I love this place! So good. Usually in the mornings after a long night I come and get there special they have! The half turkey sandwich with fries and a drink! The staff here is always nice and super cool! I definitely recommend

Love this place. Food is good. Service is quick and friendly. Andrew was fast and efficient.

We've loved Charleys for years and they rarely disappoint. We visited on a Sunday late afternoon, so they were busy, in fact, the whole mall was busy. That means there were lines everywhere. But the employees here handled the line with ease, and it wasn't long before we had our food. We honestly had no complaints.

I ordered from Charleys Cheesesteaks for the first time today, through DoorDash. I almost passed on ordering from here because of some bad reviews. I'm glad I took a chance. My food was really good. The LOUISIANA CAJUN FRIES were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The PRIME BBQ JALAPEÑO hoagie was also good.

Food was great. Not sure about the pricing of the food itself. I got the #2 combo with the Philly Cheesesteak, Fries, and a Lemonade. My bill came out to $20.14... which honestly is quite ridiculous. For food court mall food... Would much rather go spend $20 on other food, but it did its job. Steak was good quality but lacked flavor. The strawberry lemonade was flavorful with real strawberries mashed in it. Fries were fries! Service was quick and staff was friendly.

A solid 4.5 stars! Yesterday the mall was doing a summer of fun event where you could spin a wheel in the courtyard and win from a variety of prizes. My husband and I won a coupon valid this weekend for a free fries and soda with the purchase of a sandwich, so we decided to give them a shot. He had the chicken philly and I had the traditional philly. We paid extra and got the lemonade. The lemonade was delicious! Fresh and real, not the from-concentrate stuff a lot of places sell. We were very impressed by the quality of the food, especially from a mall food court. The sandwiches were hot, fresh, not greasy, and delicious. The fries were soft and golden. A regular size was huge. Service was friendly. Overall very happy to have stopped here for lunch.

The place itself is very modern and nice. Overall the vibe it basically a Houston's-type place. And service was good. All of the food overall was very good. Nothing really too crazy. To me, the menu is a little... boring. But, I will say everything was tasty. We got the Cajun shrimp salad (which was simple and clean but tasty), a cheese pizza for the kids (which was good!), a brisket French dip (very tasty and a horseradish sauce with a LOT of bite), a vodka pasta (was good but it actually is TOO big a portion to eat by one's self), the Ahi Tuna frites (the tuna was good and served with a nice green sauce), and the grilled cabbage side (with brown butter and some pomegranate molasses--it was actually my favorite thing!). The key distinctive thing about Laurel Grill seems to be that a lot of things get cooked by that fire which really adds a nice smoky touch (like the shrimp and the ahi tuna and the cabbage). My only major complaint would be the fries were just okay. After a minute or two they weren't crispy anymore. As good as everything else was, I thought they would step things up with the fries but they were just average. Anyways, while I overall am not that excited by the menu, it definitely is a great place to go where everybody will be able to find something tasty to eat. And overall, the portions were pretty fair.

Come here for brunch after climbing the Culver City Stairs at the Baldwin Hills Overlook or a bike ride by the Ballona Creek jetty. Koshihikari Rice Porridge: This is a risotto that has gone gooey. Or is it the creamiest congee around? It is warm and thick, slightly soupy, and the rice grains still have some texture. The flavor is well balanced, a bit of broth, lemon, and olive oil. There are melted leaks at the base of the bowl, glistening with golden olive oil. The broccoli stems have been cooked until they are really soft. Crispy and chewy puffed rice has been sprinkled on top of the porridge, as well as raw green broccoli bits. The broccoli bits are what you get after you shake a grocery bag holding your broccoli crowns. Grilled onion rings are charred sand sweet. A sweet chocolatey gravy of black garlic is dusted on top. I don't eat porridge too often, but I'd keep coming back for the incredible flavors and textures in this stunning bowl. Ordering: Place your order at the counter, pick up a number, and find a table on the sidewalk. Dining: There was a line out the door on the weekend and seats are hard to come by, so I roll the order to go. Parking is plentiful with lots of spots on the street.

The stuffed matcha croissant really wasn't stuffed, the matcha was coated on the side of the croissant. The pastries were alright. Husband got the coffee and it was a bit too acidic. My matcha latte was soo grassy and herby. I also tried the koshihikari rice porridge, the black garlic flavor was overpowering. It's a very hearty dish, perhaps a bit too much for me in the morning. Overall I feel like maybe this place is too avant garde for my taste.

Photos and descriptions of the courses and space simply cannot convey the immaculate flow of the evening (and better left unspoiled), so I'll just note my highlights. Half of what you're paying for is the service, and all the staff we interacted with were extremely knowledgable about ingredients and techniques, and noticed that my partner was left handed almost immediately and adjusted accordingly. The highlight of the standard menu was the morels stuffed with quail (served alongside, you guessed it, quail), drizzled with concentrated birch sap. We were left puzzled as to why we as a society are not consuming more birch sap! The caviar supplement is simply the best caviar course in all of LA, with a generous helping of golden osetra caviar hidden beneath a white asparagus forest. The wagyu supplement was a welcome swap for the lamb course, a very expensive swap, but worth it for the generous portion of A5 seared beautifully. Fine dining sometimes leaves you wondering if the price is commensurate to the experience you are getting, but at Vespertine the answer is a clear and resounding yes.

From there, you're guided inside and up an elevator to the kitchen level. The space reflects the restaurant's minimalist, modern aesthetic. Chefs move quietly in black, loose-fitting robes--an intentional departure from traditional uniforms--reinforcing a clear theme of zen and nature. The experience continues on the third floor, where the first seven courses are served. The meal begins with wild scallops--easily one of my top three dishes of the evening. The sweet prawns, smoked mussels, quail, and sourdough porridge bread were equally memorable, each dish thoughtfully composed and beautifully executed. My friend and I each opted for different beverage pairings--one alcoholic and one non-alcoholic. The alcoholic pairing was excellent and thoughtfully curated. The non-alcoholic pairing, however, was less compelling and not something I would choose again. Later, we're guided downstairs for two transitional courses, followed by three desserts. Coffee--both caffeinated and decaffeinated--is offered and pairs beautifully with the final courses, bringing the experience to a quiet, elegant close--one that lingers long after the last sip. Service was excellent. This was a delightful culinary experience of a lifetime - one that I will remember for a long time.
