This place has gone down hill. I wanted two cheesesteaks tonight and when my order was being prepared by the cook he was wearing gloves but the cashier who helped in prepping the sandwiches wasn't wearing any gloves and touched the meat that fell out of the bun. I didn't bother saying anything because in know the food would of gone to waste. I just reheated everything when I got home. Also they changed the packaging to a box instead of wrapping it in paper. The older gentleman who works here doesn't give a crap about his job. He is often not around and his customer service is terrible. I watched 5 customers walk away because no one was working behind the station. As I was about to leave he comes out still smiling and chatting on his phone and holds a finger up like "one minute." Then he cooks my food and handles my tomato/lettuce without gloves after he handled cash! I peeked into the back and he has lettuce just sitting out in the open. I canceled my order and left. Rip off!!!!! I asked for regular combo and small combo and without telling me they charged me for large fries. And the size of the sandwiches were the same. No difference in small and regular size. I didn't ask for it. When I asked, they said that's how it is. This was my first time going there. Never going back there again. Besides the Philly cheesesteak sucked. It was bland. Dont waste your money here. The food is not fresh and very salty. Take a look at the receipt, the fries and drinks are separate. The regular fries and drinks are very small, to make it a large is $1 more. There large is a regular size you see at Arby's. You can have a sit down meal at restaurant for $14. Cashier was playing with fidget spinner and greeted me with "can I help you," without any actual greeting or courtesy. Was up-charged $0.50 for Large fries that I did not ask for or receive. Bread was barely even warmed, never mind toasted. Mushrooms and Peppers on regular sized sandwich was 1 slice of mushroom and 2 julienned strips of green pepper. Grill worker was only wearing one glove, which wouldn't have bothered me if it weren't for the fact that he touched everything with his bare hand: bread, cheese, paper, inside of platter. When cutting the sandwich, he used his gloved hand on the knife and held the sandwich in place with his bare hand. Fries were unsalted and not sufficiently drained of oil before being plated. No "thank you" or "have a nice day." Will never return. read more

The Broadway Mall food court has a decent selection with Arby's, McDonald's, Sbarros, Subway, Chinese, and Japanese but ever since I started working around the mall, I've been longing for a convenient, fast place to get a philly cheesesteak. I've gone to a few delis and also Johnny Rockets but it was a bit too greasy for me. A few months ago a sign popped up on one of the vacant areas in the food court that Charley's was coming to town. I'm familiar with the chain and it isn't much different from other locations if you've had it before. Service was very friendly and I even got a sample of the Chicken philly which was a little dry for my tastes. I ordered a regular Philly cheesesteak with a bunch of toppings which were free for any of the subs. They included grilled mushrooms, onions, peppers, lettuce, tomato, etc. There's a good assortment of gourmet subs with bacon, other meats, and other cheeses as well as gourmet fries. Waiting a few minutes watching them make my fresh hot cheesesteak, my fries were just made and before I could finish the food, I was already thinking about the next time I'll come back for lunch. read more
