, but you're welcome to bring something in or have it delivered. Plenty of parking is available on street, or in a city lot, but there are several restaurants/bars and other businesses in the immediate area.

Parking is available in front, in back, and on street. NOTE: They do allow smoking inside. There's a good selection of bottle beers, but nothing on tap. Of course, you can get shots and simple cocktails, but they didn't have the ingredients to make an Old Fashioned or Manhattan. Drink prices were very reasonable ($13 for a Malibu & Coke and a Mudslide). We asked about food and were told that on occasion one of the women working there will bring something in or fire up a grill, but it's not a regular thing. Overall, it's a fun neighborhood bar with friendly service, and an intimate place to gather, hang out, and meet/make new friends. We'll be back.

I used to say I never wanted to go back there ever again, after one experience I had with standing up at the bar for over a half-hour. My cousin took me back, and ever since my second time, I've been going there almost every week since. I would recommend getting there early, as the crowd starts pouring in around 10 or 11. If you get there after 12, your chance at getting in are slim to none. The bar tenders know how to pour a stiff drink, and the prices are great. This used to be my favorite spot. It was a nice, chill divebar with a cool jukebox. And although the bartenders are still awesome this place is starting to get a little ghetto and it seems like they have a dj every night now. The djs Ive heard here are pretty good but I used to come here to have a drink with friends, talk and listen to cool tunes on the jukebox. I grew up right next to this bar, and now it's my go-to local spot when I am hosting friends. The drinks are great, everyone is very friendly, and I don't break the bank there after drinking for more than a few hours. They host a comedy night that is always fun. What can I say, it's a dive bar. But not like the average dive bar, this one lays a bit higher than the regulars. The mix drinks are perfectly prepared. Beer prices are where they should be and the crowd is always a good time not to mention the bartenders are pretty cool as long as you don't act like a drunken fool. read more

The cold beers (Corona, Dos Equis, Modelo) in bottles were delicious, especially on a hot day, & at a discounted price during happy hour. The bartender (the owner's wife) kindly made me some free popcorn. There was a jukebox playing Mexican music & it was entertaining to see someone singing along to some songs. I enjoyed my time there & was thankful that my friend had invited me. I really like him & liked it even more watching him play pool & hit the ball really hard at times. And I learned some more Spanish too. So my mind changed from 1 to 5 stars. Thanks for your generosity & thanks for treating him well!

The questions and then we were let in. Before that, it's a 10.00 cash entrance fee. Inside, I was surprised how big the place was. A massive bar area on one side, a big patio for smoking and a large dance floor as well as a stage above it. We had a little section that was reserved which I believe maybe the only section that offers that. There were loads of bartender as well as waitress walking around taking orders. When we arrived, it was pretty busy to begin with and they offered free line dancing lesson. That's around 7-9pm I believe. Within half an hour after arriving around 7, the place was packed. And I mean packed. This place was lively and well known I guess. Dance floor was packed which it's suppose to be. Waitress walking around did help with the ordering process. As for my first time, it wasn't bad. The crowd was good and it was easy to get a drink.

It may not seem like much, but it adds up when everything keeps getting more expensive while our income stays the same. Even so, we still enjoy coming here every now and then. One thing we really appreciate is that the pool tables are in excellent condition. That's a big plus for us, and it's one of the reasons we keep coming back.
