This company makes cancelling an absolute nightmare. I'm writing this from inside the store where I have to needlessly wait in line to return my equipment after cancelling service. This is crazy. The phone call to cancel took about 45 min - the poor rep was required to hit me with all sorts of promotional BS before cancelling, I asked him and he admitted it! I already have fiber - nothing can be done to save my business. At that point they're just trying to make it difficult. This entire process is by design, time-consuming and difficult. I'm waiting just to have a barcode reader scan my stuff - and they make me wait so that this person can again attempt to hit me with a sales pitch. I arrived at 12:35pm - Will update once I get through the line. read more

Be honest and don't lie to people. The sales woman told us one thing...., put it in writing and then we find out she couldn't honor it. read more

Found the perfect fix for incredibly bad service from Spectrum. CHANGE PROVIDERS. I promise you it not only solves your problems, you will save money and have much better service. Pull the plug and switch. Health wise, you will lower your blood pressure. lol read more

The customer service in person is horrible. There also isn't a direct number (other than a 800 number) to even talk to a manager. The "lady" in question was rude and dismissive to my elderly parents. My dad is also a 34yr Ret. AF Veteran. Cheyenne has a rather large military community active and retired, rude customer service from one of the ONLY cable services in town should NOT be an option. And the prices are not cheap! DO BETTER SPECTRUM! read more

In person service is extremely slow. Need to return an old modem and had to wait for over an hour.

Awful experience. I have multiple spectrum accounts, personal and business. Most recent bad experience with the cell phone store. Completely screwed up my new Apple phones that I purchased. Promised $100 rebates, but then because my wife had to go home to get her information to download from her Apple phone to another Apple phone, they said the offer no longer existed. The manager is a total jerk. Nasty human being that yelled at me and lied about the rebate. Long story short, I ended up leaving the store without my phone being fully installed and my wife's phone not being installed, bad experience. I am going up the corporate ladder, and canceling all my multiple accounts with spectrum. They have a sick corporate culture. If I could give them a rating, it would be a negative 10. read more

Mark was amazing. I originally called and did all my setup online, but some mailing issues came up and I had to go to a physical store. The online services signed me up for things I didn't ask for and Mark was extremely helpful and professional with getting me exactly what I wanted. read more

Spectrum is a terrible company. They overcharge and take advantage of their customers. They overcharged us by $200 per month, even when they had other promotions, for internet speeds that were 1/4 as fast as Bluepeak. And canceling our service took almost an hour. Run - don't walk - from anything tied to Spectrum. They are cheaters!!! read more

honestly had great experience with Nathan and baylee ! they were knowledgeable, efficient, and professional.

Is it possible to give zero stars? Their service is horrible. Cable constantly going out, freezing. Internet stupid slow. And don't even get me started about the price. $228 a month for basic cable and their "fastest" internet. I was paying for 400mbps and rarely even got 100. I switched to T-Mobile home service, have MUCH faster speeds and the best part, it's only $50 a month!! So after cancelling Spectrum's service, signing up for T-Mobile and a couple streaming services, I'm saving over $150 a month!!! Make the switch y'all. You won't be disappointed!! read more

If you're not going to open before 10am on a business day (wrong to begin with), then you'd better have more than 1 employee working the counter and a manager who only appears to be taking in reasons for the 17 visitors (which your visitors already recorded in the kiosk on entry) and not getting behind a counter and really helping. Seems you can do this when you have the city by the short and curlys as one of the only games in town. The one employee is doing what she can, at her own pace, but failure in management's part (who has already disappeared into the back again). read more

Spectrum - 17 people at this time, no manager and 1 employee - Television Service Providers Near Me - Cheyenne, Wyoming

rude asf not helpful at all. Try to over charge me and when I ask where all those extra charges where coming from she rudely deleted my information and hang up the phone. If you want your time wasted or your money go head and call or go there read more

Drops Wi-Fi all the time. If you plan on opening a Wi-Fi business, you'd do a lot better than this service. Try ur luck with Fios!

waited for over an hour just to be told they can't help me. corporate needs to find new employees.

Tried to cancel service in August 18. They demanded that I pay through September and wouldn't let me cancel over the phone. Came into the store and they keep bumping us on the list because I assume we're the ones canceling. Avoid. We switched to quantum fiber for half the price for 5x speed read more

We had to drive to Cheyenne to get our modems, and we had to go and fix a broken modem but they handled it professionally. Very nice staff and quick service, but the wait was a little long read more

I have been calling to relocate the pedestal in front of my house for the past four month and every time the rep takes my info and says we will have it done. Guess what nothing has been done. Charter should get a price for Customer No service. I am Sick and tired of calling them!!!!! read more

So. Many. Outages. They always blame it on your router, always, so you really don't have any recourse. Probably one of the worst service providers in town. read more

I hate this company there's no other option in town for cable which just sucks so they have a monopoly they also treat people like they don't matter I've been in customer service for 15 years and at least I'm human all these people if they have working there now are all robots sucks I have to waste my money to a company who doesn't care about me read more

I signed up with spectrum April 2021 when I moved into my first apartment I was also a college student and definitely needed any kind of deal that you guys had the nice man that helped me with my Wi-Fi talked me into an iPad so essentially the deal that I would get with the iPad basically meant I had free Wi-Fi I was paying $40 a month and I was extremely satisfied with what they had done for me fast forward a few months to around November I believe my card information was stolen so I had to get a entire new bank account and of course I was on automatic payments with you guys so I just called to give you guys my new card information all seemed well then around Christmas time when I was at my second job I noticed I had an email from spectrum saying that I hadn't paid my bill so I checked my app mind you this has been the only app I have ever paid my entire bill on and I'm telling you it's the entire bill not just the WiFi my bill on my app said it was completely up-to-date but I wanted to make sure because I did get a new card so I called the lady over the phone checked my account and she said everything was fine everything is up-to-date and to ignore the email I was satisfied with the experience I had over the phone she was helpful and nice and I trusted everything she had said because after all she does get paid to do a job so I assume she was doing it correctly and I trusted her now again fast forward to a few months later may 2022 I get a call from a collection's company not spectrum not somebody trying to reach out from me from spectrum but I get a call from a collection's company while I'm in the middle of trying to buy a house over this goddamn iPad they are saying that I owe over $300 and I have not paid for this iPad and the payments had stopped in November but that doesn't make sense because I got the iPad in April 2021 so somewhere along when my card information got stolen in November and I gave them a call to update my card information something had happened to my account clearly a mistake on your guises end and I was told that it sounded like it was not a mistake from my end by the collections company so the very nice lady over the phone gave me instructions to try and dispute this and GuessWhat that will affect me buying a house in the future all for a stupid iPad that I did not even really want I just didn't want to be paying $80 for shit Wi-Fi so I took any deal that came to me I did not know that it was going to buy it in the ass because your team doesn't know how to do their job this still has not been solved I have not been reached out to you and every time I call I get disrespected and absolutely no help from you guys about the situation another thing collections is a huge deal and it could be something that could affect your credit report for seven years I would never recommend you guys to anybody not because of what you did but because nobody is willing to help me nobody is willing to admit that it was not a mistake in my end DO NOT GO WITH THEM IF YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS can't even get some help over the phone now have to wait over a mistake that was not mine read more

40 Minute to a hour to talk to anyone, every time, followed by terrible execution. I recommend YouTube TV for $50 a month, no equipment charges, no DVR service charge $11.99/month, no Broadcast TV surcharge $6.05/month & unlimited DVR. read more

Customer service is rude and very disrespectful!! They like you to do a survey regarding their customer service skills, however when you are not satisfied they disconnect you to the point that when you do call back to do the survey, they will say that they have no way of doing so but the operator will call you back in 24 hrs. I have never been so disappointed with a company before until this new system took over Cheyenne. If I had a way of switching to another cable company I would have already done so but this town only offers this place or satellite. I hope that either Optimen or Bresnan would return as their service was beyond more acceptable this this company!! I'm giving them one star, however Charter does not even deserve a star! read more

This is the worst cable service ever and the customer service is just as bad. Can't watch tv as the picture sucks!!

Business install= one charter tech sitting in the empty parking lot twiddling his thumbs for 20 min while he says he couldn't find the place. Then drives off to next appt....wow... read more

Terrible service.... Plain and simple. They take your money but give you nothing in return. Had them credit our payment to the wrong account twice now in less than 6 months read more

These fucking sons of bitches SUCK!!!! 4 outages IN A FUCKING ROW...going on 5th outage TODAY ALONE. Zero communication between staff...zero teamwork...can't tell you what's going on because nobody tells tech support what's going on...they can take your money and blow it on an expensive new office but can't put ANY of it toward hiring efficient help or updating equipment or at the very least replacing the broken piece of shit stuff with stuff that will actually work and keep working for a least a while. Piss poor service. Just...PISS. FUCKING. POOR. It WILL be my pleasure when I move back to Denver to call them and let them know exactly what I think of them. FUCK THIS COMPANY!!!!!! read more

DON'T GET IT!!!! First of all, they BOMBARD you every 5 minutes with Charter Ads while watching TV. They are the worst, the customer service is OK, but the internet speed sucks and the cable/on demand SUCKS even worse. I am not lying, they have ads every 5 minutes advertising their company and it gets REALLY annoying. I would only recommend this company to my worst enemy. If you need internet or cable, go with AT&T or DirecTV. Do not go with Charter, you'll regret it! Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention, if you do not want to get their phone or cable, they will CALL your cellphone everyday and wonder why you don't have Charter phone/cable. THEY SUCK. read more

I am with the other reviewers, this business is terrible. I had Bresnan's silver pkg but i don't get the channels Charter says is on there Silver Package. There picture is constantly pixalating and I haven't seen a full program since the switch over to all digital. I am looking for any other solution to watch TV without using Charter TV cable. Really bad business ,people. read more

I have had service with bresnan and optimum for many years, and have never had any problems. Then comes along charter! I have never seen or heard of some many problems with one company. The T.V is limited even when you pay for there most expensive package. Half the done my internet service doesnt work. I recently switched to Dish and i love it. read more

Internet is terrible at least for me. I'm constantly having to reset my modem to get it to work. And their customer service is on par with their Internet service as well, just awful. A bit too pricy for just Internet alone. read more

I am completely aggravated with this company right now. In total they have taken at least 3 hours of my time with their easy to install digital cable box. What a joke! I had to wait in line for a half an hour to pick up a box I don't want. It took forty five minutes to connect both my TV's to all the correct cords. It took over an hour to activate because the directions never instructed me to set the TV on HDMI mode. I attempted to contact a customer service person with absolutely no success. Finally when I figured it out on my own, I found that my favorite channel was no longer available to me (AMC) when it was before. I then spent thirty minutes trying to figure out how to block the channels that receive no signal without success. This company sucks and it would be really nice if another decent provider would move into the area. read more

This company is ridiculous, the price is outrageous for basic TV I don't get any of the movie channels or anything, and internet. Half the time the cable doesn't work, it freezes or comes in and out with a lot of outages. They make it a pain in the ass to talk to anyone, they nickel and dime you to death with fees, the customer service is terrible and never fixes anything. Its sad this awful company took over. If I could give less than a star I would read more

I've gone thru Bresnan, Optimum, and now Charter. Charter is by far the worst. They advertise fast internet speed and it is, about half the time, the other half it can be as slow as dial up. E-mail is constantly timing out before it can load. And now after having my name in the phone book for the last forty years of living in Cheyenne It's missing this year because Charter didn't give Dex my information. read more

The service is horrible! I needed my modem replaced.. they decided they needed to install more dedicated outlets.. fine with me...until I came home and found cable wires strung all around my house! They weren't stuck neatly under the siding, they were literally hanging all around the house. Then, they wanted to charge me for having the 2 outlets installed! NO WAY! I only asked for a new modem.. I even went to get it myself but they said an installer had to come to the house. My cable and internet both stink.. the internet is off more than it's on. Today, they turned off my cable for non-payment.. even though I paid them on Friday. I called the 800 number... no use, I have to talk to the local office, except there is no phone number... you have to go there in person! Great.. if they were open past when I get off work... One person gave me a phone number that they said "might be a local number"... I called it.. It was for Direct TV... Rediculous!!! I was told that they always process payments first thing in the morning so as soon as they did mine they would restore my service... well... it's after 2:00 p.m. and I still have no service. read more

This company is horrible! They literally have the worst internet I have ever experienced! It makes me almost regret moving back here from Kansas City and the AMAZING Google Fiber Service! The constant internet outages and bad customer service makes for a company that shouldn't be around yet survives because it is the only service in certain areas! Also, in our area the Spectrum service isn't even offered yet! Thanks to a very honest cable guy (who was the only polite individual employee this company has to offer) my family learned that they aren't even close to having the spectrum service available, but yet they still offer the upgrade for an unreasonable price! Needless to say it is pathetic that this company does business this way! I hope they add their spectrum service which then entices Google or Verizon to offer their Fiber Optics Services here because Charter needs to leave ASAP!!! For lack of better words this company is SHIT! Yet unfortunately we are fucking stuck with them! read more

Charter is THE worst ever. WORST. Called theor office number. Phone rang and rang and rang. Then a message "No one is available to answer your call at the moment." REALLY? Terrible service read more

First they do away with a payment drop box at Albertsons, then the take out their drop box by their office, the parking is a nightmare, lastly the rude employee tells me I can mail my payment. Really, I pay you over a hundred a month, I am not going to pay almost fifty cents in postage. What has become of customer service? If it wasn't for the customers there would be no Charter. Put a little customer service back into your business... read more

Absolutely agree with ALL of the other folks. The service from this cable company SUCKS!!!!! I'm switching to dish as soon as possible! Can't watch the local "done in the garage" CBS channel without it jumping and skipping all the freeking time. Let's face it KGWN is a novice TV station, but it's the only place you can get local news and weather. But, to have to put up with the crappy audio and video only makes it worse. I've called their customer service number and just get the run around..... Totally unacceptable!. read more
