I came here for the first time because I saw a few videos on tik tok. I DO NOT REGRET my decision at all. I went with the signature pedicure for my toes with gel polish. My feet appreciate that massage. While getting my toes done they also started my nails. Let me say this Tanon is an artist! His skills are amazing! He reminds me so of old school nail artists in New York. I showed him an inspo picture and he instantly said he can do better especially for my birthday. I can say I'm not disappointed and I'm glad I trusted him to have creative control. This will now be my nail home. read more

I had the poorest experience yesterday I went in with builder gel on my nails. When I got there, I told the manager I wanted a builder gel fill and a gel pedicure. I showed him my nails and he confirmed. I was then called back my Amy. I sat down and she started prying my builder gel off with a metal nail file. She took the nail file and shoved it between my natural nail and the builder gel to remove it. It hurt so badly and it thinned my nail so much in one area that it started to bleed. I complained of it hurting multiple times, but she didn't stop. I've never had someone damage my nails like that. She then commented that my nails were very thin. They were only thin because she took layers of my nail off when she removed the builder gel. She then said gel X would be better for me and she would add a tip. I was so confused because my natural nail was long when I went in, but was damaged by her. I then told her I didn't want a tip and to just put regular gel on my nails. My nails were throbbing at that point and I just wanted her to stop touching them. I then had a gel pedicure that was mediocre, but better than my manicure. She did put scrub on my legs, but there was no lotion with massage. My favorite part about getting a pedicure is having a leg and foot massage, so I was disappointed mine didn't include that. I was never asked what kind of pedicure I wanted, or I would have selected one that included a massage. Overall, this was by far my worst salon experience and I would not recommend anyone going here. I went there 2.5 weeks ago for builder gel and to get my eye brows waxed. My brows were great and my nails were ok. She filed them down too much... but went back for a fill in and it cost me $63 and change for fill in and brows. Idk how since a fill in is supposed to be $45. But my issue is that my nails were even and she filed them uneven. My pinky is short now, my thumb is still long... I think they don't know how to do natural nails. The builder gel is lumpy, and just looks bad on some nails, like my left hand middle finger. The gel is also thick, and I just don't like it. Plus I told her not to shorten my brows at all, and she did! So I spent $63 plus tip to be disappointed, and that's not alright. I think we live in a time where it's ok to spend your money and not enjoy the service. read more

I had my nails done here October 13th by a lady who may not have enough experience. I mentioned that this is a set for a very important beauty show event for my job as well as a music video. The lady not only drilled my nail beds to the point I was in pain but also did not put enough product for the acrylic nor curate my polish. I called the very next day to get them redone as they were bubbling up and misshapen less than 24 hours later. They got me in to fix them with the same lady and she told me black does not curate very well so I asked to change the color and she said it would be $38 which is absurd considering I just spent $90 on the set the day prior and she acknowledged not being able to fully dry my nails. I then let her proceed to do the black again as she said she had to dry them more. Then 3 days later, the nails are bubbling and the paint is completely chipping and the nail shape was horrible. I called and asked for a refund, they told me they would do my nails over and I said I did not want them to do my nails a 3rd time as I just went to a more beauty show for my job with horrible nails and now I had my music video coming up and could not take anymore chances. I came in that same day and asked for my refund back, now they offered to change the nail color for free and I still did not want it because why would I trust you with m nails again and my nail beds are completely ruined. The guy at the front desk was calling his boss and his boss did not want to budge until he finally offered only 50% of a refund. Why should I have to pay for a service that was done with old nail polish and looks horrible? Plus I can't even get them done due to the pain of my nails. The man then called the cops on me and my friend saying we "threatened" them because I said I'm going to post about this online to let others know how they scammed me. I would not recommend this nail salon if you're getting short nails. This is my second time coming and the first time I got medium nails and they did an amazing job. The acrylic application was really poorly done. The acrylic is way too thick in some areas, but at the same time, they don't even put enough product overall -- so instead of looking like a smooth acrylic set, my nails look like cheap press-ons. They also don't actually give you a proper manicure before applying the acrylic; they just slap it on and send you on your way. The finish is lumpy and uneven. For the price you pay, the quality should be much better. Definitely dissatisfied. read more

Unfortunately will not be returning. I had high hopes as this was my first nail salon I tried in this area. It was clean and calm. My gel nails started peeling off after 6 days and I had to cut them down to stop chipping after 7 days. Usually gels last on my nails for at least 2 weeks. My pedicure is starting to chip too and my pedicures can usually last at least 3 weeks. Poor quality and better to spend your money somewhere else . read more

Worst pedicure experience. I called and made an appointment about three hours ahead of time. First of all, let's talk about the cleanliness of the tools. They were not sterilized. When the man started my pedicure, he sprayed each tool with alcohol and then put it back into a dirty plastic bin. The man was so nervous that he was shaking. He barely touched my feet, he didn't cut my nails & he acted like he was filing my toenails, but the file never touched my toes! He clearly had no idea what he was doing. It was extremely unprofessional. I asked to speak to the manger to see if there was someone else who could do my pedicure & he said it would be another hour. I do not recommend VAN for eyebrows or lashes, the other lady is really good she did my lashes so good the first time I come back she couldn't do mines so VAN did my lashes and eyebrows and she didn't do em with the length I said I wanted & I didn't like my eyebrows definitely not going back if the lady who did my lashes the first isn't available. I didn't trip because I always pay for service as long as they was decent but then again as I said before I didn't like what VAN did at ALL & another customer said the same thing as well which was a red flag so ladies you been warned! I agree with the reviews I have seen as to the lackluster service, service being overpriced and not lasting I see why they claim to be under new management however the guy with the bad skin is still the owner and he and that skinny lady who is the other owner are rude af the nails break before you are even due for a refill the do this by design and their business model in order to get more money from the transaction by one having to not only pay for a refill but also to replace at least one nail. The only reason they have so many reviews that seem favorable is because they offer a discount if you provide a review. They do not realize they are nothing with their customers but no they feel entitled. If you go there there are several people that have missing or broken nails getting fixed. They are a bunch of crooks that charge whatever they wish like I see others have said and also about the sanitation of tools and it not being clean some ought to call DBPR (Department of Business and professional regulation) before I do. A lady I met there that was discouraging me from getting gel nails because hers broke said she got an fungus in her toe before. The customer service is horrible .. the receptionist is rude and it seems the tech does not care about clientele. I normally go in for dip but decided to change to gel mani due to my dip being clumpy (giving them a second chance). after three days my nails are chipping , breaking , peeling off and having air bubbles. I also did a service of a pedicure as usual but this time regular with my color (funny bunny ) looking dirty and see through. Gave them a call to do a fix of polish ( just a coat) and to fix the nails of air bubbles and chipping but they expected me to pay 50$ . This is the second time I got my nails done by the same person and I didn't like them . The only 2 bad experiences I've ever had honestly. I gave the benefit of the doubt the first time cause it was a hard design even though i asked if he could do it in the beginning and he said yes but it took hours and a girl who worked there ended up finishing it. When i got him today i figured anyone can do French. He lays the acrylic to thick and they look like press on nails very terrible . I will say that my toes look great so that's why it's 2 instead of one star. The French isn't even and it took so long. Last time a girl had to finish for him and today a friend helped with the French . Overall I feel that for 117(discounted cause I paid cash) dollars this is very bad work . If it was one off I would understand but clearly it wasn't. I will say others that work there do amazing nails I've literally had a terrible experience with one person only and you can clearly tell I wasn't happy both times nor do they ask cause it's shown all over my face .
