There was an error with the salad but they were calling us before we even made it home and immediately delivered the correct salad. Both the pizza and salad were delicious and the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend giving them a try.

A solid local spot for a family meal. Known for their Pizzas and Italian specials, but plenty of…read moremenu choices to satisfy all appetites, including GF options (ie. pizza crust). Super relaxed atmosphere with friendly service from the staff. Overall, a 4.0 rated experience for food quality, smiling service and casual ambience. Depending your craving, expect to pay $7-15pp. And it was great they could accommodate larger group indoors of 10+, and they have patio seating if desired. Today we started with some Chicken Wings; large and meaty, we ordered them Mild but asked for xtra Hot sauce on side. Served hot from kitchen, we really enjoyed them!! A variety of meals were ordered from Pizza, Pasta, Salads and Sandwiches. Everyone liked their dishes from Buffalo Chicken Salad, Chicken Parmigiana, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, GF Pizza, more Wings plus Cheese Bread with Marinara for kids. I ordered the Italian Beef sandwich with Mozzerella, Pepperoncinis and au jus; this was flavorful dipped in Au jus, however I'd try another signature T's dish for my next meal here since I've had the best Italian Beef sandwiches in Chicago. All in all, we were glad to find T's for a family nite out that everyone could order a tasty meal. We'll come back when we pass thru again. Enjoy!

Not great. I actually had a good experience with the person…read morehosting which I presume was the owner. My waitress was pretty good. No complaints there. I got the country fried steak breakfast. It was dissapointment on a plate. To be fair, I expected it to disappointing when they gave me a menu that weighed over a pound with more than 100 different options. Then we had some extra daily/weekly specials added on. I just want to emphasize that my review is not a reflection on the cooking staff. I believe they are going above and beyond to deliver they're best. The "country fried steak" is a Sisco fried steak patty. The hashbrowns that I got were a lot, too much; only the very top of a pound of hashbrown were brown. The rest were soggy and flavorless. The grave was fine. The eggs were mostly eggs but I orderded them sunnysideup; the yellow was half cooked. So about 30 seconds too long. Again, I don't put that on the kitchen as much as the management and menu. Note to owner: Pancakes, crepes, eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy. Everything else is unecessary. Cut your menu to one page. If you can't survive on that, you don't deserve to be open.

Those who travel on I-94 and I-80/94 from Illinois to Michigan and vice versa won't know about…read moreLeroy's unless they divert their travels to U.S. 20. There in the town of Porter lies Leroy's, roughly a mile east of Exit 22, a place we frequently passed by over the years but never checked out - til last nite. And though a wee bit apprehensive upon arriving, those hesitations quickly vanished upon entry. Admittedly it can get noisy in the main area (wherein lie the bar, band stage, pool tables and some seating arrangements), which you have to pass thru (a bit awkward) to get to the main dining area (quieter but not totally devoid of noise). Compounding the noise factor were a few babies who let everyone know how they felt. But it wasn't too long before they stopped crying and the band concluded. However, regardless, none of it deterred me, my mixed race son or his mom from having a memorable time. Whatever noise existed was compensated by an overall delightful atmosphere. Not quite what we anticipated but it was so cool. From the moment we sat down at the one remaining unoccupied booth (open seating) til departing, all three of us had a wonderful time. The food was just terrific. The combo plate (mine), the chicken con queso (my son's dish) and chicken en mole (his mom's) were all tasty with good portions and fairly priced (the rice and beans particularly tasty). It's also not often you can get a good selection of meals under $15 these days but here you can. The salad was quite notable since all premium greens were used, no head lettuce or romaine. Impressive. The salsa could perhaps use a little oomph but hardly bad. The complimentary chips looked homemade and were good but could have used a bit more salt. We did initially ask for our chips instead of being automatically delivered but they came fast and as soon as we finished the first batch, a second was quickly delivered to our table. We also had to request sour cream as it didn't come with the meals but was also promptly brought to the table and also at no charge. The pop and free refills, served in decorative glasses, rounded out our stay. But as much as the food was worth what we paid for, equally memorable was the attentive service from the git go. We could not have asked for better. Nicole, our waitress, was superb thru and thru, perfect. Same with Brandon, her husband, who looked like a supervisor and came to assist wherever needed (as he did with the bringing of food and drink). He also took time from his schedule to chat with us at breaks and in doing so, hit it off with us. Not something we obviously expected but we loved it. Great guy as well as his wife. Both individuals were the faces of Leroy's and they sold it oh so well. We all don't have that kind of money to eat out that often but with the fine food and unusually good service we will have to find a way to soon return to Leroy's. Despite the noise, very highly recommended and worth the drive, regardless of whether you live in Hoosierville or just passing thru. One of those hidden gems. Ignore all the old whiny reviews. Leroy's is indeed good stuff and for good reason.
