Today I have been trying to get dish to solve this issue. It's been like this all week. We have them on the phone daily. Today it was a nightmare. We have had them on the phone all day. My husband talked to them first. I have taken the last 10 calls. Needless to say that I am totally pissed off So they told me that they would send a service man could be here on Sunday . Dish is one of the most scams you will have don't get dish network I called them a few weeks ago and they told me that I could get a payment arrangement but charge me 15 dollars so I said ok a week later my service gets shut off so I called them they charged my old bank account when I told them not too but throws ass---- did and now my bank account is over drewed and they won't help me too get my service back on and there customer service people hang up on you for no reason at all and they don't care about there customer all they care about is there selfs and money there very rude and unprofessional so I wouldn't get dish network plus I was promised 150.00 a month a month later my bill was almost doubled that and when you call they tell you oh well we can't do anything about it and your bill gets higher and higher every month read more

Dish illegally makes up contracts and signs them with a pin. When you try to disconnect service they'll say that at some date in the past you upgraded service and now you have to pay $400 to cancel. That's on top of the other cancellation fees for a total of at least $600. If you call them, be ready to be on the phone for at least one hour. Nothing will be solved. They say I agreed to a contract on the phone but if you ask them to play it back they say they'll take that feedback and give it to their managers. The only solution they offer is to re-open service. It's unbelievable this company is still around, the most fraudulent entity I've ever seen. I've submitted a claim with CFPB and you should to. Also get credit card companies to reimburse you, this is fraud plainly. If you need to get TV get YouTube TV or something else. Don't give the scum your money. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. We attempted to get Dish into our new house today in northern CO. The installer, Chris, spent the first 10 minutes of the job refusing to answer our questions, arguing with my wife and I, interrupting us and acting generally disrespectful. Then he stormed out of the house without another word. Chris was unprofessional, aggressive, condescending and disrespectful. After having previous issues with Dish, we quickly decided to cancel our service and try someone else. No wonder Dish is going bankrupt. Good riddance. read more

Absolutely horrible they add and subtract channels based on the customer's interest in a series. They allowed us to watch channel 241 for Yellowstone up to the final finale then conveniently took it away from us saying well it was an extra they were giving us. Not only that they allow non-employee sponsors access to turn on your service and turn it off. I got hooked up with one of them by the time this guy got done twisting my words I had to close four bank accounts because they got into them they sign me up for multiple programs DirecTV dish TV frontier Comcast it took me 6 months to finally get that straightened out. And on top of that I'm still locking to another 24 months of this piece of crap business they need investigated they need shut down they don't give a crap about you as a customer I have nothing good to say about this piece of crap service that has infiltrated my life and I'm stuck with for another freaking year would not recommend them to My worst enemy read more

Holy cow after Comcast Xfinity raised my Tv& Internet from $121 to $175 / month over 2 years, I tried and tried to get them to lower the price w/o success, I switched to DISH! I'm retired and on a tight budget! Saved $30 per month! Also DISH includes in their pkg. the entire baseball (MLB) and NFL ALL out of market games ...for 2 full years! If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT GET DISH!!! I signed a 2 year contract with them and called today which is now 2 years later to see what the final day was. They told me I had another 2 years left. I called them a year ago because my equipment wasn't working for the tv and the sales rep said I would get a better deal if I went ahead and got the hopper and would also receive a 15$ a month discount. So I had the cable guy install the new equipment. He had me sign a paper that he said was for the equipment. In the fine print I had just signed another 2 year contract with them that I had no idea I was signing! I asked for that contract and they said I had to wait over a week to receive it. They said they had a recording of me saying I was fine with another 2 year contract as well, but they magically could not play the recording or send me the transcript. I now have to pay a 400$ cancellation fee for not keeping the "new" contract that I was completely unaware of. When you call to resolve issues with them you will get "I'm sorry " and "I understand." They do not care!!! Also, every month my bill was different and channels that I originally signed up for would be gone because they were in disputes with other companies carrying those channels. They broke their contract by taking away channels that I payed for. This company will steal your money!!! Do not use them!!! read more

Zero stars if I could!!! So I was sent a survey for the work performed in the services they provided, it never let me do the survey it skipped right over it and said that you for the response. But in reality the tech had my husband use his drill to help him push a wire through for him. As a result it cut the wire for my elec and caused a outage through out my house. Tech says he has contacted his supervisor and that he will be calling me back and send out a electrician will come out soon to repair it. First off he should of never ask my husband to help him. And second the tech filled in the report that customer drilled through the elec wire and not his fault. My mother is in a consintrader which supplies her oxygen cause she has sever COPD. So we file a report and then he say the will come out for picture 7 to 10 days which is outrageous. So I'm suppose to go without elec in my bedroom kitchen and bathrooms for the next 7 to 10 days. Beware!!! Dish Network is a rip-off. The Sales people get a bonus for getting you into a 2 year contract for internet by lying and deceiving you into thinking you will not be in a contract. We specifically requested no contract for internet and phone however we were told that there would be a 2 year contract for the TV which was okay for us so we signed up and went into the process trusting what this rep/sales person was honest about promising no contract for phone and internet. Low and behold the internet started acting up and the phone voice-mail was unreliable...they lease there line from CenturyLink and to correct any issues they have to go through CenturyLlink.... a few months later problems were not resolved so we called Dish and said we are going to go to Centurylink since we thought it would be better than getting the run around. Went with CenturyLink...problem solved within 2 days...phone and internet was up and running. NOTE: My mom depends on lifeline because she is elderly and disabled along with my sister whom is also disabled. Having no LAN line is life threatening in this case. DISH was aware of this every step of the way but they were more interested in keeping our business than the life of a human being. RUTHLESS COMPANY! Just got the bill from them and they charged us as normal for phone internet and TV...made the call and was told the service is not cancelled and to cancel it it would cost a$ 315.00 early termination fee for the internet. We told them that the service was with CenturyLink all month and the rep replied" sorry but how would we know that" We asked about the contract and the rep replied " I know ...we get bonuses for getting people in a contract and sometimes the rep will not reveal the 2 year internet contract in order to get a bonus...she apologized and sent me to escalations. They were rude and said we will have to pay the fee and the last bill even though we also have a phone and internet bill from CenturyLink for the same time period and the same phone number. They said, "if we do not pay it they have our credit card on file and will just charge the card". I asked about the TV contract because at this point I could not believe we will be forced to deal with such an UNETHICAL DISHONEST company until 2015 due to that contract and the rep said "they will charge us $540.00 early termination fee for the TV if we want to cancel. Of course we will be forced to keep the TV but when the contract is over we will never deal with DISH again. Beware!! DISH Network has an $855.00 early termination fee for their internet/TV bundle. We payed tax and fees to DISH and CenturyLink for the same line and phone number through the same time frame, DISH would rather risk the lives of the elderly and disabled to make $315.00 rather than do the right thing. CenutryLink does not require a contract for internet or phone so I would highly recommend them. read more
