Crispy Chicken Pad Thai Lunch
Donna M.

Chicken Basil Fried Rice - lunch Chicken Pad Thai - lunch Very good - asked for veg to be cut fine, which they did.

Solid spot for some thai food. Got the crispy duck, some spring rolls, wonton soup, and some sushi. Everything was really good. The service was a little uneven. The man's service was good - the woman was rushing us. Would return however.

This place has the best pork fried dumplings in the word. I would order 1000 of them if I could. The server was incredibly nice and the food came out fast. Overall I would recommend to anyone!

Mango Stir-Fry with Shrimp and Chatta Box Chow Mein with Pork

First visit, based on high recommendation from a friend. We'll be back! Pork Chow Mein with spinach noodles was great! My wife had Mango stir fry with shrimp and enjoyed it. Reasonably priced.

I had yet another amazing dinner here and so much to choose from so I have decided to try one dish different in the future! My waitress was so personable and helpful that I felt I was in her own home! Food and its preparation has to been experienced! Thank you!

Chicken Super Crazy Pad Thai Lunch
Kevino C.

Friendly staff. Fast service. Fairly priced, delicious Asian food. Got the crazy pad thai with chicken for around $13. Super flavorful and huge portions. Definitely will be back for lunch.

Speedy and friendly service. The restaurant is little but not too tight. Entrees are BIG, our 4 kids split 2 entrees with plenty left over. Sushi is flavorful and beautiful. Definitely coming back!

This was a gem. To be a city gal and visit your family in a suburb you never know what your gonna get! Let me say I don't need to eat at 99's again! So my cousin recommended this place. It's small inside no frills. We started with a a tempura platter. Man it was delish and the sauces were bomb. Then I ordered the pa ka. Holy cow it was so good. True authentic Thai food. This place should be way more popular for how bomb the food was!!!! I will be back when I come to see my extended family. This Cali gal is a fan!!!

Spider mani

Spider maki was terrible. There was some sort of plastic or shell throughout. Also website doesn't say anything about it being fried. I don't think this is good. I hope I don't get sick

Yum! One of my favorite places for sushi! The staff is super friendly. It's a bit small but the food is so good, it's worth being smushed!

I've had a lot of Thai food in my time. But Chattah boxes food makes all other food look like prostitution.

Love their chicken fried rice. It is not greasy like some other places. It hardly feels like you are eating something fried at all.

Overall, we were really happy with the meal and there were a couple of dishes that genuinely stood out. The Samui Fried Rice was probably one of my favorites. You could immediately taste the wok hei. The rice had that smoky, slightly charred flavor that you only really get when fried rice hits a properly hot wok. It makes such a difference compared to fried rice that tastes like it was simply tossed together. The shrimp were a good size, the vegetables still had some texture, and everything was seasoned well without being overly salty. The Pad Gra Paow was another standout for the same reason. Tons of wok hei and a really nice savory basil flavor throughout the dish. I love when you can actually taste that something came straight out of a ripping hot wok, and both this and the fried rice had that quality. Definitely two dishes I would order again. We also tried the Spicy Basil Fried Cod, which came with a generous piece of fried fish and plenty of vegetables. The cod held up nicely against the sauce without becoming completely soggy. We also ordered the Choo Chee Duck, which was rich and flavorful and a nice change from the usual noodle and rice dishes we tend to order at Thai restaurants. The Yum Beef Salad was a nice contrast to everything else. Lots of beef with cucumber and herbs, and the brighter, tangier flavors helped break up some of the heavier dishes. One thing I especially appreciated was how accommodating they were with spice levels. My fiancée grew up eating Hong Kong-style food and her definition of spicy is basically... no spice . Some Thai restaurants say they can make something mild and it still comes out with enough heat that she can't really enjoy it. Check In actually listened. Her food came out genuinely mild without tasting bland, while the dishes we wanted with more heat could still be made accordingly. If you're dining with people who have very different spice tolerances, that's a big plus. And definitely get a Thai iced tea. Sweet, creamy, cold, and exactly what I wanted alongside the spicier and more savory dishes. We finished with the coconut pudding, which was a nice little sweet ending after ordering way too much food. The restaurant itself isn't huge, but it has a cozy, casual feel. Service was friendly, and considering how many different dishes we ordered, everything came out well. Overall, Check In Thai Cuisine is a really solid little Thai spot that would be easy to overlook from the outside. The biggest thing that would bring me back is the wok cooking. That smoky wok hei in the fried rice and gra paow was easily the highlight of the meal. If it were my first visit, I'd start with the Samui Fried Rice, Pad Gra Paow, and a Thai iced tea. Those were the winners for me. We'll definitely be back, especially since we're going to be spending more time around the Plymouth area.

We ordered the **Soft Shell Crab Mango Salad, Pad See Ew with Duck, and Red Curry with Tofu**. Everything was good, and we enjoyed trying a variety of dishes. The soft-shell crab mango salad had a nice combination of crispy crab, fresh vegetables, and sweet mango. The Pad See Ew with duck was savory with a hint of sweetness, while the red curry with tofu was creamy and flavorful with coconut milk and vegetables. The service was good, and we appreciated the pleasant dining experience. However, our biggest downside was the portion sizes, which felt a bit small, especially considering the prices. We found the restaurant a little pricey for what you get and would have liked more generous portions to make the meal feel more worthwhile. Overall, the food and service were good, but the smaller portions and higher prices are something to keep in mind. It's worth checking out if you're craving Thai food in Braintree, though we wish the value for the price were a little better.
