I rode it today on really fun quick waves and I can say it's the best board I've had in 10 years It's so fast down the line I was making closeouts. And I could do round houses really clean and easy Very high-performance. But paddles like a mid length. David Craig's boards have my highest recommendation. I love it so much and we will keep this hat even when he outgrows it! Took about 30 mins to complete which was fine, we went to eat while he worked on that. The letters seem a little crooked to me like it's descending but with the font (which we did all caps), it's fine. The cap itself was $27.99 but with customization it came to almost $50. I did try to look online to see if it was sold anywhere but those are hard to find so it was worth it for us.

When I asked for help, rather than asking what size I normally wear or taking the time to understand what I was looking for, she simply grabbed multiple sizes. The experience felt more like I was shopping on my own than being assisted by a sales stylist. I gave the store another chance and came back a second time. Unfortunately, the experience was exactly the same. The same sales associate was in the back, came out, gave a quick hello, and immediately went back to being on her phone. There was very little effort to engage with customers or create a welcoming shopping experience. I was also disappointed with the quality of the clothing. For the prices being charged, I expected much better quality. Some of the threads were already coming loose, and the overall construction did not feel worth the price. For the price point and quality, I honestly feel you can find better options elsewhere. I don't even typically shop at SHEIN, but the quality-to-price ratio here was disappointing enough that I would rather spend my money elsewhere. Overall, the combination of poor customer service, lack of attention from the sales associate, and overpriced clothing that feels cheaply made made this a very disappointing shopping experience. I expected a much higher level of service and quality for the prices Bobby Rocco charges.

While strolling along a shopping strip in La Jolla, waiting for my dinner reservations, I stumbled upon this hat store and to my surprise, they had a Grinch hat! I couldn't resist, especially since the hat store I visited earlier didn't have it. Naturally, I had to get it for my nephew, who's a big Grinch fan. The store was clean, well-organized, and the service was friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by the price, it wasn't as expensive as I expected, considering the location and the fact that it was a Grinch-themed hat. I asked whether there were any other holes like it on the hat, and she acknowledged there were not. Because the item was a final sale, I asked whether they would consider a discount due to the defect. The assistant manager declined. I then asked to speak with the store manager and was told the manager was not there. When I asked who could make that decision, the assistant manager said she would need to contact the executive manager but did not offer to do so until I specifically asked her to make the call. Instead, she took the hat from me and said she would return it to the vendor. I explained that I wanted to buy the hat and was simply requesting a reasonable discount because it had a visible defect. At that point, she said, "It can't hurt to ask the manager," took my phone number, and said someone would get back to me. I'm waiting to see whether management follows up and will update this review accordingly.

What made the experience especially noticeable was that I observed two employees greet every customer who entered after me. I also watched them approach multiple shoppers throughout the store to offer assistance. Meanwhile, I leisurely browsed the fragrance section, sampled products, walked through nearly every display, browsed the sale room, and spent 10-12 minutes in the store. Not once did a single employee acknowledge my presence. Being overlooked is one thing. Watching everyone around you receive a warm welcome and attentive service while you remain invisible is another. The attached photo may offer a clue as to what made me different from the other customers who were greeted and assisted that morning. Free People prides itself on community, inclusion, and customer experience. If that's truly the culture, it should extend to every customer who walks through the door. Do better.

I purchased an 18k gold double plated choker necklace by House of Sacred Flame that cost $236. I specifically asked about the double gold plating because I wanted to make sure that it was not going to tarnish. The salesperson assured me that if I made sure that the necklace did not come in contact with any oils or lotions on my skin then it would stay the gorgeous gold color it was. Less than 5 months after I purchased it (and followed the instructions to the letter) the necklace is tarnished. I have reached out to the manufacturer, House of Sacred Flame, but have not heard back from them. This is a cautionary tale for those who shop at this store and perhaps a point of reflection for the person who selects which merchandise to sell.
