Asked BillySteve drill a hole for a deadbolt, retrofit an existing deadbolt with a keypad deadbolt, and adjust a deadbolt that just wasn't latching smoothly. Other locksmiths seemed to have lower service call fee but their line items were ridiculously priced (like someone quoted me $85 to drill a hole for a deadbolt, not even including the installation of the deadbolt... are they crazy? umm... no thanks!). WOW, who would have thought this type of service could have made me this happy and excited? Billy came out on a short notice, was running late and still insisted on showing up to help me. He rekeyed 3 locks, dug debris out of one (toothpick, don't ask...kids) and was there for a total of about 15- 20 minutes...WHAT??? BillySteve did a great job installing my new front door locks. He got here quickly, did a stellar job, was polite, friendly, and professional. I've never had a lock or door handle installed with a perfect fit before. He did all kinds of adjustments that only a professional would know. About 2 weeks later, the door started to stick just a little, such that I had to push it that last 1/8 of an inch for the lock to engage properly. I called BillySteve, and he came to check it out . As it turns out, it was not the lock at all, it was that my house is shifting due to the drought. HE FIXED IT ANYWAY! Even though it had nothing to do with his installation. He showed me exactly how the door alignment was out of whack due to the shifting of the house. He tightened the 25 yr old door hinges AND he brought in a small sander from his vehicle and sanded the exact part of the door where it was sticking. He showed me everything he was doing, and explained it all to me. AND this repair was at no charge. Billy Steve went way above and beyond. I bought a house that was previously rented so I wanted all new keys made. I called Billysteve on a Saturday and he came out that Tuesday. He made new set of four keys for all three doors. He was friendly, professional, quick and affordable. But what I really liked is that he told me about missing pins and springs for one of the locks. And he replaced them all with parts he had in his truck. Most folks probably wouldn't have even shared that information with a customer, but he seemed offended that whoever had worked on the locks before had 'been having a bad day.' I called Billy at Chastity Locks (love that name!) to get my whole house re-keyed on one key so I don't have to fumble around with several different keys opening up different areas of my house. I called Billy this morning to have him repair the deadbolt lock on my backdoor asking if he could make it to my house today since it broke 2 days prior. He was kind enough to fit me into his schedule because I would not be around the following day. He showed up when he said he would and called prior to heading my way.
