This location is very average. I recommend ordering online or via the app as the staff only takes orders if you pay cash. If you pay with card, then they direct you to the kiosks. The space is pretty decent sized and has a good amount of indoor seating. Most customers order take out so you would have the place to yourself. Taco Bell has a sentimental place in my heart. 1976 - one of our go to midnight road trip munchie spots on Rt 347 as a bunch of nerdy students. ( Plus that stop at 7 Eleven to get the Big Gulps and the pound bag of peanut M and M's). 1984 - my son was 4 and his first experience at a Taco Bell was in Carson, Ca where my Navy buddy Max and his family met us for a taco feast en route to Disneyland. 2020 - my son's kids are here with us in NY and reintroduced me to this specific Taco Bell location in Hicksville after the World Series when my Dodger fan gals picked up their free stolen bases tacos; the snow changed to rain around 10:00 pm tonight and it was perfect for a 15 minute drive to their favorite Taco Bell. This Hicksville store is immaculate. They are 100 % COVID compliant in terms of distancing, mask enforcement and have loads of sanitizer. There are two customer screens to self order and pay as you walk in. The staff always have gloves on and are meticulous. The wait was maybe 3 minutes for a pretty big order. Speaking of the staff - this location in Hicksville has the nicest, most polite employees who smile as they walk the food over. 3 different employees greeted us. My multilingual granddaughters who were all born in California are fluent in Spanish and they had a ball speaking with 2 of the ladies. Lots of love!! Yes it's Taco Bell but they sure have added some pretty tasty items since just our basic tacos almost 44 years ago - Nacho Fries( yummy), Doritos Nacho Locos Tacos with Ranch dressing( this is some combo), Chicken Chipotle Melt( wow), a seven layer Burrito that was was huge plus some great and healthy sides like black beans and rice. If you grew up on Long Island, it's likely that Taco Bell holds a special place in your heart. The food is always satisfying, cheap, and available at 1:00am. I remember when they got sued a couple of years back and I was like damn, I hope the accuser loses. I actually have never really had a complaint about Taco Bell quality and would prefer it over a crappy McChicken sandwich any day. I recommend getting their $5 boxes to maximize value. Some of my favorite items are the regular crunchy taco, the quesarito, the 99 cent mini chicken quesadilla, and the burrito supreme (without sour cream). Also, make sure you get the Baja Blast soda as the light and sweet nature of the beverage perfectly compliments heavy fare. In regards to this specific location in Hicksville (Broadway): Seating is plentiful, and I've had excellent customer service from the kids who take your order, especially the hispanic dude who looks like he is in high school (I apologize that I don't remember his name). That guy is always cordial when taking your order and a consummate professional, so mad respect. Sometimes there are a lot of people here and it takes forever to receive your order, especially on Friday afternoons. On one occassion, there was a parade of management staff who busted into the front entrance with a trophy rewarding this location for having done a good job; that was cute to witness. read more

Stopped by the drive-thru around midnight yesterday and picked up some dinner. Service was pretty fast and the staff was super friendly. The only down side was everything was packed all together in one medium sized bag, causing all my food to be squished together and 2 of my taco filling came out all over the car. Aside from that, food was pretty good and standard. Way better than the other Taco Bell I went to 2 weeks ago, also located in long island. Soft steak taco - was very tender but steak didn't seem exactly like steak texture. What cut of meat was this? Steak Nacho Grande - sour cream all in one area, bean paste was in another area. Chicken Quesadilla - Loaded Potato - very good! Steak Burrito - not wrapped tight enough. Crispy Chicken Quesadilla - not in a box like other taco bells... I was inspired to write this review because I had a good experience. I've been going to this location for 3 years, I've recently started going more often. There have been times where me and my peers have stayed there past closing time and they have not kicked us out or given us attitude. As we all know this is very uncommon; considering this is a fast food place. The staff is helpful and they have amazing attitudes towards helping the customers. For example, one time my friend got the wrong order and the manager (the blonde hispanic one, late night shifts... usually) was very nice about correcting the order and was EVEN nice enough to go leave it at the table. Another example was today, when I went up to get my order, the employee named Sulma greeted me with such hospitality and kindness. In conclusion, this Taco Bell location has really great service. When you have the late night munchies, you're almost guaranteed that the bell will answer your call. At the menu items are delicious, ranging from their "5 dollar box special" of the month, to the doubledilla, to a quserito, taco bell provides your cheap Mexican meat needs. And with their signature Baha blast, and sangria flavored mountain dew, HOW DO YOU LOSE!!!! (Follow up.... you lose on the toilet, later on in the night/early morning. If you get taco bell late at night, prepare for the morning runs...) Normally, Taco bell would recieve three stars. But because of the nicer atmosphere this one has (being a newer taco bell), friendlier staff, and letting me and my friends stay in the dining area until 1 AM, when it was clearly closed at 12 midnight, it recieves 4 stars. Not to mention that two of my friends know the night manager on a first name basis (I guess we come here TOO often). This spot will be the legendary spot my friends and I get our late night munchies. Ok, let's be honest. It's Taco Bell. The quality of food is not 5 star, however, the orders are always accurate, the food is always served hot, & the drive-thru always moves rapidly. I tried the breakfast menu a few days ago & it was actually pretty good. The simple egg & cheddar cheese grilled soft tacos were simple & good. The soft taco was grilled & lightly crisped. The egg, cheddar cheese, bacon, & hash brown AM wrap was really delicious. I was kind of impressed. Never had a problem here until recently (and I've eaten here over 100 times) . Got my order (probably the $5.99 "Box" special cause it's a great deal) and something was off. The burrito had hardly any fillings ; like it was a mistake. I was going to complain but- eh...I never do "food complaints" in fear of spit & other things added to my food when the replacement comes out (I'm paranoid that way). Lo, and Behold - just then a man walks up to the counter with HIS burrito and was like "There's no meat in here". So they replace it and and I see an employee laughing behind the counter . There service is usually fast. They are very good with taking orders via drive thru. The location is pretty nice. The problem I have recently is with food safety at this location. I've gotten sick my last 2 visits. Having everyone that ate taco bell from this location get sick is a clear indicator for me. Too bad my one year old was throwing up all night.
