Great local spot for chaat! Definitely gets pretty busy at peak times so come earlier if you're a big group but generally pretty fast service. Would recommend!

One of my favorite spots to get chole bhature and pani puri. I have yet to try anything else here because the two dishes are amazingggg. Pretty casual interior with nice staff.

This is my favorite chaat place at the moment. Went 2x this week as I felt too lazy to cook in this warm weather (no a/c at home). Dahi sev puri has it all. Crispy yet delicate puri, stuffed with boiled potatoes and chickpeas. Yogurt and 2 types of chutney brings a mix of savory, tangy , sweet and bit of heat. This is my go to dish. This most recent visit I decided to live on the edge and try something different and got the bread pakoras. This was really delicious as well. Potato and peas curry between sliced bread which is dipped in a batter made of chickpeas flour and flash fried. This felt like less heavy version of samosa. It's also served with date and cilantro sauces on the side. Casual ambiance, plenty of seating both indoor and out, fair amount of parking but have definitely seen it fill up during peak hours.

An Indian cuisine fast food/street food restaurant. The order is to be placed at the counter. We were 4 adults and one kid, ordered a load of cold beverages - Salted Lassi, Sweet Lassi, Jal Jeera, Mango Lassi, Thumbs Up. Each one tasted well. Appetisers- Papdi Chaat, Dahi Batata Sev Puri, 2 sets of the Bread Pakoras - all were tasty. Entrée - A couple of sets of Chole Bhature, Aloo Paratha, Aloo Kachori, Chole Tikki. Aloo Kachori and Chole Tikki, did not taste great; also the chole were runny & not well prepared (wished they tasted better, as they were coupled with 3 of the main dishes ordered that day). Service was prompt, food was fresh and served hot. We may go back for a quick bite, when in the vicinity again.

I tried chole bature. Honestly the bature was just too oily. I understand what I ordered but you can't serve me bature when touched just feels messy and dropping oil. The papdi chat on the other hand was reasonably decent. Ambience is average.

Chole Bhature, Pav Bhaji, Paapdi chaat, sweet lassi and my dearest husband with his Thumbs up!

Absolutely loved my experience here! The food tasted incredibly authentic--every bite felt like a trip straight to the local streets of Delhi. From the perfectly spiced Chole Bhature (that came with a Mirch pickle- uff) to the rich, buttery Pav Bhaji, the refreshing Dahi Papdi Chaat (with exclusive Imli Ki chutney) , and the sweet, creamy lassi--everything was just spot on. What truly stood out was the super fast service and the high level of hygiene, which made the whole dining experience even better. The manager uncle from Punjabi Bagh- Delhi was the sweetest, and serving staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout. Just before I finish, it was raining today, the weather had a chilly breeze and their outdoor seating was a cherry on the top. Great food, great people, and great vibes--definitely coming back! Just wish they were a little more pocket friendly, and I'd literally be here everyday!

Great spot for Indian snacks, we're a big fan of Dahi puri so this will be a new go to on rotation. They have a lot of different options and they are veg/vegan friendly. There's plenty of seating with a great outside space and the service was quick.

Came here today with some friends. I'm not too familiar with Indian food, but my friends took me here to experience it. I honestly had such a great experience. As we arrived, they had a decent parking outside the restaurant. They had a good amount of tables inside and out. We ordered Samosa Chaat, Sev Puri, and Aloo Paratha. The Sev Puri was my favorite. It had such a great texture and a perfect amount of kick in spice. The Samosa Chaat and Aloo Paratha were also very tasty. For drinks, we got the Mango Lassi which was very flavorful. They also do have water you are able to get on the side. The service was very helpful to answer any questions we had and brought out the food very quickly. I definitely would recommend this place as their food was super delicious and would try to come back in the future if I am ever nearby again!

Prices are high for the quality of food. They serve you in plastic for $15 appetizers. If you just want Channa Bhatura - this is the place. But I made a mistake of ordering other things. The raw besan batter in paneer pakora was still present after frying. $4 for coffee? they mixed Nescafé + water + milk infront of me and gave it. Pav Bhajji was very mid. Aloo tikki chat was okay, nothing special. The ambience is also very outdated, the floor tiles make the place look from the 80's. The place needs serious upgrades if they're charging so high for their dishes.

Delhiwala Chaat is one of our go-to places for comfort food. We usually order to-go, and our favorites are consistent: Chhole Bhature for me, Paneer Paratha for my husband, and Aloo Paratha for the kids. What stands out the most is that it doesn't taste like typical restaurant food. Instead, it reminds me of the hearty breakfasts I used to enjoy at my Punjabi friends' homes in India, lovingly made by their moms. If you're craving simple, wholesome North Indian comfort food that feels like home, Delhiwala Chaat is a must-try!

The best of the bunch was the dahi batata puri, but it still didn't quite hit the spot. It was definitely on the sweeter side and I felt like the dahi/yogurt wasn't as creamy as I prefer. The chinese bhel was okay, but didn't have much flavor. Lastly the ragda pattice had so much potential. The flavor was there, but it was insanely spicy- even as someone with a med/high spice tolerance. You could feel the burn traveling down to your stomach. All of us found it unbearable and worse of all felt the affects for a day after. Perhaps we ordered the wrong dishes but after the all the discomfort of the meal- I don't feel inclined to return.

Yesterday, I ordered a Vada Pav, Shalimar Egg Mughlai (on their recommendation from their list of egg dishes), and a Veg Frankie -- and honestly, none of it lived up to the hype(5 stars currently) or price point. Vada Pav: It was okay. The "mirchi" served alongside was literally a raw Thai green chili. Really? At least pan-fry it with some salt and oil to enhance the flavor. For over $10 with taxes, this was already pricier than better Vada Pavs you can get at places like Elco Drive, and yet it offered nothing exceptional. Frankie: This one made me genuinely angry. It was a soggy maida roll stuffed with the same aloo masala from the Vada Pav, plus a few sad shreds of cabbage. That's it. And they had the audacity to charge $12 for it. ($1.50 for cheese, lol I am glad we didn't add)This isn't a Frankie -- it's a lazy repackaged Vada Pav with no flavor or creativity. They threw in some pickled jalapeños on the side, which only added confusion. If you're running a fusion menu(well partially), at least mention it upfront instead of misleading customers. Egg Shalimar Mughlai: At $13, it was passable but still not impressive. The bun on the side was not toasted or anything. Better than the Frankie, but nothing I'd recommend or return for. I was so excited for trying this place but, overall, this place is overpriced, underwhelming, and frankly disappointing. If your Vada Pav and Frankie are practically identical, maybe inform customers before they order both. I wouldn't recommend Maya Kitchen -- save your time, appetite and money and go somewhere else. Thank me later.

Chicken fried rice - 3.5/5, I requested this to be lighter in oil, and that probably took away some of the flavor. I felt it was slightly bland and could've had more flavor. The amount of chicken was also slightly less, I wish there was more. I would ask them to make it spicy, if possible. I've also tried both the Chowmein and the Gobi Manchurian from here at a friend's place and I recommend them. I remember the Gobi Manchurian to be a good balance of spice and sweet and crispy. They also have afternoon lunch combos, where they do momos, fried rice/chowmein and a chicken/gobi/tofu chilli. I missed this last time because I didn't know about it until I went there to pickup :(.
