A fantastic balance of bold tangy flavors and crispy-soft textures with the raw diced onions giving a sweet sharpness. My only gripe is I requested it to be spicy but it was more mild-medium spicy. Maybe they thought we couldn't handle the heat so requesting desi spicy next time. Wanted to try the chole bhature here and decided to get for early lunch. The person making this was so nice and smiled all the time! We sat outside the truck they have some seating arrangement, quite cozy! Comes with a bowl of chole/chana, a little salad, pickle and raita and two big bhatures. The chole are not overly spicy and they dont burn out throat which I appreciate and like, they are appropriately spiced unlike other well known chat places in Sunnyvale. I stopped by here with a friend. Upon reviewing past Yelp reviews and their marketing banners around the spot, I believed Kadhi Kachori is among their most popular items so we decided to order one and share. This was our first time at this place so we're a bit skeptic about the taste, so decided to start with just one. It's a unique combination. Punjabi kadhi with kachori, I've never had this before. But true to their marketing it was just fabulous. The kachori was amazingly crunchy even when dipped in kadhi. And kadhi by itself had amazing taste. But I do have a feedback. I believed it was quite expensive considering it a small snack/chaat. It stands at a big $12 ticket. Now by itself you may not think of it as much but with taxes and tips added to around $14.5 it actually affects your pocket for a light snack. Alternatively, if you aren't still able to image it as expensive, consider that kachori and samosa are almost equivalent in efforts. And you can easily get a samosa however superior the quality under $3-4, and the bowl is so small that it may not have more than 1-1.5 laddles of kadhi. So for that reason I thought it's priced quite high, I'd rather enjoy a good paneer tikka or soya chaap at some other food trucks or in an actual seat down restaurant. read more

I recently tried food from this food truck because I was excited to see "Indori Shikanji" on their menu (Indore is my hometown :)) I tried the kadhi kachori and chole kulcha. The kadhi kachori was pretty nice! Chole kulcha felt very simple and homely although I was looking for a more spiced up version at a food truck. I got takeout and while waiting for my food to get ready, the food truck owner was so kind and offered me a fresh bowl of Kadhi Kachori (he insisted I try it hot and fresh vs in a takeout) and hot masala chai! read more

I recently saw on social media outlets that there is a food truck selling kadhi kachori and I came here to try the same. We ordered Pani Puri, tea and kadhi kachori. The pani Puri was good with delicious water flavor of mint and spices. You can also get a refill if you want. Came after reading the amazing reviews today for the first time. Really tasty and amazing food truck inside a gas station area. Do not confuse them for the momo food truck nearby, they are towards the end. Once you enter, you order and pay on a big tablet and wait for your name to be called. There are3-4 small tables next to the truck, though the street side way of eating it is on your car trunk hood or sitting side the car. My review of the food: - Kadhi kachori: this was a unique dish to this place and was simply outstanding. Never tried this before - Aloo onion paratha: simply the best paratha I have eaten in my life. Came with a dollop of butter on top the way I hand tried in Dhabas in Punjab. - Chole bhature: was nice, the kids liked it. Also came with salad, pickle , raita and onions - Pav Bhaji: while not bad, this is not their specialty and I would give it a miss. I tried to find different ingredients in it while waiting there. It seems they have 11 ingredients in that tea. We got Parathas, chole bhature and veg burger. Parantha a were good but had too much garam masala. Chole bhature was very good. Wish I had eaten there and not done pickup. Chole bhature tastes better when hot I think. The food over here was really nice, especially the Bhature and the Aloo paratha. The service was definitely faster than some places, but some food items took a bit longer. The free chai (I think it was Kava chai with Ilaichi or Cardamom). The ambience was also really nice, with the "tent" and heaters and the truck in front. Kadi Kachori was very very tasty. I think it's the best in Silicon Valley. There's a decent place to sit down and eat also. We also ordered Poori and channa, and Dahi chat. Poori and Batura costs the same for same quantity which is a bit unusual, which makes poori a bit pricey comparatively. But, taste wise it was really good. Perfectly cooked and very crunchy. The point of going to a food truck which is rated well is in search of authentic flavor not to feel bad after eating. We ordered chole bhature and kadi kachori and unfortunately both of them lacked flavor. The price for two orders were around $30 which is high compared to similar restaurants in the area and especially given that this is a food truck with sub par taste. White girl review: Take it for what it is, I'm not any expert, I just like a good deal of Indian food. I stopped by for a quick dinner and was pleased with the selection. I could have used more description on many of the items. There's plenty of room on the order screen for some details about what's included in the dish. I ordered a paratha and an order of samosas. I thought I ordered both "no spice" but I think I ordered one as "mild" because the samosas definitely had some heat. They were tasty, if a little doughy in places, and the chutney was delicious; I need to ask for more next time, one little cup wasn't quite enough and I don't like the other dip (the greens one). The paratha was delicious, as was the dipping sauce for it. I'd like to try more of the parathas, I just need to research what's in them a bit more. One thing, the board on the side of the truck listed a daily special, but it wasn't anywhere to be found on the menu of the ordering kiosk. There are a few covered tables right in front of the truck, which look comfortable enough but I got mine to go. It's not fancy, but it's sufficient and clean. I plan to go back soon. We loved talking to Rajan, really nice guy. He'll keep you engaged if you want. He offered us some tastings(some people have abused it and he apparently ignores or doesn't care, and I hope this passion of his only helps him for good). The KADHI KACHORI is a must try. The mild sweet and sour kadhi taste is amazing. Oh! you can ask him to make it spicy as well and he'll make it all Rajasthani style. Chai was kadak . We'd also tried the the veg kebabs(you'll love it if you like cheesy kebabs), pani puri and the thali (daal, chole paneer, kofta, roti, rice). Kofta wasn't up to the mark. The pani was flavorful and the thali was homestyle food. Everything is pretty mild in spice levels. Also, in case you're in a rush, I would suggest order ahead coz they make things pretty fresh and it did take a long time. read more

We went in for dinner and head a great experience. We ordered kadhi kachori (first time ever trying this dish), gobhi paratha, Chana bhature and chai. Everything was very good including the hospitality of Rajan ji who stopped by and chatted with us. Kadhi kachori was flavorful and spicy, Chana tasted so good and different and we got got two bhatures, chai was laung (clove) heavy which was welcome on a cold evening and Gobhi paratha came with a dollop of butter and raita. Rarely do I like a food truck and this one was awesome. Owner Rajen gave us complimentary hot chai which hit home on this cold winter night. We ordered four items on a modern touch screen mounted on the truck: Kadhi Kachori, Veg Kabobs, Mooli Paratha and Chana Bhatura. We went back and sat in the car to escape the cold night and we got text updates whenever the item was ready. Kadhi Kachori was very unique, perfectly spiced and we polished the last morsel. The Veg Kabob had some kind of a cheese stuffing which we did not care for. The hot off the tavva Mooli paratha with a dollop of butter was outstanding as well and we could not make a better one at home. My son who is very picky about his chole bhatura thought it was good but a couple other local restaurants make it better. Look for the Chatpata truck in the corner and don't get confused by the Momo truck elsewhere in the same parking lot. read more

I had noticed the Chatpata food truck a couple of months ago because it was at the same strip mall as my favorite momo truck. I decided to go check out their menu and have the momo truck as the backup. After some quizzing of the man in the truck, I chose the Paapdi Chaat and the Samosa Chaat. Both were delicious and satisfying. Interesting flavor profiles and balanced soft and crunchy textures. Better than the restaurant Chaat places around here. As good as the New Delhi Chaat food truck.
