Twenty-eight days later, they sent another message with a bill for $3,000, which included a huge late fee, and threatened to put a lien on my house if I didn't pay immediately. The texts I had with Joshua was incredibly aggressive. I explained him my situation and asked him to reconsider, but he was completely blunt and said I had to pay or he would put a lien on my property. I was so stressed and scared, as I'm not familiar with Texas laws. I had to hire a lawyer to advise me. Ultimately, after I let Joshua know that I had lawyer, and would be better negotiate instead of going to the court, I had to pay Joshua company a total of $450 just for the second visit, whis was a lot.
