    Zero stars if possible. Like the people below, I was also approached by Lifeline, advertised as a…read morecompany taking over Vivint in my local area. As I saw that my neighbor moved forward, so did I. Lifeline in fact was not taking over for my current provider, but instead was poaching customers. Lifeline used my signature for a technician appointment to fill out a contract and credit pull (due to it being a digital signature). In the end, I had my Vivint equipment stolen, Alula equipment (from Lifeline) partially installed, a service contract I didn't agree too, $4000 in equipment I didn't ask for, and more. I am still paying my monthly to Vivint tho my equipment was stolen. Lifeline customer service is unprofessional; if you can even get them to respond on their text service. If you are approached by this vendor, turn the other way, and deny them. If possible, get the representatives information and hope you can report them. These are some top scams they are pulling; don't be one to get scammed. They will also lie to you a lot; just don't listen.

Their installers did a horrible job installing. They had to come out 3 times to me and my neighbor. 2. They took all of OUR Vivant equipment! Claiming they sent it to Vivant. WE OWNED those camera's 3. They have poor customer service. It's hard to get hold of a live person. 4. They send us a bill for 4 grand for cameras !! Which were supposed to be free because we changed over! Why would we spend 4 grand when we already had a system? 5. We NEVER signed the agreement it is still in my possession. It is nearly impossible to get a live person! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! Especially in south jersey area! I don't know about anywhere else.

    Terrible service. Had the smart drive stop working less that 6 months into service and instead of…read moresending me a new one I had to send the old one in first in order for them to start any process. I didn't hear anything for weeks and it wasn't until I reached out that they told me it was going to be at least another 2 weeks before the issue was resolved if possible. I opted to have a new one just sent to me and when it arrived (with no instructions) I had to get back on the phone with technical support only to have them not have any record of the replacement but also not know what to do to link up the new smart drive. Meanwhile this whole time I haven't been able to look back on past video of someone damaging my personal property that occurred and would have been able to view had the system been working properly. Nobody took any responsibility and basically said there's nothing more they can do. I can't wait to cancel my service but I'm sure they'll be a hefty fine on top of that! One representative I spoke with said that a customer service representative would be calling me to discuss a refund for the months that the service was not working and I'm still waiting for a call... Do yourself a favor and avoid signing up and go with a company that actually knows what they're doing and puts their clients first! *Per the generic response from my situation below they clearly still don't understand the issue. The issue isn't the fact that the smart drive stopped working (however that's what it originated from). The issue is the poor level of service in which it was handled and the fact that nobody ever took ownership of the problem and was willing to give any type of refund or discount or anything to help make it right! Again, avoid Vivint if it wasn't clear enough already.
