Reading Yelp for ISP reviews sounds terrible. I've been a FRII customer since the 90's, first for home internet, then for hosting, now just as an email customer. Their technical support has always been prompt, and I have never had an issue persist for more than a day or 2. Want a Lowest Common Denominator ISP? You have options - Comcast is happy to take your money for garbage service. Want someone who's more than willing to tell you when CenturyLink messes up a circuit? FRII is for you. read more

I have been with frii.com for a long time! They used to be a very good company that cared about their customers. Now they're a JOKE!! I have been paying for 2 email addresses all this time. For 2 weeks now I have one that that can't send or receive emails. I have made numerous phone calls and have left numerous messages with NO call back. I have filled out numerous tickets with no responses. I've gotten NO help with my issue. The payment for the email addresses is coming from my credit card. Awful. I mail my bill in every month and they apparently throw it away or never open their mail. They do a horrible job of filtering spam, including fake invoices supposedly from them, which is why I don't pay on line. Calling or emailing customer service is useless- they never respond! read more

It isn't the old or original FRII. They were sold Front Range Digital Holdings. That's when problems started. Old FRII actually answered the phone and would return calls. read more

They have become the absolute worst. I can no longer get in to my email and have called at 5 times requesting a callback because they no longer answer their phones. I have never received a call back, I have lost so many important emails and contacts not too mention the complete frustration. Do NOT use this company! read more

Our connectivity goes out about 1-3 times a day for various lengths of time. Recently, it was out for at least 2-3 WEEKS. I would call each day and the service personnel were very nice, but had no real answers. After all that time, finally one of the service staff helped get us connected. Now... our service is out again... its been about 4-5 days and nothing. I sent emails begging for help and nobody contacted me... yet. I've done everything they tell me to do and... nothing. I've called to ask about service outages and we were told that emergency services can shut us down at any time... thing is, after some research, when the US made the switch to digital, EMS radio now has its own designated frequencies. I get so many excuses about lack of services. I might as well have dial up. We cancelled our service last night. Use FRII only if it is your last resort. read more

Client for almost 20 years. Lately have been hung up on twice by their sales guy (trying to switch to a more expensive offering), have filled out multiple sales and support forms without response, called the support number listed on their website only to find it's their sales #, finally got a support ticket started only to never hear back. These guys are likely on their way out. read more

I have waited for a month to write this review. After having so many issues and problems with my previous provider it is so nice to have reliable internet access. With three individuals working from home now I have not had a single issue with our service. The install done was very professional and very happy that everything was installed so clean. I seldom recomend providers to people but I have to say this service has been spot on. read more

I had been having problems receiving good connections from the company that I had been with for nearly 20 years. As a result I looked for another ISP to fill that void. FRII came to my attention and we connected by my giving t hem a call. The call was responded to immediately. All of the information provide to me gave me confidence that switching to FRII is a good choice. The installation took place promptly and I was receiving a connection 10x's faster than my previous provider. read more

Gets a 150mb/s speed when on a speed test but when I open anything the internet can't handle it and drops to below 10 download and 0.3 upload. Terrible. read more

I have been trying to reach the FRII office for a week. I've filled out the contact sheet on their website three times and have called the office directly. Each time there has been no response. Employees seem nice. But no internet is no internet. Frustrating when the internet stops working minimum once a day with 10-40minutes of wait time until it reconnects. With stay-at-home order, some days I would have up to 10 internet disconnection/outage over the span of 12 hours and some days just couple outages. Inconsistent service. read more

Their online credit card payment system has been down for about three month. What a joke for a internet company.

Do NOT sign a contract with this internet service provider until they change their end of service terms. We had been clients since 2008 - seven years!. We notified them in April of our intent to end service and removed our servers from their site in May. They continued to charge us an additional three months because their agreement renews itself on an annual basis for an additional 12 months! Who does that? We all accept a one or two year contract, and then expect it to go month to month, not an additional year. We were not provided services, therefore should not have incurred further costs, yet they continued to charge our credit card using different merchant accounts! BEWARE!! DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH FRII!!! read more

If I could give FRII zero stars I would. I was having internet issues in an apartment complex for months and they never did anything to fix it. FRII provided the internet for the entire complex and I knew multiple people that had the same issues. My internet would drop every couple minutes and it took me 5-10 minutes to send an e-mail. Every time I called they would say they sent the information up to the engineers to figure it out, however nothing changed with my internet speed. I spent 6 months trying to get my internet to actually work. I would highly recommend against this internet provider. read more

FRII.COM has problems, major problems. I've been a client of FRII for maybe 15 years and suffered the occasional glitch in service. I have two email addresses through them. Recently my active email box suddenly went bananas where every message in the inbox was in triplicate. Thinking it was a problem with my email client Thunderbird I fired off a nasty-gram to them. The next day I had no emails - in either account. Turns out FRII's email system apparently crashed. It's now going on five days!!! Five days worth of lost emails. What's especially troubling is that they are completely silent about having issues. There is a phone message "We are currently experiencing...." but absolutely nothing on their web site. An occasional email comes through - I've gotten four in five days - so I presume they have the ability to send an alert to customers, or maybe not. Think of going without emails for five days. Nothing in your inbox, nothing in your spam filter, nothing at all. All vaporized for five days and counting. I have a small business and this could turn out to be a disaster. Not just for me but for their thousands of other clients. I can't even switch to Gmail - which I intend to do - because I can't get the email response required to activate an account. I'm dead....and I'm really pissed! read more

I recently starting using FRII service at my apartment complex in Loveland. So far the service has been excellent. I have had zero down time and the upload and download speed has been excellent. On the one occasion I did call customer service they were very helpful. I have been an unhappy comcast user for years and it is nice to know there is another option besides the monopoly. read more
