Two cleaners arrived, they spent an hour and a half accomplishing next to nothing. The cleaners they employ are NOT professional cleaners. When I met them, they showed up with almost nothing other than a mop, a bucket, a vaccum, and a paper brown bag with two sprays and paper towels. I saw how little they'd brought and offered my products so they'd have something to work with. I provided a shower cleaner, plus a long-handled tool so they could reach the upper tile in the shower since the walls are high. I was trying to help them do the job. Instead they basically cleaned my bathroom with my lysol disinfecting wipes. Sink, toilet, even parts of the shower, all wiped down with my Lysol wipes. Wipes are not a bathroom cleaner and no one should be paying a professional service for that. My one and only request was that they use the cleaner I'd already set out for them. That one request broke the whole appointment. They latched onto the fact that the spray was the same one they use for deep cleans for grout and whether this service qualified as a "regular" or "deep" clean. I was not asking for grout cleaning. I said so clearly and repeatedly. Even the tool I offered so they could reach the tile got labeled a deep clean. They simply could not process a straightforward request. After this 5 minute interaction, they stated that they need to speak with their manager. Not once did either cleaner raise anything with me directly. Everything was routed through a manager I had to text with while two people stood in my bathroom doing nothing. An hour and a half of back-and-forth to sort out a request that should have taken ten seconds. Then they picked up their things, and left without explaining anything. The manager was non-responsive and did not explain if they were leaving or not. No solutions were provided. Credit where it's due -- I was not charged. However, I cleared my schedule, prepped my home, supplied the products, and got a barely-touched kitchen and bathroom out of it. It appears they hire anyone to clean, but these are NOT professional cleaners.
