Never eating fast food chicken from kfc or chikfila again. The chicken is absurdly delicious, like melt in your mouth. The sprite was on the level of mcdonalds. So this is a very. Hit or miss place. The service is pretty good and I've dined in twice, and ordered delivery and picked up twice. The pizza is kinda 'bland' in a sense of mainly consisting of a greasy taste. They also mus think "extra" sauce is less sauce because twice I've ordered extra sauce on my pizza and got minimal sauce. (The extra sauce was to dilute the greasy taste) However the calzone was actually pretty good, and the fettuccini pasta was also pretty tasty. But for me to get a full 5 star review most of the menu better be great. And in this instance, it's hit or miss.. I'll continue to order from them but from a select few items. read more

Have made numerous trips from the west side of Gary to Santini's in the last couple weeks. My new favorite spot. Have had the ground sausage pizza and the cheese sticks and loved them. The best cheese sticks ever! Me and my pal Amanda have tried something different this time, we had the Cuban sandwich and the Stromboli. Fantastic!! I highly recommend this restaurant. Our first visit to Santini's and it won't be our last. Why did we wait so long to give you guys a try? We ordered bone-in wings in two sauces, boneless wings and mozzarella cheese sticks. Everything was delicious. The wings were moist and flavorful, the mozzarella cheese sticks were hand cut, huge and amazing. We were there on a Monday evening. The dining room was slow, but carry-outs were hoppin'. The atmosphere is relaxed, but nice enough for a date night. Love the Chicago Sports mural on the wall. Our server took wonderful care of us and made sure that we had everything we needed. In addition, since it was our first time, she provided us with a carry-out menu and then led us about the specials throughout the week. Give Santini's a try, you'll be glad you did! read more

The Mozzarella sticks were the best we ever had, and the pizza is always good. We love the mural on the wall too. My wife and I ate there Saturday night and although it was not very busy, it should have been. We like what this restaurant is doing and will come back. To be honest I wasn't expecting anything from this place. It was one of the last places to pick up food before heading home so we tried it. This building has been home to a handful of greasy places that never made it very long. We tried one of the failed restaurants and the inside was one of those places where you don't want to touch anything and you just want to go in to get your food and get out as fast as possible. Well the owners of Santini's have completely gutted this place. It looks completely different and is really nice. Now don't get me wrong it's not a fine dining joint, but for the type of food they serve it's definitely more than I expected. As their menu says they serve pizza, pasta, and wings. I got the Italian Meatball Sandwich and must say it was the best meatball sandwich I've ever had. I could tell that the meatballs were homemade, they were so good. It was only about $6 and, after eating it, I can honestly say if they charged twice that I would've happily paid that. The only thing I don't understand is their address. The shirt our waitress was wearing said Valparaiso, but we were in South Haven and the address they have on their take out menus doesn't exist. Visiting the area from out of town and decided to stop for some pizza to make the kids happy. Was not disappointed. My 3 kids devoured an entire large pizza. I ordered the santini pasta and it was delicious. A creamy tomato sauce with just the right amount of heat and a good portion of chicken, green peppers and onions. Pasta came with some good cheese breadsticks and dipping sauce. Waitress was super friendly and attentive, even after my son accidentally spilled a drink, sorry . Went up there for dinner looking to try their most excellent mozzarella cheese sticks and they ran out this has happened more than once I think they should have had more being a holiday and they were open knowing that they were going to be busy so I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and was charged extra for the meatballs my spaghetti dinner consisted of a dollars worth of sauce and 50 cents worth of pasta for $8.95 $3.00 for 3 meatballs just a big disappointment for a restaurant that has been in this area for many many years the waitress was as nice as she could be I blame this on the owners of the restaurant for not caring enough for their patrons to make enough product to last a whole night. read more

Santini's has by far the best customer service! Family owned and it shows. Now the pizza, Very good! I'm not gonna lie Gelsasamo's has always been my favorite pizza, but both are unique in ways. Hands down customer service goes to Santini's.... if you want a circle of garbage call JJ's Pizza Shack or Little Ceasars.. Family express gas station has better pizza then both.. Decided to try this place because some people raved how good it was. I was disappointed! The tomato sauce was watered down and tasted exactly like cheap canned spaghetti sauce. Also, the breadsticks smelled very sour, even my toddler who loves breadsticks wouldn't touch it because the smell was overpowering. Never again. read more

Wasn't happy. Crust was tasteless like one of those pre-made crust you can buy at Strack & Van Til. Sauce had no taste either. Didn't taste any herbs or spices, and it seemed like there was barely any sauce on it. Was full of grease to. Had to pat down with seven paper towels to soak up. We picked it up a bit past our pickup time, but apparently they don't even have a warming rack because the box was ice cold, and the pizza was as well. Just all around bad. Waste of $14 dollars. The leftover (which there was a lot of) went right in the garbage. read more
