This company is a very great company. every time me or family and friends have used this company things have gone smooth. This company is trust worthy and handles all customers as if they were their own family. I do see the other two reviews and I'm sorry that they had a bad experience in their move but I also understand things can get mixed up in a company. so to the ones that had a bad experience maybe you guys just wasn't patient nor understanding. We had a recent in-town office move. Burke Moving & Storage was recommended. Gordon, Brian and the team were great to work with. They provided packing tips and ways to save money on our tight budget. They day-of move met with logistic issues at our old space but they crew worked around them. They had us out of the old space and into the new space in less than 4 hours. This was probably my worst experience moving any household goods. I have moved 5 times in 6 years, most being from overseas locations. This was my first time moving from one state to another. I wanted to haul all my things personally back myself but my job required it to be hauled back through a respective agency for me to be reimbursed. Of course "Burke Moving & Storage" was selected. Since all of my moves has been smooth I had no doubt this would also be. The projected arrival was suppose to be within 30 days. I called 5 days after my items did not arrived. I thought it was strange. I did not receive any notifications I.e phone calls, emails, etc. when I was finally was able to get in contact with the respective agency they informed me my items were still being held at its initial location due to storage containers not being available for my items to be moved. I called my moving agent to see if there would be any inconvenience funds being repaid back to me. He informed me that unless I rented furniture or stayed within a hotel I would not be reimbursed. Then! At the 60 day mark I called about my household goods and their location from my agent. He informed me that it was finally moving. But the moving agent apparently gave them the wrong tracking number. & that they have been tracking the wrong shipment for the past week. And that their could possibly be a mixup with someone else's shipment due to the tracking numbers being switched. So my items are somewhere. But it's on the way. DO NOT USE!!! Burke Moving along with North American Van Lines turned my move into a NIGHTMARE! Things were broken and missing during packing and they didn't even finish the move! I had to hire someone else after it was packed because they didn't know when a truck was available! I was charged storage fees and NO ONE would take responsibility for broken or missing items!
