I got a coffee before my perusing, and i can say it's one of the better coffees i've had in the area. it was delicious and very easy to throw back. I will definitely be returning here to come and do work and keep up to date on their book selection. I love supporting local and this has been my best find yet in phoenix!

The barista that rung me up was also so sweet and welcoming. They just updated their seating arrangement to a builtin bench all along the wall with many more outlets (yes!!!). My only complaint is that the cushions slide all over the place and come with you as you try to slide out and get up. But maybe it's a work in progress, so I don't mind. It's just some steamed milk dumped on espresso in a paper cup. Any time a barista puts a cap on your cup (paper cups are generally a bad sign, but some are very good, but still not as good as glass cup poured versions) it's clear they intend to hide the lack of microfoam head, the art itself is how you build this drink. The pastries are great. I've wanted to like this place really because of the story, but if you're really into espresso there are so many better options than Cosita.
