This is the first time I've been to a Firehouse Subs and I loved it!!!!!!!!! I cant wait to come back!! First off they are 100% on there theme. Everything inside feels like a tribute to firefighters and firehouses. I love it! But most importantly the sandwiches are delicious. I had The Engineer: Smoked turkey breast, melted provolone & savory mushrooms w/ lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo & deli mustard. It came on a toasted bun and packed with so much flavor it had me licking my fingers! And a very good dill pickle spear came on the side. Something else they have that i love is one of those soda machines that makes dozens of different sodas! I love a red Fanta :) Back to the inside the shop is very clean with ample seating. This was my first time ordering from Firehouse Subs. To be honest it was quite underwhelming. I ordered the smoked turkey breast in a Medium. It was quite small and not much turkey or cheese. The cost was $15.20 which is quite expensive for this size sub. By comparison the Same sub in Wisconsin is $8.50! I know we live in LA but that is a huge difference. The taste was very good but for the price and size I probably wouldn't order from them again. read more

I am blown away! This sandwich shop is AMAZING. Delicious, fresh, large portions. I had been wanting to try them and I'm so glad I did. I got the mushroom turkey and i ordered the beef brisket for my daughter. She loved her sandwich and I adored mine. It was flavorful and huge. I struggled to finish my first half. I had to eat my second half the next day. The large sandwiches are around 20 dollars and the cuts of meat are thick and inviting. The guy at the register was very patient and kind to me. My newest sub obsession location. Stopped by for a sub for lunch and I was blown away about how fresh their food is. The place is a bit snug with just a few tables and chairs to eat, if you don't want to be too close to the line while you're eating, it's best to get your food to go...The staff were nice and friendly and explained some of their menu items. I made a create your own medium sub with ham, turkey and salami. The bread was fresh, warm and fluffy. The deli cuts were great and the produce was just as fresh. You have the ability to make your own sub, or choose one from the menu. You also can make any sub hot or cold. I also ordered one of their confetti birthday cake cookies and that didn't disappoint! Be sure to do their survey so you can get a free drink on the next visit. This place gets pretty busy during the lunch hour of 12-1pm so order ahead if you can! Went to your restaurant for lunch had some issues with my T- mobile app for your BOGO. Desiree was the cashier & Stacy was asked to assist. Both wasn't well to help me refuse to get the person in charge because they claimed the manager in, however they never said it wasn't a crew leader available. They both were condescending, smart mouth, rude and keep looking over at me laughing like s&it was funny. When my food was ready the girl Desiree throw my food on the counter at me instead of handing it to me. I got a refund and will neveeeeer go to that place again. read more

I cannot rave enough about Firehouse Subs. My wife took me there to tag along. I ordered a tuna fish sub. I was going to eat half and save the half later, but I couldn't do it. It was so delicious. I had the whole wheat roll. I ate the entire thing in one sitting, then returned and got a foot-long and ate the whole thing in one sitting. Also, my wife and children love their sandwiches. It is amazing. I also love that they like to do serious community service work. Several checks of over $1 million have been raised and donated to community efforts. Eating at the firehouse is a win-win situation for everyone. The atmosphere is clean, and the restaurant's ambiance is a deli counter experience. Employees tonight not sharp. 1) She never heard of the chicken parm- I had to show her on my phone, then the other woman told me no it's no longer here 2) She SPECIFICALLY said there's no specials today- but aren't there specials every day? It's Tues, my opening words were "Turkey bacon ranch?". So is she denying discounts to EVERYBODY all day??? Costing everybody a extra $2? Maybe management knows this **** 3) She and I pointed at the Dijon mustard together - on their little display box- I pleaded for extra on my sammich. Then I get home - NOOOOO mustard. Like ZERRRROOO. I tried Firehouse for the first time ever last week, and was pleasantly surprised. I thought it would be similar to Jersey Mikes (which I personally do NOT enjoy), but it wasn't their options were more creative and more appealing. And I was correct after my menu assessment, my sandwich was so so good. The staff there was very patient and helpful as well. Also the have gluten free rolls (medium sized only) but my mom seemed to enjoy her sandwich as well. They also have a small kids menu as well as their sauce station that includes a hefty handful of hot sauce options. And for my pickle lovers all sandwiches come with a spear. read more

The parking lot and location is the worst that I can say negative about this place! If you're headed bear coming west bound on Slauson there is no left turn into this shopping plaza, so head up to the light at Home Depot and make a Uturn. It can get busy at lunch time and the parking lot only has one drive way in and out so it can get congested at times. But that's the bad, that's it! The good, and it's OH SO GOOD! Until today, I had very visited a Firehouse Subs, but the commercials currently running for the Parmesan Chicken Sub running on TV, I had to seek out this place. Sadly this location is the closest to me within 25 miles! (Please fix that asap!). The bread is super fresh and when a hot sub, it's toasted perfectly for an outer crust and soft inside! The Parmesan Chicken Sub is served on toasted garlic bread which let's face it, that's the way all meatball subs should be done! The chicken meatballs were so flavorful and the provolone melted cheese on top was perfection! My only complaint was my own doing and I ordered a small (which is half of a 6" sub) and i deprived myself of the deliciousness of a whole sub! TIP: Go Big! You're going to wish you did! The location was clean, had friendly employees making the most delicious subs which let's face it, within one block this street has amazing sandwich competition, but Firehouse is bringing it! They hold up against some of the best Subs LA has just down the street! I went to Firehouse Subs about a month ago and just getting around to finishing my review. I didn't ask the lady name who took my order but the name on my receipt says Ada. I ordered a medium Italian with wheat bread, no olives and extra onions. When I opened my sandwich there were olives inside the sandwich. When I checked my receipt it says white bread with XT olives. When I brought it to "Ada's" attention she responded with a not so friendly attitude which made me want my money back. She spoke as if I didn't request no olives. The reason I believe I asked for my sandwich the way I normally ask is because the person making my sandwich heard me say wheat bread so they gave me wheat bread but my receipt clearly says white bread. The customer service I received left me with a bad taste in my mouth and I probably won't return. read more

The first time I tried FireHouse I got a Philly Cheese Steak. The meat was cold. I was pissed and vowed never to go again. Then Uber Eats had a sale buy one sub get one free so I got a cold sandwich this time. The Italian (kind of like a Subway cold cut but with Italian dressing and seasoning. Very very good. Even told my mother who also had tried a sub and was not impressed and she got the Italian too for her and my dad bc the sub is huge. I came here to get some food for my family and I've gotta say, I most likely won't be back. The staff was great and helpful, there's no doubt about that, but the food was just not good. One of the sandwiches I got had oil on it. When I opened the food container and picked up the sandwich, I found the bottom to be very soggy, this was because it had been sitting in a pool of oil. Aside from that the sandwich was bland, the meat was flavorless and I could taste mustard but that was about it. I also grabbed a sandwich for my mother, she complained of the sandwich just not tasting good, that the meat wasn't cooked enough. They had signs about their cherry limeade beverage, which I also ordered. They should have branded this "Red sugar water". I'm 99% sure this is the same recipe I had for Kool Aid as a kid. read more
