I've gone to this nail salon over two dozen times in past years, for regular manicures only, and they do a fantastic job - every time. I'll typically call for an appointment, but I've been taken many times as a walk-in with minimal wait. The women are kind, detailed and really take pride in their work. My manicures easily last 7 days. The color selection of polish is plentiful. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed. I will continue to return here for my manicures! read more

I tried this place because my other place was closed. I got a pink and white UV full set. It's all right. They look nice except my nail beds around my cuticles look like crap. She did not cut my cuticles. And she use the nail file to shape my nails. Which I think is stupid when they have an electric tool to help them shave the nail and sheep it. I will not be coming back.And I paid $100 for this crap. Also I got my nails done on Saturday it's Monday and they all fell off. read more

They were very nice but super overpriced. I got a full set which was supposed to be 70$ but turned out to be 90$, my nails came out bumpy, uneven and not even the shape i asked for (i asked for coffin and they gave me almond). After telling the lady to be careful with my thumb as i had a cut there she proceeded to rub the nail file on my cut and didn't acknowledge it when i said ouch. They also do not clean the brushes as this lady looked through a cup of brushes and picked out which one had the least amount of stuff on it (it was dirty ew) anyway 1000/10 do not recommend they need to redo cosmetology school. read more

This place is wonderful! I have become a regular here and never left unhappy. $15 for standard manicure $35 for gel Prices are great and you get a great experience for it. They are great!!!! With every service you not only get your nails done, but a great quick 5 or so minute massage. This includes hot stones on your neck! It's great. Also, they do a great massage on your lower arm and hands. The place is always clean and employees are chipper. I can't say enough good things about Charming Nails. This is my favorite place to get a mani and pedi -- just this past week I was away on business, and my polish was horribly chipped, but I walked around with chipped nails rather than go someplace in that city... because I wanted to wait until I got back to PA to go to Charming. Why? The service. Every single one of the nail techs there are super-sweet and friendly, and they go to great lengths to make sure you have a good experience. To me, it's the little extras that make a difference -- like the hot rock shoulder and neck massage they give you at the end, or the bottles of OPI hand lotion they give out when you're there around Xmas. And... I can't recommend their Spa Pedicure enough. For an extra few bucks (it's $55), you get a 90-minute pedi that's soooo relaxing. You get a massage with salt scrub at the beginning... then your legs get a seaweed masque where they wrap your legs in saran wrap to let everything sink in while they trim your nails... then another long massage with lotion before they do the polish. I tried Charming Nails after finding out my usual nail person was on vacation. My friend tried it recently and mentioned that she enjoyed the hot stone massages. Salon is very nice, clean. Staff is friendly enough. I got a manicure and pedicure. Great polish selection. Manicurist rubbed my shoulders and back with hot stones after manicure which was nice. I did have to ask to have noticeable cuticle skin to be cut after she finished polish. During my pedicure, I noticed there was an over abundance of sanitizing "Sea Breeze facial toner" spray. My feet and legs were soaked, scrubbed and rinsed. Sprayed with Sea Breeze before massage with oil, lotion and hot stones. Then nails were sprayed again before polish. Understandable. Then used polish remover to clean nails once more. I was shocked when I saw the total. ($50! A lot more than the $35 I pay around the corner.) Ok. I figured I could compare it to the prices of a "Spa" mani/pedi. Disappointed that I had paper towels (sprayed with Sea Breeze) separating my toes and given paper slippers to walk out with. For $50 I would hope for plastic flip flops, at the very least. Someone else mentioned that prices are posted at the front desk. I noticed the sign on the way out bc no one was standing there. There's a list in a picture frame and it's not easy to read. So the reason I'm reviewing this salon (and the true test of quality), two days later my pedi is already chipping. While I was there, women (who seemed like a regular) walked back in after noticing in the sunlight that the polish on her two hands looked two different colors. After a consensus lasting more than 5 minutes, her nails were redone. read more

This is one of my favorite nail salons. Not many salons are good at working with natural nails but this nail salon is excellent. The hand massages with the aromatherapy lotions are wonderful... Had my first gel manicure here and loved the experience! I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy, but they were able to get me in immediately. It's a pretty large, clean place and everyone is very friendly. They also do kids manicures & pedicures, there were a few kiddos there and were so cute! There are tons of gel and shellac options, as well as regular polishes, and other reviewers weren't kidding about the massages! I got a neck massage as well as arm massage, loooooved it! Definitely an important perk in my mind for a nail salon. My nails came out beautifully and id definitely return. First and last time going here. Extremely overpriced (basic gel manicure was 35) for what I got. The service seemed great at first, the tech did a great job filing my nails and gave me a nice massage while my previous gel was dissolving. Her hands were shaking as she painted my nails so they look extremely uneven. She didn't even paint my nails all the way, they are not painted on the tips or the sides. Very disappointed. I've been to many nail salons. I have yet to find one better than Charming nails. I have been a regular for over 4 years. The gel manicure lasts for over 2 weeks - I only have to go back because my nails are growing out. They also give the best massages. Most nail salons just massage your arms with lotion during a manicure, but Charming Nails also gives you a hot stone massage on your back and shoulders. I've been a regular for many years and cannot say enough about the quality of everything they do. I feel like a queen every time I'm there. As soon as I walk through the door, I know their primary focus is on my needs. The pedicures are so relaxing; finished off with a neck massage while your toenails are drying. The manicure comes with a healthy arm and neck massage, which alone is worth the price of the manicure...and did I mention hot rock massages?! I have a disability that took away the use of my left arm and hand which is why I need my nails professionally done. More importantly, I go to relax and be pampered. I would love to see a menu of services (currently not available) I want more but have no idea what they offer and I have been going there for years. TREAT YOURSELF. You'll love me for it. read more

Only $35 for pedicure with foot and lower leg massage with and without stone and then a quick neck and shoulder massage with stones. Excellent with toe nails too! This place is horrible. I've never paid so much to get my nails done, and they've never looked so bad. They have bubbles in the polish, they're lumpy, and 1 fell off after a day. I requested my money back and they refused to give it back. Horrible experience. I will not be returning, and I will let everybody know about my horrible experience. $50 for a refill. That is rediculous, and for $50 they better look immaculate, not fall off after a day. It was so bad I don't even want them fixed, I just want my money back and it was refused. I should have read these reviews before going to this nail salon. Like others, I came here because my usual salon tech is on vacation and they are top notch in the area (Google 'Solar nail salon' you won't go anywhere else) I travel to go to Solar in oaks because I have searched far and wide for anything better and have yet to find anything that compares. Charming charges $40 a pedicure! and I went in for an acrylic REFILL (not full set) with gel that normally costs me 35$ At my other place and $45 for a full set lol (pedicure is 30$ at solar). It cost me 60$ at charming for a refill with gel.... what?! Their full set is $70 Which is robbery!! She fixed two broken nails which I assume would cost more-but 10$ a nail??? no designs or anything! Like others said, the acrylic is bumpy and mediocre And the pedicure was not worth it because she barely massaged my Feet! She was too busy answering the phone when it would ring and scheduling appointments which took 2 1/2 hours!! Oh and the total for a pedi and refill?? 120$ I laughed! She said on top of the 40$ refill, it was 20$ extra for gel...They had no one in there and now I see why Because no one on their right mind will spend that amount! Please do not go here!!! terrible terrible terrible!!! Only reason I am giving two stars is because I like the color of the gel I'm not cheap at all and don't mind spending the money but don't like spending unnecessary money because I have kids. Nice selection of polish. The salon was very crowded, however there were enough employees to accommodate everyone. I got a pedicure and gel manicure. The pedicure was mediocre. The water wasn't hot and I would have liked my feet scrubbed a bit more. I wasn't too thrilled with the French pedicure. The lines were too thin and I ended up going somewhere else to get them fixed later that day. They did do a very nice job on my gel manicure. The massages, hot towels, and stones were also very nice. That being said, the overall experience was fairly good. Definitely not worth the $85. I've had better experiences at places where it was way less expensive. I wish I would have gone somewhere else in the first place instead of spending $85 and $15 later on to fix my toes. The only reason I came here is because I was in a rush and my salon was closed. Will you get a decent mani and pedi? Sure. Is it worth almost $100? No. There are plenty of less expensive salons in the area who meet or surpass the level at this salon. read more

Just went to Charming Nails today and had a wonderful experience! It's unassuming because it's located in a shopping center, but when you walk in it opens to a nicely decorated store. The store is very clean, modern and there are plenty of pedicure chairs and manicure stations. They have two flat screens, one that you can watch while getting a pedicure and another to watch while your nails dry. I got a manicure, pedicure and waxing and was surprised at how affordable it was. It's really a great value for the service you get. The pedicure includes a 10minute leg and foot massage, the manicure includes a 5 minute back massage! They use hot rocks in the massage as well. All the ladies there are friendly and very thorough and meticulous. I'll definitely be back again soon! read more

Do not go here! First of all, they are ridiculously overpriced! I brought my daughter there to get acrylic nails for her birthday and near died when I saw that they would be $70.00! No place in this area charges that much for a set of acrylics. I thought "ok this is her birthday, I'll just pay it". Well as soon as we left the salon, my daughter was so upset because her nails looked "like crap"! Some of the nails were extremely crooked. I tried to get her to go back in, she refused because she was just so upset. Also, the woman did not even clean up her cuticles!!!! I called the owner of the salon (the one who actually did her nails) and complained and asked for a refund. Her response...."no refund..it was your choice". Really? Do not go here! I just had one of the worst displays of "customer service" ever. I have recently moved to the area and was excited when I walked it to see a clean environment. Everything after that was terrible.. In Fact so bad I didn't even get my nails done. I walked in at 4pm on a Tuesday and asked for a fill. Only after inspecting my nails did the girl at the front desk say yes. After being sat they asked me again if the price was ok. After I said yes to the price for a second time the woman came over to do my nails. I simply said I want the same thing with my nails cut down. After speaking to the woman at the front desk for a few minuets and inspecting my nails again the woman at the front desk came back to tell me it would now be 60 dollars.For a fill! I said it seems that a gel refill is too much of an inconvenience and left. Not to sound dramatic but it was embarrassing. So needless to say I will have to search the area some more to find a salon. read more

They didn't listen at all and took her right away. They cut her several times and laughed about it when I said you've hurt her. Finally I got up and said enough and got up to pay.
