First of all, shame on the car dealership! When I took my car in to get serviced for an oil change and tire ailment. They gave warning to me that my key was a bit "wobbly." They proceeded to give me my car with the key still in the ignition, and with the car running, I proceeded to drive home... When I got home afterward, I removed the key from the ignition, and the main part of the key happened to fall out. I blame the dealership because beforehand, my key wasn't fragile, wobbly, or broken! Charlies Duplicates is fantastic and I whole heartedly recommend him. I had gone to a dealership to buy and get programmed a second key fob for my car. They sold me a new fob, then had the car for two days, and could not program the fob, and they told me that it was my car's fault. They told me that it might take another two or three hours to figure out what was wrong with the car (at $250/hour), and even then there was no guarantee that I would have a programmed fob at the end of that. I decided to not approve the additional work, took the car home, and called Charlies Duplicates who said he could program the fob, and could come to my home the next business day. He tried programming the dealership's fob and could not get it to respond, so he took one of his new fobs and had that successfully programmed within 15 minutes. Apparently the dealership parts department had sold me a defective fob. So Charlies Duplicates did in 15 minutes what the dealership could not do in 2 days.
