    Fish House Grouper Sandwich

Lovely lunch spot. I really enjoyed my grouper BLT. My husband's burger was fine... nothing exceptional but tasty all the same. Great views and the service was good.

Spent our last meal in Charleston at the Charleston Harbor Fish House! Overall, it was a good experience. The restaurant is super cute inside but wasn't too busy. The views were unreal! So so pretty! (We got sat right next to the windows!) For an appetizer we got the hot crab dip. It was good but very salty. I felt the need to chug water afterwards. I am a rather picky eater which usually is not a problem, the waitress/waiter usually provides ways that I can adjust current options to fit my restrictions. It wasn't really the case here so I ordered my only option of the hot honey shrimp appetizer for my main course. It was good, very flavorful, I just was bummed that there wasn't any other dish that could be adjusted (I guess that's on me!) Overall, I might come back. The food was good and the place was cute but it wasn't anything crazy!

We had the best experience at your restaurant. We only went in four nights that we were at the Harbor Resort for after dinner drinks. I have to say that BRANDON was the nicest young man. He made me the perfect Expresso Martini's ever night. Please thank Brandon for his smile and excellent service.

Great service and great food! We had a table by the window with a beautiful view. Located on the water.

After attending the Fort Sumter boat tour we decided on the Charleston fish house for lunch since it is right across the parking lot. If you paid for parking at patriots point for the Yorktown or Sumter tour just walk right across the road. If you drive the turn is almost right where you come into park for the tours except on the left. You'll pay $10 to grab a ticket and go through the white parking gate. Just walk. The food was amazing!!!! Literally everything we got was delicious. Adults got the fried shrimp and oysters platter and the fried grouper blt. Melt in your mouth! We didn't know there was a children's menu, but you can get a child's burger, chicken tenders, grill cheese or butter noodles. Kids serving is a good size. You can dress to impress or not (lunch specific) for people coming from the boat experiences.

This is an elegant, quaint restaurant overlooking the Charleston harbor. The views were spectacular and the meal was delicious. My husband and I ordered the shareable dip platter (the pita chips had to be homemade because they were top notch) and the lobster ravioli. The ravioli were rolling in flavor and there were chunks of lobster mixed in- it was definitely worth the price. Our only complaints were related to the staff- the hostess didn't acknowledge us and instead answered the phone when we walked up for our reservation. It took 3-5 minutes to be acknowledged and seated. Our waitress was friendly but she took several minutes to flag down for more tea, water, and our bill.

Food was good. Local seafood with hush puppies hit the spot. Go at sunset. The view on a good day is awesome!

Really enjoyed this restaurant as we were staying at the resort. Excellent views of the water and the historic USS Yorktown. Really nice and prompt service and delicious food. Ordered the scallops and they were amazing. My wife ordered the lobster ravioli and enjoyed it as well. The corn bread was also an excellent appetizer. Fairly priced, solid drink options.

Food was okay. Service was average. Ambiance was a true fish house vibe. The view is perfect. The hummus dip appetizer was great, Caesar salad was good, shrimp and grits had no flavor. The sword fish was delicious with risotto. Order the swordfish and you will love it! We stayed at the resort, which was lovely. The pool and view are fabulous.

Had my birthday dinner here last night and the food/service/vibes were great! We got the cornbread, calamari and the lobster ravioli. Everything was delicious and the service was quick, our waiter was very attentive. Also the view of the Yorktown + Patriots Point marina is beautiful at sunset.

We were greeted by a kind hostess before entering the restaurant. We quickly had a table available and were able to enjoy the fun atmosphere. We started with three small plates including the oven roasted oysters, crude plate (shrimp and scallops) and the tuna tataki. All were outstanding but the oysters were a table favorite. For a main dish I chose the oyster po boy which was on a toasted roll and some spicy sauce. It was outstanding. The margarita was a perfect addition to the meal. I highly recommend grabbing a slice of Charleston right here at 167 Raw if you are in town.

Honestly, I make Creole / bbq shrimp at home and they're always MUCH better than what I got at The Darling. The service (with the exception of the lousy recommendation) was decent enough. If I ever go back, I'll probably stick with oysters on the half shell. (Sorry no pic. I actually took one that day, but subsequently deleted it because it was so bad.)

The Positive is that the grouper was decent however it was impossible to eat. Bun piled w/things. Seems like a good problem but not fun to try to eat as a handheld. 4) Music - Dean Martin and so forth being played in the dining room - great. Good vibe. For some reason that stopped and all we could hear was Tool being played loudly in the kitchen. The door to the kitchen was open and what I can only assume were managers were sitting on their computers at a high top right by us (I say that bc they went in and out of the kitchen and one was in chef like clothes). Why they didn't shut it down is beyond me. Overall disappointed.

The host station was not running at its best either. We had a reservation and they told us they were "working on our table," and we should wait "under the stairs." Apparently "under the stairs" is also where they store napkins and supplies. We looked to our right and saw 3 empty and clean tables. After about 5 minutes of standing under the stairs, they sat us at one of those tables, which had not required any extra "getting ready." Just didn't sit well ( or stand well) with me.

There's a room of wines for sale, beer, and a few dining tables. Then there's the fresh catch display case... And I must say, their selection is consistently great. The quality and freshness is top notch. And they usually have some hard to find fresh catch. Both times I've been here - the first time to eat there and the second time to just buy some fresh fish to cook at home - the people who worked there have been borderline rude. Maybe rude is the wrong word. Personality-less might be a better descriptor. There was a major vibe of - "what do you want...because you're bothering me..." if that makes sense. Contrast that with Crosby's down the road (heading towards Folly Beach on the right) and the difference is STARK. Crosby's people are *always* so nice and helpful. Can't tell you how many times I've struck up a conversation about what I was buying and how I was planning to cook it at Crosby's. CudaCo, on the other hand, is cold and their staff seems completely indifferent about their customers. It's why I never go there anymore and I tell everyone I know to avoid it like the plague.
