The Delaware Blue Coats are the Philadelphia 76ers' NBA G League affiliate. They're one of the…read moreolder teams in the G League, having been founded in 2007 and beginning their first season (2007-08) that same year. That season, the G League expanded to 14 teams from 12 and, for the first time, formed three divisions: Central, Southwest, and Western (the year prior, it was Eastern and Western). At the time, the Blue Coats were known as the Utah Flash and were based in Orem, Utah, just north of Provo and about 45-60 minutes south of Salt Lake City. The Flash would only play in Orem for four seasons before operations were suspended and the team put up for sale due to financial difficulties. That was in 2011. In 2013, after two years of inactivity, the Sixers purchased the team, moved them to Delaware, and renamed them the Delaware 87ers after the year 1787 (the year the Constitution was created). The team was renamed again in 2018 to the current Blue Coats moniker after the Delaware regiment during the American Revolution. The Blue Coats are based in Wilmington, the state's most populous city. While in Utah, the team made it to the playoffs three out of four years. They advanced to the D-League Finals (D-League was what the G League was called then) in 2009. Since moving to Delaware, the team has not made a single postseason appearance. Only twice have they finished the regular season above .500 and barely at that. They went 26-24 (.520) in 2016-17 and 22-21 (.512) in 2019-20. The Blue Coats play in Wilmington's 76ers Fieldhouse, south of downtown, across the Christina River. The arena is relatively new, with construction fully completed in April 2019. With a seating capacity of 2,500, 76ers Fieldhouse is currently tied with the Greensboro Swarm's Greensboro Coliseum Fieldhouse for the second-smallest venue in the G League. (The South Bay Lakers' UCLA Health Training Center in El Segundo, California is by far the smallest in the league at 750 seats.) The Blue Coats have rostered several players that have spent a decent amount of time in the NBA. They include Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Rodney Carney, Earl Clark, Jared Cunningham, Baron Davis, Richaun Holmes, Danuel House, Amir Johnson, Kendall Marshall, Emeka Okafor, Nate Robinson, Mike Scott, Tiago Splitter (2014 NBA champion with the San Antonio Spurs), Von Wafer, and Christian Wood. Former Georgia Tech stars Gani Lawal and Mfon Udofia also suited up for the Blue Coats in addition to former Wake Forest center Doral Moore.

All time, the Philadelphia Union probably fall somewhere in the middle of Major League Soccer. In…read moreterms of number of seasons played (11 complete seasons to date), the Union are somewhere in the middle too. 2020 was the Union's best year yet. In 2020, the Union advanced to the semifinals of the MLS is Back Tournament. The team then went on to win the 2020 Supporters' Shield for having the best regular season record, as determined by the MLS points system. The Union finished with 47 points on the season with a 14-4-5 record during the pandemic-shortened 23-game season. It's been a steady, consistent rise for the Union over the last four seasons under now seven-year head coach Jim Curtin. In 2017, the Union finished 16th out of 22 teams. In the years that followed, the Union finished 11th out of 23 teams, 5th out of 24 teams, and 1st out of 26 teams (2020). At this point, all that's missing is an MLS Cup win. Curtin has been head coach of the Union since June 2014. Brazilian forward Sergio Santos, who made his first appearance with the Union in 2019, led the team in goals (11) during the team's Shield-winning season. French forward/winger Sebastien Le Toux leads the time all-time in goals (57; 2010-2011, 2013-2016). The Union's home stadium is the 18,500-seat Subaru Park. The stadium was built for the Union and opened during the team's first season in 2010. It originally opened as PPL Park. Unlike Philly's other major pro sports teams' venues - the Eagles' Lincoln Financial Field, the Phillies' Citizens Bank Park, and the 76ers' Wells Fargo Center - Subaru Park is *not* located at the South Philadelphia Sports Complex. Instead, it's about a 16-mile, 20-minute drive down I-95 South in the city of Chester, on the other side of the airport. Numerous pay parking lots surround Subaru Field. For a map, pricing, additional info, and to pre-pay and reserve parking in advance, visit https://www.philadelphiaunion.com/stadium/parking. Recently, the latest gameday parking prices have been anywhere from $32 to $45 per game.

I asked for help and was told to go to the ticket desk on the other side of the concourse. So off I went and was met by three kids as the Union representatives with sorry but not sorry attitude. The game was sold out and no way to move our seats. Was told everyone wants to be outside today. When I asked about getting money back was told are you kidding me No! No one even offered a bottle of water as I stood there soaking wet and obviously in distress. What ever happened to customer service? I am so disappointed and will never go to another game nor recommend to anyone I know. The almighty dollar is more important than the experience/health of the fans!

The assistant manager was rude and dismissive when I presented her with a Rally House emailed…read morecoupon. She told me that I was "trying to use a third-party coupon" like I was some kind of thief (which I was not). She embarrassed me and the nice sales associate that was helping me until she intervened. He apologized for her behavior after she walked away. I still made a purchase because I was gift shopping and honestly the $10 discount wasn't a factor influencing my purchase, but it WAS a nice promotion for Rally House to offer to a frequent shopper. I will not return to this store due to her insulting behavior. There are plenty of other options in the area. Hope some other folks who try to use this promotion are more successful than I was.

Being a huge Eagle fan, I wanted to upgrade my wardrobe with some new gear, since the Super Bowl victory. A friend told me about Rally House. So, I had some time and went to your store in Brinton Lake. As I entered your store, I said WOW! Most amazing Philly gear of any sporting goods store I had ever seen. It really blew me away. Thinking I was going to get swamped by all the fantastic items, one of your super staff members approached me and offered to show me around. She was very nice and provided superior customer service. Therefore I purchased a Super Bowl auto license bracket, a magnetic Eagle decal for my car, 4 Super Bowl tee shirts, one Eagles visor, and one lanyard. See pictures attached. Checkout was a breeze and I wish I could have stayed longer. Your store is terrific and I had a wonderful experience. You also have an excellent website. Here are some photos that I enjoyed taking. Lots of great memories. Thank you so much. Marc Pompano Beach.
