They're heavily promoting their Maeve brand. They also had a little shoe feature which I hadn't seen before. I checked out the sale items & they had a good selection, but nothing caught my eye. Then as I was poking around the Maeve section, I noticed a really cute white button down with embroidered horses on it. Then I spotted a couple of sweaters with a horse motif, some really adorable red trousers & a red shirt that said "Ciao Bella". I brought the goods into the changing room, and ultimately decided on the white blouse with the horses. I was happy to note that there is a 20% discount for students and teachers as well. Anthropologie skews on the higher end for everything from clothes, to candles, to toiletries & costume jewelry. Prices get a little better for sale items, but most of the time, everything is still pricey. Anthropologie's clothes do tend to be well-made and quality on the whole & when building or curating your wardrobe, you can find some pieces that will be favorites for years to come. Both gals who helped me were very nice. Peace.

Suede... lined with shearling, with more shearling on the cuffs and collar. Designed by Mother, $450. I wanted to take it home with me. Then I checked the label... 100% polyester. Anthropologie, what on earth are you doing selling an almost $500 after taxes jacket that's made of plastic??? I walked around and so many things were a similar circumstance. Who is curating these stores?? People don't come into Anthropologie to buy trash bags and get a headache and burning lungs from air freshener or whatever it is they pump into the air. Bring back the integrity of the store. Otherwise, you're just a severely overpriced SHEIN, Temu, Amazon. The girls who worn here are always nice though, not their fault corporate is ruining the brand.

The new store, now on the second floor, after the OG Fashion Valley Banana Republic on the first floor (now Versace in that space?) closed, is beautiful. I'm digging the rebrand - "Banana Republic Atelier". The customer service is impeccable and the salespeople very friendly and kind. There are welcoming comfy lounge chairs throughout. They remind me of restoration hardware cloud couches! Very comfy. Coffee table books galore to look at, while your spouse tries on clothes. There was a vintage Bmw motorcycle displayed in the center of the store and the clothes within were classic and vintage cool. Linens were abundant- we are ready for summer! Luxe cashmere was available as well. There was a tall blonde and pretty woman salesperson who was incredibly thoughtful and kind- my tot was running around like crazy and she brought her a "treasure map" (the current design of their tissue paper for purchased clothes!), and offered us boxed waters at different temperatures. I wish I could remember her full name- J, Jacey? Another customer was very obviously European and was offered sparkling or still water- impressive customer service and a fun tailored experience to shop in. I wanted to give feedback because this was probably the nicest shopping experience I have ever had- the kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff was better than any other luxury store I have ever been to- Gucci, etc. The quality of the clothes is impeccable- they last many years.

The order did not ship within one day and arrived a week later, well after the event. The shoes looked different from the website photos and did not fit. I tried them on once indoors, then immediately returned them to the box and requested a return. This business does not answer their customer service email/returns email whatsoever. I had to call to arrange the return. After I shipped the shoes back, I received a call claiming the shoes had "dirt and grass" on them and that they would not process my return. This is inaccurate as the shoes were only tried on inside once and placed directly back in the box. I spoke with a representative named Megan, who said she would escalate the issue and call me back. She never did. Over the past two months I have called numerous times. Each time I am told Megan is unavailable and will call back, but I have never received a follow-up. I have never in my many years of online shopping have experienced such horrible customer service.

VUORI @ LA JOLLA…read more Street parking is available throughout the area, along with parking right out front. Parking is free for two hours, and when I came on a Saturday afternoon, it wasn't packed at all. I really love Vuori. This was actually my first time shopping in-store, even though I've heard so many great things about the brand from friends. My boyfriend and I stopped by while doing some Christmas shopping, and I wanted him to try on a few jackets. I especially loved their fleece jacket, which is around $140. They also have a great selection of shorts, both lined and unlined in colors like green, blue, black, and gray. I'm a big fan of the store's overall aesthetic. The service was great from the moment we walked in, we were immediately greeted, and everything in the store was very organized. The fitting rooms were spacious, and I loved that there was a comfy seating area where I could relax while my boyfriend tried things on. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I ended up spending about $330 and picked up their iconic tote bag, which is really cute. If it's your first time shopping at Vuori, you can sign up on their website to get 20% off, which is a great perk. Overall, I loved my experience at Vuori and would definitely recommend stopping by. It's clearly a popular brand in La Jolla, I see so many people wearing it, and I'll definitely be returning to this location.

Nordstrom Rack in la jolla is a discount retail store located in the shops at la jolla village,…read moreoffering a wide selection of name brand clothing, shoes, and accessories. Pros: This is a solid spot for finding discounted name brand items if you are willing to look through the racks. There is a decent variety of clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories, and you can sometimes find really good deals depending on timing. The store is organized by section, which makes it easier to browse compared to some other discount stores. It is also in a large shopping center, so it is convenient to pair with other errands or food stops nearby. Staff are usually helpful when you need assistance with locked items or sizing, and checkout is generally quick even when it is busy. Cons: The biggest issue is inconsistency. Some visits have great finds, while other times the selection feels picked over or limited. It also gets very crowded, especially on weekends or during sales, which can make shopping feel a bit hectic. Parking can also be annoying during peak hours since the plaza is shared with many other stores. Verdict: Overall, this is a reliable place for discounted shopping if you are patient and go at the right time. Weekdays or off peak hours are usually the best for selection and a smoother experience.

They also carry a lot of smaller items and travel-sized products. My boyfriend picked up a few items, and we noticed a lot of merchandise from brands like TravisMathew at significant discounts. There are definitely plenty of high-end brands available at great prices. They also have an impressive shoe selection. Overall, I really enjoy shopping at Nordstrom Rack because there are always amazing deals on quality brands. The staff was friendly, the store was clean and organized, and the shopping experience was enjoyable. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

I had unfortunately lost the cap and damaged the spray mechanism while transferring some of the fragrance into a travel atomizer, and I honestly expected to be turned away. Instead, Jorge, the Creed Business Manager, treated me with complete professionalism, kindness, and respect from the moment I explained the situation. Rather than making me feel embarrassed or inconvenienced, he took the time to help find a solution and made the entire experience seamless. This is exactly what luxury customer service should feel like--attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely customer-focused. It's rare these days to encounter someone who combines professionalism with such grace, understanding, and a sincere desire to help. Jorge turned what I thought would be a frustrating situation into an exceptional experience. He is a tremendous asset to Neiman Marcus, and his level of service has earned my continued loyalty. A truly exceptional experience, and a wonderful reflection of both Neiman Marcus and the luxury fragrance brands they represent. I like the addition of "earned my continued loyalty" because that's the kind of statement retail leadership pays attention to when reading customer reviews.
